Free TV on the PC

Some time ago I believe shadowcat asked about this. I did a quick search on a recent ad I saw. I found this site.

Apparently it's a scam to take your money. There is free streaming tv on the internet I read though from sites such as http://www.lyngsat.com
but it's not the broadcast networks that the scam sites make you think you can get for free.
I don't know if anyone is using Windows ME but I found a link to download and fix the system restore function somewhere in there (needed before you update Windows media player or the other player mentioned). Microsoft had a flawed algorithm in Windows ME that wouldn't let you use a system restore created after sept 8, 2001.

There are also a number of Free new programs that have just come out such as VUZE.
And YouTube has a number of TV shows as well.
I hardly ever watch TV on TV anymore, because it's just so damned inconvenient. lol
