For my Detroit brothers from the late 80's early 90's, there was a dancer at the Flight Club or for those who like to date ourselves, the 747...oops Boeing did not like that one. Her name was Chelle or similar danced and was a pro, never gave or got extras from her, but she did the high end grinding and pant stick shifting back then. Did see her videos..what a stunner!...

Here goes from a Detroit perspective...The 80's La Chambre - Not much compared today, the 747, now the Flight Club ...getting better, mileage improving more grindage than tonguage, Landing Strip pretty good waiting for Bob Seger to show up, Club Manchester in Highland Park...classy and some girls would play in the back rooms, Memphis was awesome Danny's was the cream of the crop...made my eyes roll into the back of my head....fast forward to 1988, things were getting looser in the D, mileage was improving from one or two who might to around a third of the girls who would "play"..Made my virgin/rookie trip to MBOT in that era...wow! Can I move to San Fran???..
1990.Memphis was accelerating with all the southern girls wanting to make some money...Detroit was getting crazier, Houston loved Treasures and St James, but a bit pricey and mileage was great (loved the chair forts)....
2000's Detroit was rocking, money was flowing and the girls were bl*wing...late 2010' Auto biz having problems, but the strip clubs were ramping up the horsepower Penthouse was born at the end of the decade and was pretty classy for the Motown boys...girls were top-notch, and some still are, but the quality has gone down a bit over the last 5 years...Memphis is a shell of its former self. MBOT is wayyyyoverpriced, but hey so is Disney World.
My two cents over three decades of clubbing.

Lets go with Danny's in Memphis in the late 80's..I would have to say the introduction to southern babes and the beginning of the extras era..alas the DEA did not take to kindly to this owner

1985 - Club Manchester -Detroit/Highland Park..the precursor to the Detroit Clubs of today...
1990 -Danny's -Memphis, TN..the precursor to Platinum Plus....
2000 - Landing Strip-Romulus, MI..the precursor to the Flight Club...or 747 Club..
2007 - Penthouse Club - Detroit, MI...the precursor to..????

40's -Once a week
50's - As often as I can, however I did have that one period where I went two months without going, but was talked down from the ledge by TUSCL Wisemen and resumed my visits. Did go to a Liza Minnelli tribute during that time period, does that count?

There have been some classics that you missed...Danny's in Memphis, yee haw...Club Manchester in Highland Park, MI put these new Detroit Clubs to shame...There was a couple of others in Highland Park that had special rooms upstairs... Retro strip club days!!!

The PC in Detroit is great and you can have anything you like, however the champion ROBs take you in with promises of fun (which you will get, but the price seems to go up as she gets you going). My favorite line from a ROB is..Did you get a cash advance last time, we were together..alarm bells be a ringing

I too remember Dannys with a longing of many a night spent there. What I though was amazing was BYOB, and closing the place down, my clothes trashed out, rental car in the lot, taxi back to the Holiday Inn, three hours rest, Holiday Inn shuttle to airport and asking to be dropped off to pick up rental car. The girls were southern hotness at its finest. In Detroit, before the Flight Club, Landing Strip, and Playhouse, ther was a fantastic strip club in Highland Park....drum roll... Club Manchester, amazing, makes me smile from ear to ear

How the mighty have fallen...I loved Memphis back in the day..Danny's was a precursor to all that was good with strip clubs (hot southern dancers, great contact, mileage that continued to go up, OTC arrangements). My favorite memory of Danny's was the business trip with rental car and since the majority of Memphis clubs allowed BYOB, and I had developed an usual desire for Southern Comfort at that time in my life, I decided to go a little crazy. With about $800 in my pocket and a fifth of SC for the SC, I was going to have a night to remember...what I do remember is this..clothes just torn up, very hungover, rental car remained in parking lot for next day pick-up (always a classic), just enough dollars for a cab ride back to the Holiday Inn down the rode, a smile on the flight home....priceless. A VISA card commercial in the offing.

It is rather unfortunate that this gentlemen can not channel his inner Penthouse Forum. I would imagine that he is not old enough to have those great stories seared into his memory banks. For me, was always something that I would have hoped would happen to me, and it did!

I like the first and the last dancer approach to this topic, kind of like book ending your strip club career. My resume is extensive on this topic. My first memory is Club Manchester in Highland Park, MI, anyone else remember this classy strip club with rooms in the back? Her name was Crystal with platinum blond hair - 1986. The first extras to be had when extras were limited......fast forward to the late 90's in Detroit with the Landing Strip, 747, Trumps, and the Play House. Always a memorable time at the LS in the upper deck there with a couple girls, one was Hispanic-Stefanie, the other was the quintessential blond stripper Tiffany. The 747 which became the Flight Club had a few lookers, one was Chelle, who was a porn actress and she got the little guy multiple times. Over to the Play House was a little colored AA with such heavy breasts, they left me breathless, she could work it amazingly, an additional tall Blondie from Adrian, MI was always a must see. Fast forward to the opening of the Penthouse Club and a couple of beauties there over the years, all gone now Pochanatas (Mix of asian, and black, wow!), Crystal (petite spinner), and Maria (brunnete, with man mades). Still in the game looking for the next ones that will keep my hard drive hard.

Danny's what a great place..such fond memories. Two concepts that made this place a pleasure palace. BYOB and lap dances from gals who knew how to do it.. I have great memories of this place from the late 80's, it was a great place. The girls were amazing, love those trashy southern gals...and if you wanted a little extra, make a right hand turn into on of the massage parlors next door...a strip mall of pleasure there along with the other dive strip club a couple of doors away..Thank you Shadowcat for reminding me of one of the best SC I had ever been to. Will have a fun filled dream tonight.
