I definitely think that this site is incredibly helpful but a newbie ought to a: do his due diligence and invest the time and effort to read all that is available: b: be willing to post his own experiences; and c: critically appraise what is written. This site is no different in terms of quality information that anywhere else on the internet — some posters are fair and well-informed and others are not. There definitely is a “culture” to this particular site and it takes a while to begin to understand it.

I think that one of the ironies of this entire, very interesting thread is that while there are undoubtedly similarities in what PLs are looking for and what strippers are looking for, the best experiences seem to be when the two people involved have needs that are at least partially fulfilled by the other in that particular interaction and at that particular time and place. People are complex — and the real danger is when one or both parties start thinking they “know” all about the other and based on assumptions, past experiences, and stereotypes and act erroneously on those assumptions.

For right or for wrong, I try to read these reviews as if I am a potential patron to the club and think, “does this review help me decide whether or not to make the time and money investment to see for myself?” I suspect that some of my requests for more financial details are a higher standard than some as I have read several posted reviews with no financial information at all.

I think there used to be a by-line on the website stating something about TUSCL and strip-clubs being “a culture” and I really think that’s true. I have enjoyed escorts, AMPs, one “Sauna” in Vienna and some of the other P4P places in The Czech Republic as well as SC in other places. All have their pluses and minuses and TUSCL has been a great source of information for the SC culture. The are other forums that cover reviews on the other offerings better but there is definitely some overlap. I guess in my opinion that while the sexual arousal/getting off may be similar, the “games” are way different and the experience and expertise shared on the various forums attests to that.

I personally don’t have any problems with the variety. Some of the reports that I have read for for establishments that were not strictly strip clubs but still offered some enjoyable entertainment. Just pass the review along and let others assess if you fon’t have the interest (or experience).

It seems to me that in general, Sugar- relationships are no different than any other human relationship— there are arrangements that work out extremely well and others that fail spectacularly. While it is true that life’s circumstances are what they are, (i.e. life is NOT fair) most everyone still adheres to the sanctity of individual choice. If individuals actually took ownership of the choices they made throughout their lives (both good and not-so-good) I think there would be less wailing and sanctimonious gnashing of teeth over many issues.

This review (and several others by this monger) are plagaristically similar in their verbiage. Rather than stating “small town near a university in Oregon”, some of the others state the town (e.g. Salem) even when the report is from Springfield! That stated, “his” newer reviews are quite well written and metaphorically entertaining. Just wanted the community to know.
