OT: How Toxic is Too Toxic? Is TUSCL There Yet?
"it's still for <50 people" founder and maybe a handful of other people know what the actual traffic is for the site. There's probably more people lurking than it seems, just like there's probably a reason most of the new faces are just people looking for an easy button to get off at their local clubs. This wasn't a thread to ask anyone to fix the forums. It was really just to ask how you all thought things were going. A lot of people posting here on the boards sound angry and miserable, so considering this is a hobby site it seemed worth putting a question out there about it.

Orange County recommended clubs with high mileage
We just had this conversation the other day about what makes a dance high mileage, but help us all out with your idea of what that means. And if you've read the reviews also try sending private messages to the people who wrote them. Lots of dudes who write reviews don't read the boards.

OT: How Toxic is Too Toxic? Is TUSCL There Yet?
Thanks for weighing in. Some of the TUSCLers I thought had VIP status actually don't, so I might also send this around as a PM. Some of the other issues over years got talked out via the forums (voting on reviews, bring back the top lists, etc) so maybe there's a middle ground here that the board regulars can agree on. Splitting out the politics got a lot of the negativity off the main forum, but like McNulty said the contempt is starting to bleed into even the most mundane topics. Take a thread like can-you-tell-me-everyplace-I-can-get-laid-in-orange-county-but-only-with-white-chicks. That should be an easy no thanks (or maybe even a sorry officer) that fades away quickly but instead spirals into a flame war. It had the TJ angle because of San Diego, but otherwise is the same kind of stuff we used to routinely shrug off. I've half jokingly put out the idea of yet another splinter board, but what kind of forum are we going to have if asking about the weather turns into an argument?

NBA Finals - Celtics Vs Warriors
"I think it's going 7 games." That Celtics team made the Warriors look tired, old, and slow in the fourth quarter. They basically gave up on their home court and a 12 point deficit got flipped the other way. If the Warriors go down 2-0 it might not go 5.

"Also I’m more into white girls." Get.a.passport. Go.to.TJ. Unless there's a reason you can't go to TJ, you should really consider it. Just do yourself a favor. I'm of the opinion you can find high mileage just about anywhere, because I do, but you've got a really nice situation nearby you should try. The white girls will still be there, despite what all the hand wringers are saying these days.

"Why would strippers know people at inspections" That's a question, right? Aren't you a gearhead? Not today, sexy lady.

Talk with your stripper friends. One of them will probably know a guy who can pass your car.

Have you ever purposely visited a club on a night when your fave was not there?
It depends on how obvious the link is between the customer and the dancer. At the club where I used to see my ATF #3, about 10-15 years ago now, one day I was at the club and she wasn't around. There was a very hot older dancer who looked like Courtney Cox with a better body. I'd always wanted to get lap dances with her but ATF3 was the ATF for a reason. As hot as she was, which was very, she wasn't discreet. Not at all, and besides other customers constantly asking me how much I was paying the other dancers were basically assuming they had no chance at my money. So I get to talking with Courtney and buy her a drink, then ask for dances. She looks confused and says "you know I don't do dances like Bambi right?" I told her not to worry about that and I was good with whatever she was comfortable with. Nothing spectacular in the mileage department, but she gave some pretty nice dances.

"I especially don't understand the strippers who come over and introduce themselves with their stripper name and immediately tell me their real name or what they claim is their real name." The academic term for it is "confidence game". Build a connection and separate customers from more of their money.

"@Call.Me.Ishmael So far you look like you're the most reasonable guy on this thread." What were you expecting? Somebody we've never heard of posts an article like a CJKent drive by with no context? Were you trying to start a conversation? A conversation is easy to start with something like "What do you guys think?" "There's nothing wrong with a stripper posting an article like that" Nobody said there was. And you were pretty much given a pass by everyone, even desertscrub. Somebody covered this already, but from the looks of your profile you're trying to drum business. Which is cool. We're all here and some of these dudes are probably into feet (or will buy just about anything lol). But leaving everyone guessing what you're getting at isn't a super helpful way to introduce yourself...being optimistic that your actual goal wasn't to lecture a bunch of strangers with an Internet link.

"It resulted in an uncomfortable (to me) text exchange." You're a customer. You get to shop around. Communication with your fav(s) is important. That doesn't mean they won't cause drama, but at least they'll know they can't try the guilt line on you. "But there were no long-term repercussions." If the money stays on that's usually the way it goes.

    Clubbing vs. Mongering
The question was if we would rather shop online, go to the club, or hunt in the wild. My answer was go to the club, because it's really not that hard for me to find something workable there. And I enjoy not knowing what's behind door number 3. Just the other day I threw a few hundred bucks down a dry hole in front of a fellow TUSCLer and shrugged it off. Shit happens. Then got an OTC play a little later when I wasn't even trying. That's why I club, because I get bored with sure things. But I also live in driving distance of three towns with a lot of options. Don't ask a question if you're going to get all pissy when someone answers it in a way you don't agree with.

    New Site is coming soon...
As a workaround, if you want clubs in the same city just search for it on the TUSCL site, pick a club in the city you want, then click on the city name in the listing. That will bring up an option for a list or map view like the old city search.

    Clubbing vs. Mongering
I thought this was going to be a thread to talk about the differences between clubbing and mongering. I'd rather club, because to me if I'm outside of the clubs then I might as well be looking for a regular hookup. If I think she's a civvie and she turns out to be working? It's happened.

Just PM people with recent reviews and see if they'll help you out. That would've taken you a couple minutes longer than setting yourself up for abuse on the public forum.

Is inflation impacting local club attendance?
Not to start a debate here, but did people just suddenly start aging and eventually dying? These things run in cycles and macroeconomics is a thing. When I was young in the club, there were a bunch of old dudes spending money I didn't have. Now that I'm less young there are still old dudes spending money I don't have lol but I do ok. I hold my own. Or rather I go to clubs so someone else can hold it. Ba-Dum-Bump. Tss
