I think you are overthinking most of these issues, but kudos for wanting to be well informed and prepared. Keep in mind that club norms vary dramatically by geography, and even within the same city.

I seldom go to HL, but I never tip those guys or the bathroom troll. Sometimes they hover at your seat expectantly, but I just ignore them. I don’t think it affects where they seat me, and if I don’t like my seat I move anyway.

You have likely been blocked, and pissed her off in the process, so you can kiss goodbye your OTC opportunity. I posted a thread some time ago complaining about ghosting by strippers, and the predominant response was “why are you surprised? She’s acting like most every other stripper!” If you can’t work your charm ITC to get her to want to see you OTC, you’re fucked, and not in the way you were hoping.

Nice thread bump…. It was weird seeing my post from 6 years ago, fearing how retirement would impact my mongering. Well I’ve now been retired for a year and a half and it has totally fucked up my freedom to travel alone, which was how I maintained most of my SC and OTC activity. Getting older and fatter is just icing on the cake <sarcasm>.

Curves has the best looking dancers, in my humble opinion, and you can have reasonable fun there with the right girl. It’s just north of downtown, and not far from the freeway. Sketchy neighborhood at night, but I think they have parking lot security. Some like Raider’s Reef on the east side, but it seems kind of divey to me. Ten’s and Love Cabaret (formerly TD’s East) on Speedway are sad shells of what they used to be. Venom used to be known as a UHM club, but I think the talent there is marginal. There used to be a club down by the airport, part of the Christie’s chain, but I’ve always heard it sucks. I don’t think the drive to Nogales, Sonora is worth the trouble. But, YMMV and to each his own. Tucson does have a pretty active AMP scene if that’s your thing, but you will need to research that on other websites.

Perfect 10 in RoundRock is north of Austin, probably closer to where you will be. I’ve had reasonable fun there, but it’s been a few years since my last visit. I found SA clubs to be pretty boring, but have limited expertise. There is a ton of local Texas info on eccie.net.

A lesson I’ve learned over and over, after many years in this hobby. Dancers seldom last more than a few years in a single club, and it can be tough to find them if they change clubs. I’ve been fortunate with a few very long term favorites (10 years +), but they are the exception, not the rule.

The movie Breach tells the story of Hanson’s spy activity while he was with the FBI, and how he was ultimately caught. Chris Cooper plays his character, and the dude definitely had some sexual issues, like videotaping sex with his wife without her knowledge, and seeing strippers, hookers, etc. The story of how he was caught is classic spy stuff within the FBI. Supposedly the material he sold to the Russians was some of the most damaging in US history. Glad to hear he’s dead so my tax dollars don’t pay another penny to keep him alive.
