Rejected review and my message to founder
Muddy, sorry about the 167 rejections. For consolation, I'll nominate you for the Jean-Paul Sartre award for posting the most sarcastic thread.

    Worthy of a review ?
@Liwet- The standard for review to be published (in place since May, I think) is 5 "looks", of which 3 must hit the green "Publish" dot. So even if the 1st 3 publishers voted to publish, it must get 2 more "looks" to be published. Thus you will always see 5 votes- may go 5-0, 4-1, or 3-2 in favor of submitted review.

Two hours !!?? Damn, dude, you're a pushover. If I have absolutely no interest in dancer - 1) I'm not going to buy her a drink. 2) I won't let her cockblock me for more than a song. I saw no mention of stage shows or tipping in your review. Have you ever considered approaching interesting dancer stage tipping, and expressing interest for time with her after her set ? Even if some dancers already taken, were other dancers even remotely interesting ? If no good interactions happen within 30 - 45 minutes, I would have baled and gone to another club along/near NW Highway. Miss Devonshire is there a seperate VIP area away from main floor ? Does regular stage rotation pass through VIP section, or would stage shows there be hit and miss with only dancers going back there to solicit dances/convo time only ? That might partially explain his lack of dancer attention.

Rejected review and my message to Founder
Papi, thanks for C&P'ing the guidelines. I see them as a good general template, but not one that must be rigidly adhered to. "Four solid paragraphs"? A lot of times 3 solid paragraphs will float my boat, but a single 4 line paragraph ain't gonna cut it. Layout ? Rather than give dimensions, how about some unique features like if a particular spot is too drafty or stuffy. Or under certain conditions a lousy view of the stage show ? Is ATM located away from high traffic path, or can everyone walking by see ATM code you entered. And so on. For me, review should be dancer and cost centric. Not just regurgitate boilerplate club info, but things like do dancers give volume per dance cost discount for buying multiple dances. VIP costs, plus nagging add ons like being hit up for dancer drink. Or once there if dancer hits one up for additional tips to get more than airdance. Change over time for cover charge increase, cutoff time for free admission ? On drinks, is there big upcharge for called drinks ? I'll cut slack if some checklist items are missing, but the other areas better be strong. @rick dugan- Who were you replying to wrt troll empowerment.?Did you ever consider adding "cotton candy review" to Tuscl glossary ?

Wall, you just made a case for keeping the check box system. I've seen so many flaky reviews squeak by with 3-2 votes, that I bet some snowflake clicked the approve before reject voter could finish their comment, thus putting marginal review over the top.

    Update
OWG should submit this as an article rather than review. Someone who says they enjoy steak dinners doesn't necessarily want a herd of cattle deposited on their front lawn. You get the same VIP credit either way

when did you get your first cell phone?
I got mine in 1999, and was chided by some relatives for finally catching up with the times. A lawyer who I was using at the time (1987) had a car phone. One quirk about the early car phones was that conversation would bleed over to FM radios in my hotel room when tuned to upper frequencies. Guy was talking about a chick he was going to bang later that night.

    Not a great 1st visit
Not flawed, getting LD's raison d'etre for going to club for many patrons. Omitting that would be like trying to sell me a otherwise solid car with a wheel or 2 missing. Comprende ?

    The never ending thread.
Pretty much agree with DTS. I prefer the old way of breaking down members profile by reviews, threads started by member, posts, and articles by member. It's a pita to wade through a bunch of posts to find a thread someone may have started, or an article that they wrote.

    Surprised by a top-rate visit!
Mongo, this long submission (I'm reluctant to call it a review) is nothing more than a rant by an arrogant prick. Doesn't really convey info, no idea what dancers are like (eg, any thick dancers for papi, or model thin fair skin gingers for JS69). If club shill sets AC at 70F, he was only ~ 1/100 C off on his conversion. Pick up your game, shill.

    Not a great 1st visit
Njb- Submitting a review without getting LD would be like a car magazine reviewer submitting a report on a car without driving it. OP said he'd come back when he has more time. If I were a car magazine editor, I'd tell that weenie to submit article when he has time for actual test drive. Comprende ??

IME, chicks under 25 seem to have some ink (maybe not suicide girl level, but those without ink in the minority), and favor rap music.

s-shot- Read the glossary- LDK named after a tuscler, meaning to splooge in your pants as a result of a lapdance. I know Mons doesn't have VIP room, used that term to denote betting a few Benjamins on veracity of review.

This review is shorter than a rat's dick, and so generic. I'd be willing to bet the price of a VIP that this (and other of his reviews) were made up without him setting foot in the club. (at least not recently). Looking over past reviews are basically a story on how he LDK'd. Shurshot, was there ever a time mons didn't have a cover charge ? Always been one since the early 90's.

    Early Spring Visits
Tuesday edit- Original wording misleading. Price points should have read "4 dances to get $25 per dance price point, NOT 4 dances for $25. Ditto for the 2 dances (needed to get 2 dances to get the $25 per dance price).

Timing of club visits vs. those in reviews
Rick, I haven't noticed a daytime review bias in the clubs that I go to (i.e., majority or a very large plurality of reviews are daytime.) Although the first Mons Venus review page (12 reviews) was 50/50 day vs night. I think you may have just goaded me into suggesting another website redesign for Founder to tinker with. I propose that by time of visit, place a big colored dot or triangle with yellow denoting day hours, blue denoting evening hours, and black denoting post midnight hours. That makes for a quicker scan. Of course I'd leave the printed hours after the color coded dot for the benefit of Tuscl members who might be color blind from jacking off to too much porn.

    Recruitment of Dancers to TUSCL
We live in the information age in case you haven't noticed. There's a thing called search engines. Horses have survived for many centuries without being led to water. They have also passed many watering holes that they didn't feel like drinking. 'Nuf said.

I'm not sure exactly what Founder was annoyed at- the individual who trolled Serge, or another complaint that Founder put to bed in a recent thread started by Founder. My impression is that he wants Tuscl to be a low maintenance site.

    Quirky Strip Club Regulars
Not quirkier, but at Mons Venus, there's an older bearded guy known as the Candy Man. I've never seen him buy dances, but he camps out with various candies laid out, often 2 or 3 dancers hang out with him. Same club, someone different occasionally shows up who gives dancers back rubs, or massages their feet. Several years ago when I had business trips to San Diego, there was this guy who had a spanking fetish, and would buy dances with a dancer just to spank her. (Cheetahs- San Diego)

    Shill Empowerment Acts
T100 was an imperfect system with several inherent flaws exacerbated by input by many biased people. One flaw being the minimum number of reviews threshold. (I seem to recall that it was 40 reviews.) So a club in isolated area with 40 high grade reviews authored by 10 inexperienced local only reviewers could be #100 on list while other clubs with 100's of reviews, many by more seasoned reviewers (been to many clubs in different locales) would not make the cut. Also, people have different biases/priorities. Someone who simply likes to unwind, have a few drinks surrounded by great eye candy would rate a club like Cheetahs- Atlanta very highly, while avid extras seekers would steer well clear of club. Personally if I were making a trip somewhere, I'd want some attractive non clubbing activities to be available. Then I might look at overall scores, picking clubs with the top 2 to 6 scores (depending on size of city), and then delving into reviews to read between the line for more focused info.

Don't sweat it wall, I've seen some reviews slip through that I thought you accidentally hit the "publish review" bar.
