Surprised by a top-rate visit!

Gents! I have good news. The reports of the demise of the Playhouse are wayyy exaggerated. As a longtime visitor, I'd kept away figuring it wasn't worth wasting a trip and the time if there was nothing going on there. But in the spirit of the explorers who journeyed to the North Pole "because it's there," and in order to provide a complete and accurate report to the rest of you readers who are home wringing your hands (or whatever it is you're wringing!), I journeyed to the 'House to see what the real deal is.

On this day, I visited with just one dancer, a long-time but occasional dancer named Alexa. I'm certainly not a regular of hers. Actually I don't remember dancing with her ever before, but who knows? Point is, she's not someone I'd have expected to give me any 'special treatment' from during this time of uncertainty.

She was as cooperative, engaged, and energetic as just about any PH dance I've ever had. Things took a while this particular day, and she took things seriously, even employing a move or two that I'd have worried about even when things weren't supposedly "hoochy." Kneeling, reclining, lots of creative moves that I definitely didn't expect to see if things were on super secret watch alert. This was not air! This was the real deal, and I was (pleasantly!) surprised. One turn away from the camera, but not much in the way of 'don't do this, can't do that.'
