OT: Your screen name

Tetradon
I'll act nicer if you'll act smarter.

What's the origin of your screen name? Contrary to popular belief, mine does not come from "tetrahedron." Tetradon is another name for puffer fish toxin, I was researching its use to treat pain when I created my account.

It's been a long time since we've had one of these threads, my screen name came about after all of my original attempted names came back as used by someone else, finally in frustration I typed in Twentyfive< you know for the twenty fifth time and it was accepted so I just ran with it.

I don't actually live in London, I just happened to be there when I registered. I live on the edge of the Cotswolds, for those that know England's 'green and pleasant land'.

Everyone asks if I am former military. No, I'm not. Never served. My handle is my high school mascot and my high school jersey number. I had that same number for both football and basketball all four years. That was a LONG time ago.

I'm more of a Lilith fangirl, but not a lot of people know her story, and I give Eve hella credit for opening herself and the rest of humanity up to follow what's in our nature. Eve's been my NSFW handle for years - in the club and other places.

,One of my main hobbies is fly fishing. Osprey would have been too obvious.

I was young and immature and thought this to be a funny play on words based on the show Crank Yankers that was popular at the time. Now it’s my handle on sex-related sites. I just don’t care enough to change it.

It's my middle name. The g stands for gentle, or 'good for me, I discovered lap dancing'.

After 25 years of going to sea and visiting plenty of entertainment districts around the world I thought it was a play on words that I quite literally and figuratively earned my nickname. Plus at the time, I thought that it was unusual enough to not be in use, I've always have wondered how SaltyNutz created his nickname.

Prior screen name had potential of revealing my identity to dancers based on reviews I wrote on local clubs, so I changed it (though no idea if dancers actually read the reviews here). In reviews, you have the option to state what you spent at club or you can "Decline To State". I found that humorous.

;) During the popular hip hop 90’s, rapper, The Notorious B.I.G. aka. Biggie smalls. A girl friend of mine in school called me that. The name stuck.

"though no idea if dancers actually read the reviews here". Some do. My screen name was meant to be a throwaway to get some info on local clubs, but then I was traveling so much I started writing reviews. Some of them I even finished.

Was at "The Ritz" in Houston years ago and my coworker emerged from a hidden door which I presumed was the exit of the VIP. Told my other coworker about it and it became a running joke that our buddy emerged from a trapdoor. That soon became our codename for "strip club" and we made a pact that if we ever opened a bar/club, we would name it "The Trapdoor". My avatar is just something I found online and unrelated.

Due to a physical characteristic...... I can hit a golf ball 300 yards... what else would you think?
  • wallanon
"what else would you think?" That you weigh 300lbs and have oddly long balls? But golf is a thing for lots of people so I guess there's that.
  • Eve
^ Maybe one of his balls is 300lbs itself and that's why it's so long, because the weight makes it hang way down low. (But it's like having his own seat cushion all the time!)

Nidan11. It is the rank I achieved in my martial arts career, after which i decided that all Black belt ranks are political bullshit. Thus, the rank at which I decided to quit “testing” for said ranks in a hobby that I thought was pure and bullshit free.

Mine is a reference to my line of work. I worked in discounted cash flow creation and analysis for many years in banking. It seemed to attract strippers and whores when I posted on other sites using this name. I guess they thought I had lots of cash?
  • wallanon

"I guess they thought I had lots of cash?" Bank robbers also specialize in "discounted cash flow creation and analysis" and some girls like that sort of thing, right? Think we've discovered the secret of Cash's success!

I named myself after a thirties pulp fiction character. He preceded later comic book characters like Superman and Batman and was an influence on the the development of those characters. His pulp fiction stories were reprinted in the seventies as paperbacks and I read a large number of them as a teenager.

-->@Eve: ^Is your Gollum gif a hint to your identity? Nah, I just think Gollum is funny. I suppose it communicates an unintended (and inaccurate) creepy vibe though. My prior avatars were chicks surfing naked - I'll prob swap it out again for a naked chick at some point.

"I suppose it communicates an unintended (and inaccurate) creepy vibe though." Lol. That awkward moment of self-reflection. But really, Gollum could turn hisself invisible. You know he was backstage at da club gettin' his precious on.

I just liked the name. Saw it on a list of angelic names (Angel of Invention) and due to its uniqueness, named my WoW characters after her. The prior name I used back when I was a teenager got banned on Reddit so I've started to use this name in most places I go online.

Nina was my stage name and I wanted something cute to go with it that sounded catchy, thus Ninabambina was born. That explanation is a little disappointing since nina and bambina are the words for child in spanish and italian.

Mine came up from the acronym RL (Real Loser) that someone on some site years ago called guys who visited strip clubs and escorts. RL was already taken, so I just added a random number at the end until it was accepted.
