TUSCL allows others to become strip club gods like ourselves. Without TUSCL, we would start to stand out but I think we might also get treated like royalty among friends and strippers alike. Of course, with more strip club newbies, dancers would expect more money for less which would be a slog to deal with.

I enjoy coming here reading some of the discussions and posting when I have time on average 2 or 3 times a week but if the site disappeared I would mainly miss reading the reviews.

But if TUSCL goes down I am thankful that I have the pompous SJCreep's lifeboat website to relieve me of my despair. LMAO!!!!

I'd be quite bored during those 'looking at phone' periods. I used to spend all that time looking at Facebook and Instagram, but now this place is stop #1. I'd definitely miss all the different discussions and varying opinions from all the regulars on here. I'd absolutely miss the daily reviews, as that alone is great reading material for hours. Thankfully from this forum I have a list of great clubs to try out in different areas, but I doubt I'd find a place as great as this to get the inside scoop on every one of them.

Sounds pathetic, but I've grown quite fond of this place and all the regulars I see here. Well, most of them at least. Still don't care to join any site recommended by SJG but I have taken down Papi's side email at least. If this place were to vanish I'd probably go back to looking at FB and Instagram, and maybe Reddit.

With few exceptionsI have found the discussion forum rather boring lately.

I rarely do the escort thing, as most of the traveling talent that comes through here is too expensive and most of the local talent is beneath my standards. But I like to check to see what's available once in a while, in case a literal 1-in-5000 pops up.

Yesterday I went to Eros to see what kind of talent was coming through. Force of habit kind of thing. Saw one that looked good, then realized as I scrolled to her number -- oh yeah. Usual process was to Google the number and see if she was on TER, then check the reviews. Not on TER, might be a fake or a sting, do not call. Bad reviews, not reliable, do not call.

But yeah, no more TER.

I Googled a couple numbers anyway and, for one, a TER link did show up in Google, but clicking on it took you to the 'blocked in America' page.

It occurred to me that the death of these kinds of sites would be exactly that: Like things just kind of stopping in time.

There was a lot of knowledge to be drawn from TwoSheds: Which clubs had curtains still up, what places were remodeling, what dancers were hot, if you could track down any dancer you saw the last time you were out, etc. Now, that's just all gone.

It occurred to me that it's not the mongers like us, who have been at it for some time, that would suffer if TUSCL went away, at least not at first. It would be the new mongers. The guys who won't know which cities offer more than others, what can happen in Detroit, how to at least broach the topic of OTC without getting yourself kicked out of the club, etc. Over time, we'd suffer, too. Things change. Clubs close or remodel. New clubs open. You won't know if they're any good unless there's a way to compare notes.

I dunno. It just sucks. I feel like I've learned a lot from clubbing. I've been smart and learned a lot, although some of it came from being dumb sometimes, too. I've had the greatest times of my life. Met so many amazing women. Was able to find out what worked and didn't work in terms of a lot of things and took a lot of knowledge out of the club. Have had so much fun. 95 percent of the dances have been awesome. Worth almost every penny. It seems so odd that this can be seen as so wrong.

Having people impose values upon you, when you know no one's hurting you and you're helping others (back to my mantra of "smell nice, dress nice, tip well") is just tremendously depressing. Clubbing helped me get over an upbringing where overly restrictive values were regularly imposed on me and taught me to enjoy myself, to feel comfortable around women and to be nice and considerate to those who society might shun, which I think is a worthwhile value.

And it's all going away because a group of people that isn't even the majority, even though they've had most of the power for most of the history of this country, felt a little slighted by the fact a guy with a different racial makeup was in charge for a while and now feels the need to go on a power trip in revenge.

It just doesn't seem right.

Tuscl has been entertaining for sure, even when some trolls came through. What I'd miss is the platform to be able to discuss topics related to everything SCing and getting advice. Where else would I find besides the SC where like minded guys dissect SCing, but have extensive experience.

I have learned alot about SCing from tuscl, but as crazy as it sounds I never knew you could just leave a hotel room without checking out at the front desk. So I'm proud to say I learned that as it helps with my paranoia and OTC.

I would miss the reviews a lot. I still use this site extensively for review data, especially when I am planning trips. For all of its flaws, including shill reviews and crap posts, this place is hands down the best source for SC intel on a national level. I seriously don't want to even contemplate turning back the clock 20+ years and going back to the old ways of compiling intel on clubs.

This Discussion board disappearing, OTOH, would be no great loss to humanity. ;)

I'm sorry the disappearance of any single website, even TUSCL, will have no significant impact on my life. Seriously, we went from the mid-70s through maybe 2008 without the need to check every website daily? Yeah, you had e-mail, some companies had shareware CRM, and so on. It wasn't until around 2008 that the cloud debuted and so much of our work migrated online that the landscape of the American workplace began to become virtual. I believe that those of us old to have been living, playing, and working before the internet could still carry on without it.

Well this thread is 4.5 years old but since it was bumped i'll comment. Since I come around a few times a week it should be obvious that I have some attraction/fondness for the site but if were to go poof tomorrow my life would go on just fine.

I’d groan that my main source of club reviews would have to be from strippers…where the ratio of good quality to bad is like 1:5 or something like that.
