100 Percent with you. They call it Floriduh, but honestly they didn't give in to the panic like some states, they have the castle doctrine, and now they are fighting back against this garbage. And personally, I think it's cool cruising around and occasionally seeing a gator hanging out.

He is correct in all details, although my last visit there was two years ago, so pre-Covid. Sounds like the same rules. I went there solely to sit at the stage and be able to say I ate a piece of pie while I was watching some pie. It was cheesy but fun for 15 minutes. As I recall, I was able to tip right there while eating.
The girls were neighborhood cute but not glamour stripper cute and friendly enough. The main stage is in the dining room, and they had a separate lap dancing area back in 2019 but it was just a side room that was fairly open. The no hands rule was strictly enforced back then too.

Seems highly unlikely that a person running from the law would tell random strangers in a club about that. Sounds more like they thought sounding "edgy" would sell more dances.

Yeah, I got a feeling you might see some clubs get shut down because a dancer decides a lawsuit will be her payday, wins the suit, and then the club just closes it's doors. Unintended consequences from something like this could be huge. There was an attempt to force unionize home health care workers a while back.
This might also be a swing at them.

This law was aimed at dragging Uber and Lyft and some other of those companies into the fold for the unions. When you get Uber or Lyft you get all their many thousands of drivers in one shot. Strip clubs with the exception of the Deja Vu and Rhino chains are individual businesses. They will have to go after them one by one. They will be much further down the list of places that get the knock on the door because they represent fewer individuals for the effort needed to run them down.
The feds want big. The unions want big.

It's sample math. Have starved migrants lured in with promises of free food and welfare checks take up less cubic footage. You get more new voters brought in per vehicle this way.
As for the Cuomo thing, it's not indicative of a sea change in NY political thought. He's apparently been pissing people off for years, but until they knew they had Trump out of office they needed him. Now they don't need him so they can put the knives to him and pave the way for the far more woke DeBlasio. They don't suddenly care about the truth, they just care less about Cuomo because the elections are over.

Faucci also wants double masking and was saying the vaccine won't get you out of the mask. Sometimes he mentions getting back to normal. Other times he says it will be mostly normal. Or sometimes we just need to flatten the curve.
You trust Faucci all you want. Me, I'm going with that groundhog Punxatawney Phil. At least he can only give you two different answers to the same question.

Our universities have been on a very Anti-Israel/Pro-Palestine kick for about a decade. With so many newly landed North African immigrants assaulting Synagogues and Churches on top of the personal assaults I could see their blaming us. But our leftists learned it in the 60's studying abroad with French, German, Italian, and Russian "scholars". Looks like they don't like how their philosophical "grand children" turned out.
