How did your friends say the conversation went while you were at the ATM? I know they pulled their phones out but somebody must have tried to converse. I wonder if something happened while you were gone that soured things.

I'll act nicer if you'll act smarter.
A web search in the early 2000's. But I lurked until 2020. There was a hyper local website for LA that had my interest for mist of the 'oughts so I was slow to come over.

You'll never win the battle to keep customer cell phones off the floor. Just like nice restaurants, movie theaters, and <insert venue of choice> the person with customer status is going to get away with a ton of rude behavior because that's whose dollar is being chased.
As far as your less savvy colleagues at the club are concerned, let them be stupid and lazy. It gives you first pick of all the gentleman with little competition. I suspect that at some point the more aware dancers will realize you consistently make more than they do and ask you what your secret is. Maybe you could charge them a consultant fee to "mentor" them?

Body weight distribution in a dance is spread across a fair portion of the customer's lap except for few specific moves. That goes a long way towards keeping things comfortable.
I suspect the reticence you've detected by thin customers is more likely a case of "birds of a feather flocking together".

If your near a military base it should be busy-ish. They aren't going to work the next day and their family is probably three states away. So unless they burned leave time they aren't going home. And the chow hall is cooking so they ain't prepping that.
Since the customers are there, the strippers should be.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
Anheuser Busch has a long relationship with Qatar. They control much of the drink distribution for non hard liquors. Qatar's deal is you keep it inside the specifically licensed western hotels.
AB knows this. They've been there at least a decade. If you are a legal foreign resident of Qatar you can apply for a license to shop at state monitored alcohol and pork shop. Based on your reported income you will be allowed a specific quantity per month which you can keep in your home. The more highly paid you are tye larger the amount.
Qatar wants foreign investment and for foreign diplomats to view it as the Switzerland of the middle east. So they make plenty of exceptions. All you have to do is keep it behind closed doors.

Icee you are way off base. Gun point robberies are very specific cases where lethal force is perfectly justified.
Your attempt to conflate theft with robbery is intellectually dishonest. Theft involves non-confrontational stealing. No confrontation- no chance of the innocent victim getting killed.
Robbery always involves a confrontation. Since the suspect is threatening the safety of the victim there is perfectly legitimate right to use that level of force against the criminal.
Period.

California roads can be pretty rough. If you are in a passenger vehicle/pick up/smaller Uhaul stay out of the right two lanes. The big rigs must Stat in those by law and those heavy loads take their toll.
The city of LA surface streets are pretty ugly for the most part. The local cities vary in how bad or good the roads are.

Allow me to retract that statement. I clicked on the wrong profile. My bad. With only one review no way to really know right now if it's legit or not.

I'm not normally one to defend the scrubster, but in this case our "Out of towner" Friend has 89 reviews. EVERY SINGLE ONE is from a Portland club. That does smell a little fishy....

Getting the opportunity to see Russia go to war without actually being shot at has been a gold mine for US intelligence. And if the Russians want to buy equipment from their allies for us to observe up close even better. Especially the Iranian drones. It's been a massive cash outlay, but we have been able to proof our equipment against one of our closest competitors for no risk to US lives. That's the purely cynical side of this.
I have no idea why Joe Biden cared now, he didn't care when Obama was in charge. It was just an opportunity for him to grift on behalf of his kid.
On a personal note, I like seeing numerous independent countries around the globe stay independent. No one cares about your country as much as you do if you live there. So I'm a huge proponent of self-government. I hope the Ukrainians make it. I hope they are smart enough to steer clear of the EU once they don't need their weapons.
Putin as a leader did some good stuff for his people. He did some corrupt stuff to his people. Since he never ran for office in the USA, it's not really my problem. Then he started believing his own propaganda and swallowing up a bunch of former territories. That game only lasts so long. Now he's paying the price. Again, as a fan of local level independent governance, I'm glad to see the Ukrainians standing up. But I would be just as happy if it were Tibet shaking off the Chinese or Iraq separating into three countries that could each worry about their own people.
On a final note, I do enjoy the videos. And no, I won't apologize for that.

By "Biker chick" do you mean a chick who rides a Harley or a chick who is likely hanging out with dudes riding Harleys who also sport various "Outlaw" style leathers and tattoos. The first one sounds like fun, the second I got no interest in. The outlaw crews can be unpredictable.

I don't know as soon as Fred Sanford pulled out his fake heart attack distraction he might just catch Al off guard. But personally, I would go clubbing with Archie Bunker. Sitting next to him, I would look good. And Archie could bring Meathead along to drive us home afterwards.

They never tell you what you need to know.
A number of things are driving used prices higher.
The chip shortages for the electric brains in New cars has shrunk that supply.
A lot of newer vehicles are developing reputations for being unreliable as car makers are cutting any corner they can to achieve the newest CAFE fuel standards. These CVTs for instance are developing a horrible reputation.
That drives many folks to look for older vehicles that developed a reputation for reliability.

If you want to instantly be the topic of conversation in that club for the next month just tell her your a detective for the local PD. Bring a little fake plastic badge to add some juice.
That whole club will know who you are in 30 seconds, and they will remember you for long after.

You asked "Should customers be required to pay part of an employee's wages?" You must be new at this economics thing. Businesses get their money from customers. You always pay the employees wages. You pay the owner, you pay his utility bills, his taxes, everything.
The point of tipping years ago was that it was not compulsory and therefore incentivized better service from the employees who were face to face with customers. As the custom of tipping became socially compulsory, business owners realized they could keep advertised prices lower by not raising wages and letting you make up the difference. You know you're on the hook for that extra percentage when you walk through the door, but you don't blame the business owner for what is essentially an additional fee now.
That model changes slightly in the clubs were most dancers are essentially independent contractors who operate on a "piece work" system with a price schedule set by the business even though it may not be enforced. While the concept of paying more for better service certainly applies, the dynamic is more like negotiating with a contractor building your deck or hiring a gardener or a consultant for a specific project.

LA clubs had a no contact rule imposed before Covid that really hurt them. I think it applied just to stages and maybe main floor dances. I had quit going to LA clubs before it was imposed so I didn't bother to get the details. But there is not a single religious zealot on that council. But the woke zealots can be just as crazy.

The important words are Louisiana National Guard. National Guardsman are owned by the state unless the FEDS snatch them up for a deployment. That mean state rules for time in service, promotions, up our out type stuff. Each state will set it's own rules. Looking at his haircut he was an NCO and changed over to the officer track to make a little better retirement for himself.

If she walks away smiling, you spent too much.
The FEDS put a law in place quite a while ago that says boarding an airplane or other vessel with the intent to conduct an act that would be illegal if it was done in the States counts as a concrete step toward committing that crime and thus you can be tried here if they find out about it. It was put in place for the Asian Sex tour thing but I'm sure they would happily apply it to any other crimes that became a hot topic.

It's not far from Camp Lejeune, that makes the pricing double odd as military paychecks are not going to cover that kind of spending very often. Although that 10 minutes for 150 could be construed as the Miltary Special. I suppose on the 15th and 30th of each month they could make their profit and then just get by the rest of the month?
