It's not very safe to walk at night, but I've never been stopped on Niños Héroes walking from HK to Ticuan with hundreds of trips under my belt. If you take a taxi, you shouldn't have to pay more than $5 from HK back to Ticuan. It's perfectly safe to walk to HK from Ticuan during the day. Just be careful with the pinche policia, especially if you are carrying any drugs on you.

Nah, not really true. I've been in La Zona a lot lately and the street girls are dressed pretty much like they were before. Talent is pretty good in HK.
