President Trump's historic Presidency

Monday, December 14, 2020 6:38 AM
This wonderful man is truly an inspiration for all, and his historic Presidency has been one of if not the best in US history. Its certainly the best in any of our lifetimes. Trump is just an ordinary self-made man who got up one day, decided to run for President, and actually won. This in spite of every unfair tactic in the book being used against him in 2016 including most likely fraud in favor of Hillary. Yet he still won, becoming the first "ordinary" citizen to become President without holding prior political office or having government experience. The media doesn't like to point put how truly historic that accomplishment was. But the story doesn't end there. His Presidency itself has seen unprecedented accomplishments. Of course accomplishment number one was the pre-scamdemic Trump Economy. Its not exaggeration to state the pre-Covid Trump economy was the greatest economy in US history and possibly in world history. After the Bush era economic collapse followed by 8 years of Obama era malaise, the economy under President Trump reached heights unprecedented in US and probably world history. Calling the economy under Trump in his first three years the greatest in human history would be far from hyperbole. Yet this man's amazing accomplishments don't stop there. Every President since Reagan has presided over new foreign wars until President Trump. Trump has actually brought some troops home from these Middle East hell holes while simultaneously increasing respect for the power and soft diplomacy of the US in the region. The numerous peace treaties that have been signed this year in the Mid-East, with little mainstream US media coverage, show the amazing diplomatic skill of this man. As if prosperity and peace weren't enough, however, or bringing back manufacturing and negotiating fairer trade deals, perhaps his greatest achievement has been reducing the refugee flow to almost nothing. Most "refugees" are coming for job opportunities and welfare not because they are actually in danger. Of all immigrant groups they are the worst because the get far more government benefits than any other category and are often some of the most anti-American once they are here (those from certain countries excepted like Cuba or Venezuela of course). All these magical accomplishments have been achieved against the backdrop of absolutely unprecedented unfairness from the governmental establishment, constant media slander and systematic demonization, opposition from the elites of both parties, and well financed "resistance" to try to prevent him from having any success. When all this didn't work and the man appeared to be on track for a landslide re-election last February, a minor illness was blown out of all proportion and used as a justification to shut down the greatest economy the world had ever seen, followed by weeks of media incited race riots over a false narrative, and finally a bizarre and unprecedented mail in election with many strange circumstances and unanswered questions, and yet the man still beat polls showing he would lose by double digit margins. This man's perseverence and strength in the face of constant slander, unfairness, and organized attacks has been an inspiration for hundreds of millions of people around the world, but more than that should serve as an example to kids of what to emulate in their own lives. Not just being a super successful businessman, a charismatic entertainment figure, or the greatest President in human history, but being an inspiring role model for kids is going to be Donald J. Trump's greatest legacy.

con man /ˈkän man/ nounINFORMAL 1. a man who cheats or tricks someone by gaining their trust and persuading them to believe something that is not true. “he’s a traitor and a con-man who doesn’t care about you. Deep down you know it. I’m sure you enjoy pissing people off but you know he is a liar and a criminal.”

What flavor of Kool Aid are you using? A "minor illness" that has caused over a quarter million to die? Down playing a virus that he admitted knowing that it was going to be bad? Using "magic" to address virus issues? Denying the science of climate change while the west coast is burning and the east coast is flooding? Unnecessarily sacrificing the environment in the name of the economy? Sucking up to dictators is "soft politics?" Describing hate groups as "very fine people?" Without giving them fair hearing, declaring immigrants as not fleeing the dangers the US has created by being the biggest consumers of illicit drugs? Multiple bankruptcies? Self-made, starting with a little $100M gift from his father? Hosing down peaceful protesters with tear gas for a photo op in front of a house of worship that he doesn't believe? And most recently, his supporters setting fire to banners at Black churches to protest his failure to overturn the election by exercising the kind of fraud he claims lost him the election? Yes. Too many "accomplishments" to list.

I'm sure we haven't seen the last of President Trump. He will most certainly still use his popularity and charisma to influence the political arena. Past Presidents have largely removed themselves from politics. Even Obama seemed to embrace a more private lifestyle, other than the occasional interview or campaign speech around election time. That won't be the case with Trump. He will continue to be a constant disrupter of the DC establishment. My guess is he will still conduct massive rallies with the Democrats' anti-American policies, fake news media, and election fraud as primary targets. Don't forget that 70 million Americans wanted him back for a second term and believe they were screwed by Democrat cheating - a pretty strong movement that's not going to just blow away in the wind. In fact, after this election, they will be more motivated than ever to support a return to normalcy and common sense in this country. Americans as a whole often have a short memory, but they will again grow weary of the Democrats' radical agenda, especially under the administration that Biden is sure to put in place. I almost hope the Dems win the Senate and get everything they want. As unpleasant as that would be, it would show everyone just how nuts these people really are and seal their fate for many years to come. I think it's a "need to hit rock bottom" kind of situation for America. President Biden (or President Harris) might go hog wild for two years and then be handed the most one sided midterm election loss in history. I doubt that Donald Trump would run again in 2024. But you might just see one of his children, or a member of his inner circle, or an outsider even more outspoken and blunt than Trump himself rise to the office.

Hey Dave, Your thesis is very well written and will certainly appeal to his vanity, but if you really need a Presidential Pardon that badly, you should probably publish it in a more publicly visible forum. I mean, you've really only got like 30 days at this point.

"Don't forget that 70 million Americans wanted him back for a second term and believe they were screwed by Democrat cheating" 70 million people do not believe he was cheated. 70 million people voted for him. Most of those are straight party ticket voters. His "base" or "followers" are a much, much smaller group. I'm sure it is still measured in the millions. Maybe it reaches the tens of millions.

if the radical teachers keep having their way in the schools, then many historical events will not be acknowledged in classrooms. trump's presidency will be considered to be one of those events.

Lmao oh yeah Trump's "presidency" is historic all right.....but not for the reasons that you'd like to think. And the history books will certainly not forget Trump. They'll have a field day outlining his 4 years of incompetence, disasters and corruption. Good reading indeed!

"but more than that should serve as an example to kids of what to emulate in their own lives." Even if you consider his presidency a success, would you want your children to have that kind of character? (I'm a Republican, don't go there)

At the end of the day the last 3 elections simply proved that the United States exists in name only; killed by progressives enthralled by people who fail in life.

I believe Trump would have probably won the presidency if he had the common sense to stay of Twitter. Much of what he said and tweeted (e.g. defaming McCain) had no upside. I could not bring myself to vote for someone that lacked such common sense for the most powerful position on earth. I didn't vote for Biden either. So unfortunate, Trump could have been a great president.

No, he wasn't and couldn't have been a great president or even a marginal one. It's impossible to be great when you care only about yourself.

In the real universe there is nothing admirable about Trump, the antisocial-narcissistic character disorder and would-be demagogue. "if the radical teachers keep having their way in the schools, then many historical events will not be acknowledged in classrooms. trump's presidency will be considered to be one of those events" But take heart, Magatard Nation. There is a readily available solution. Just get Newt Gingerich to write another alt-history novel starring The Donald. "Among the many books that carry the Newt Gingrich brand [...] no fewer than six, co-authored with a prolific potboiler producer named William R. Forstchen, are contributions to the alt-hist genre. They make up a pair of loose trilogies, one set in the Civil War (the rebels win more battles than they did in real life, but still lose), the other in the Second World War (same deal with Germany and Japan). Unlike their betters, these books forgo playful speculation about how the present might be different. They’re heavy on gory battle scenes and windy pontification. Reviewing one of them, a Washington Post critic wrote, “It is torture from first to last, downright embarrassing in its clumsy prose and lurching plot.”" [view link]

How likely is it that he will be running as the Republican candidate in 2024? Has anyone ever been President twice with a four year break between the terms?

I honestly can't tell if the original post is satire or not. I mean self made sounds like a joke considering he inherited more money than he currently possesses when adjusted for inflation. Also we've elected non-politicians president before. So this has to be satire .. right?

Dude was an idiot on Twitter and along with his divisive commentary dug his own grave in this election. That said, without the Democratic lying do-nothings being able to use COVID as a big hammer he probably still would have gotten reelected despite his personality faults. No wars, bigger paychecks, energy independence, peace deals, investments doing well, vaccines in less than a year..... all that will be whitewashed by our education system in the coming years as some type of failures. Can only say that this was the first time that my own life was improved in a positive manner by changes made at the federal level. We'll how that trend goes over the next four years.

Amazing that some people give Obama credit for killing the economy and then having it come back. When will we hold all peoples to the same standard? If we did, progressives would disappear.

Funny how history is already being rewritten. "Amazing that some people give Obama credit for killing the economy and then having it come back. When will we hold all peoples to the same standard? If we did, progressives would disappear." Obama didn't kill the economy; Bush killed it fueled by the huge benefits to his buddies claiming that a piss-on-your-head economy is good for everybody.

The whole world knows, and nobody in America can deny, that Our Con-Artist-in-Chief is a criminal, a fraud, a bully, a racist, a sexual predator who doesn’t care about the people of America or the world. We all know that, for most of his life, he has been conning others for personal profit or pleasure. He should be indicted (formally accused of or charge with a serious crime) after he leaves Office if we want to show the world that in America nobody is above the law.
