Minimum wage is going up... why can't strippers have a raise too?
The prices have gone up some at my club, and thankfully, it helps take a little of the sting out from not being able to work all those months that we were closed (and subsequently taking a much lower paying job).
Gas, food, etc... all the essentials we've always had to buy are all going up. It's only right that we get a little bump toward being able to continue to afford them. 🤷🏼♀️
I'll repeat myself in saying, it truly is a luxury past time- not exactly a bargain shopper's dream.🤪💋🔆

First of all, I'm flattered by such high praise from two distinguished and undistinguished, world travelers and experienced mongers! Maybe even blushin' a little...😊
I know that Lust doesn't compare to some of the more illustrious establishments you two have visited, but it's also nowhere near the bottom of the barrel.
I just think it might be nice to view it through the eyes of a regular without putting in the time, effort, and money typically required to become one. That way, it doesn't feel like just another club in your travels because you don't feel like just another anonymous guy walking through the door (unless you prefer the anonymous guy treatment- and in that case, never mind cuz you don't need me then). 😜
I don't know that I'd change your mind about the place, but at least for that visit, you'd feel like the king of it! 😘

Where I'm at, it's a lot of the same mixed bag during the day. Some of the older, usual suspects have disappeared (for whatever reason) but I still see many familiar faces during the very limited time I'm there these days.
Sure do wish I had the pleasure of meeting all these millionaires everyone's talking about though! 🤑

But then I also realized you're basically recommending my club to the OP, so I guess that's nice of you? 🤷🏼♀️
I also see from your last review of it, that you didn't seem to find anyone at Lust that made your visit enjoyable enough to outweigh any of your perceived negatives, and I thought, "that's too bad." If you're ever interested in some of that flirty banter, come hang out for a bit on one of my shifts... maybe stop off at another watering hole first so you don't have to spend as much on quenching that thirst. 😉😘💋🔆

(Vixens was the club in Inwood that was comparable to Lust but is now closed.)

You know, it's funny...I don't think of any of the clubs in WV as being truly upscale only because there's such a relaxed neighborhood bar vibe in the ones I've been in or worked at.
Lust DID just get a shiny new makeover, but do any guys go to a club for the lights and decor?
Anyway, I digress...

I guess I'd say to try Elysium (also in Inwood) if you don't mind BYOB and going super late- I belive it's an after hours club.
There's also a place in Mathias called Paradise City that also seems like it might fit the bill. I've never been, but I've heard first hand stories about it that make it sound about right. 🤷🏼♀️ Also, I think they're only open on the weekends.

I have a little different perspective about stage dancing...because I only work the day shift, I don't expect a lot in the way of tipping (low expectations means I'm never disappointed!) but instead I treat every time I'm up as an opportunity to get some exercise and do one of my favorite things- dance!
Sometimes I play music for the patrons, and sometimes it's more for me. Other times, I'll ask a gentleman I'm sitting with if there's anything he'd like to hear. I don't do pole work (unless you count falling gracefully while holding onto the pole) but I have so much fun when I'm up there that it shows and often gets attention, whether it comes in the form of tips or private dance requests.
I'm grateful that I find so much enjoyment in doing the very thing we're there to do...entertain! (Not sure I could have done the job all these years if that wasn't the case.) 🔆💋😘

Why not be completely honest and let her decide? I would have great respect for someone who considered my risks above his own gratification and would be only too happy to show that respect the next time I saw him!
Also, without a negative test, I don't think there's really any way to be 100% sure it's not covid. Seems like it often presents like the common cold and where one person's symptoms may be mild, another's can be severe.
She may have kids or elderly family members around... really never know how far reaching effects can be- even if it is just a cold, no one wants one of those right now either. 🤷🏼♀️
