Looking for strip club in West Virginia that's not upscale

What’s an upscale club in West Virginia?

They have a troll in the outhouse and the strippers are only missing 4 teeth.

I haven't been to West Virginia in about 2 years but Lil Vegas outside of Fairmont was a great little non-upscale club. No extras but they have an entertaining stage show and lap dances weren't bad.

I also remember a club called JB's in WV but I don't remember what town it was in. Extras were definitely available but talent was hit or miss.

here’s what i’m trying to replicate:
back in ‘91 i was in martinsburg before the government workers started moving out there and gentrifying it.
i saw this shack/house on the side of the road with a makeshift sign indicating it was a strip club.
i went in, there were 2-3 dudes and two girls working there. The girls had bikini bottoms on.

the one girl , not a seasoned/trained stripper, could have been just a local girl around the block, she approached me after maybe 10 minutes there, i tipped her, she grabbed my hand and put it down her pants, had a nice soft bush (i’m pretty insistent on the bush)

we’ll fast forward 30 years and i have an extra room collecting dust, there must be a young girl in wv that needs a roof over her head who may barely be surviving at a strip club

I never thought of West Virginia as a place where downscale was hard to find.

If by Bunker Hill you mean Lust, then yeah that club is pretty upscale. Golden Horseshoe isn't too far away in Charles Town, and that place usually had a fairly low key neighborhood vibe kind of like a former VFW turned strip club. Haven't been in a few months, but it was my preferred place coming from Maryland. The stage show was entertaining with lots of in your face nudity, and drinks were reasonably priced, but the lap dances are $36-40 per dance (paid for upfront at register) and not really worth that price with little chance of extras.

Went to the Golden Horseshoe, definitely better than Bunker Hill, but still a bit more of a commercial feel than I like. I have to say there was one dancer who could quite possibly have been the most breathtaking woman I'd ever seen in my life.

There is a dancer (who posts here) EndlessSummer who dances in WV. She might have some suggestions?

You know, it's funny...I don't think of any of the clubs in WV as being truly upscale only because there's such a relaxed neighborhood bar vibe in the ones I've been in or worked at.
Lust DID just get a shiny new makeover, but do any guys go to a club for the lights and decor?
Anyway, I digress...

I guess I'd say to try Elysium (also in Inwood) if you don't mind BYOB and going super late- I belive it's an after hours club.
There's also a place in Mathias called Paradise City that also seems like it might fit the bill. I've never been, but I've heard first hand stories about it that make it sound about right. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also, I think they're only open on the weekends.

Also, just for the record- Lust is in Martinsburg.
(Vixens was the club in Inwood that was comparable to Lust but is now closed.)

I think your better off going to the Philly Corral in PA on I 70. It's not that far from WV and all nude. Check the Reviews.

One nice thing about the Filly Corral is that your cover charge gets you all the beer and soda you can drink - subject to potential inebriation, of course.

I wouldn't call any club I've ever been to in WV as "upscale" and that includes Lust. You can put lipstick and makeup on a pig, but it's still a pig.

I also see from your last review of it, that you didn't seem to find anyone at Lust that made your visit enjoyable enough to outweigh any of your perceived negatives, and I thought, "that's too bad." Dear EndlessSummer, if you’ve travelled all over the country, hitting some of the very best clubs the United States has to offer like the distinguished Rick Dugan, and myself (the undistinguished) you will usually be disappointed by most WV strip clubs unless YOU happen to be working that day.

I’ve had a good night here and there over the years in WV clubs (especially the clubs near Mountaineer Casino when it first opened the casino) but the times where I walked into a club in WV, and turned around and walked out far outweigh those good nights.

^Exactly why I invite him and anyone else who's ever in the area to stop by when I'm there so I can at least do my best to show how much fun my club can be! (Obviously, I feel a little protective of it...😌)

LOL shailynn. I've been at a loss as to how to respond to the "distinguished" label. I'm as meat 'n potatoes as they come. Sure I've been in some of the most beautiful and well appointed clubs in the country (Cheetah in Atlanta, Lodge in Dallas, Sapphire in NYC, Delilah in Philly, multiple gorgeous Vegas clubs, several Spearmint Rhinos, etc.), but honestly I much prefer a dive in a small southern city to almost any of them.

The problem I have with Club Lust is that its pretensions far exceed its execution. It's a semi-dive with delusions of grandeur, tourist trap pricing included. I drive up and park in a dirt parking lot, walk into a building that from the outside looks like a large shack, but then get shaken down like I just entered the Taj Mahal. Basically it's a WV strip club experience with an NYC bar tab.

But again, if anyone could change my view of the place I'm sure it's Endless. 😉

First of all, I'm flattered by such high praise from two distinguished and undistinguished, world travelers and experienced mongers! Maybe even blushin' a little...😊
I know that Lust doesn't compare to some of the more illustrious establishments you two have visited, but it's also nowhere near the bottom of the barrel.
I just think it might be nice to view it through the eyes of a regular without putting in the time, effort, and money typically required to become one. That way, it doesn't feel like just another club in your travels because you don't feel like just another anonymous guy walking through the door (unless you prefer the anonymous guy treatment- and in that case, never mind cuz you don't need me then). 😜
I don't know that I'd change your mind about the place, but at least for that visit, you'd feel like the king of it! 😘

I ran into a roadside shack like that outside of Beckley also about 25-30 years ago when the Interstates were clogged with snowstorm traffic. It was a shack out near the airport, just a low cinder block building. It had a big raised stage with chairs around the edge took up the whole space. No dancer above a 5. Incredibly dark. I could not get any attention, but the regulars (who else could they be?) in the darkest corner appeared to be getting BJ's from one girl going from guy to guy. The stage was 3 feet tall or more, so below the waist activity was well hidden.

Sometimes those hole in the wall shacks are low class gems.
