@NatiNate - It's possible that your DND didn't work because it was set to allow calls to go through if the caller places two consecutive calls to you with 15 min. That's the way it works on my phone at least. First call is blocked. Then the second call will go thru if it's within 15 min. I think it's a safety feature of sorts so that someone can reach you in a true emergency. You can disable that feature and block no matter what if that's what's gong on.
But back to the original topic at hand. You're doing the right thing, and man up.

@heaving - I don't mind an empty club either as long as there are a few girls. My best club experience ever was when I was the only customer in the club for three hours. I also dislike it when there's too much smoke and poor ventilation.
My biggest pet peeve is probably when the girls are just a bunch of ROBs. It really detracts from the experience when you have to keep fending them off, or have to screen carefully to find a girl that will give you a good experience. Once I have my guard up, it's hard to just relax and have a good time as I've become suspicious of each girl that comes up to me.

Dude, she's not your gf. What's this "trying to break up with her" stuff? She's a stripper and running a hustle. There's wrong with blocking her, but there's also nothing wrong politely telling her that it's just not working for you anymore, and that you've decided to move on. Papi can weigh in - I'm sure he would have tons to say about this.

I haven't been to clubs in many different areas - only Miami, Dallas, Vegas, and a (very) little in the DC vicinity. With regard to Muddy's impression that Miami's tops in the USA, I would tend to agree with that based on my very limited sampling, but I would also agree with skibum's warning about Cubans. But if you avoid the Cubans, or screen them carefully, you can have still have a good to great time. I will sometimes route flights through Miami just to be able to have some ground time there to go clubbing.
Dallas is friendly and the girls in the clubs can be hot. I've had good experiences in Dallas, though in Texas, they don't have as much privacy as dances are generally in open areas on the main floor, though group-room VIPs are also available. Contact in Dallas isn't as high as in Miami.
Vegas is Vegas. Everything is available, but Vegas is expensive.
DC - hard pass if you're looking for good contact. DC is the air dance capital of the world, though I've read that some PLs have had contact dances with the right girl in certain clubs. I get the impression though that this is not the norm. N. Va is also air dance - though deeper into VA you can get expensive low-mileage contact dances. From what I understand, Maryland is better than DC/N. VA, but up in Baltimore, it's expensive, and mileage tends to be low. Papi posted a review of a place in Maryland where it sounded like he had a crazy good time, but that could be due to his good looks, prowess, and powers of persuasion, though the size of his wallet might have had a little to do with it.

@25 - you might have fallen victim to the latest troll-style lawsuits. There are trolls out there hiring people with disabilities to file bogus complaints and lawsuits against business for being out of technical compliance with the ADA. They'll go out there and measure existing ramps and access points (assuming that the business has those things in the first place), and they they'll send out shake-down letters if the businesses are a hair out of compliance. These types of lawyers are the worst and should, at a minimum, be disbarred. These lawyers do nothing to advance the public interest, and are only in it for their own self interest.

@Papi - good to know about the stage tipping. I guess it does seem weird to throw $ on stage when it's so hit or miss in light of the distance. This was only my second trip ever to Toots. The girls do come down and do the rotation on the side. I dunno what the deal is with the cashier telling me it was $300 to the girl. Maybe they were colluding together to reassure me that $300 was the standard base price? I was happy with the mileage I got from the girl. It was lot higher than I would have gotten in the standard $25 dance area, so I think it was worth the extra amount. Mets razzed me for not getting extras for what I paid. Maybe I'll have to just let go of my MO of not getting extras ITC and go for it the next time I'm at Tootsies.

Friggin' SC trolls. These guys need to be shut down just like the porn trolls were. A law firm filed "John Doe" type lawsuits against IP addresses for downloading porn through bittorrent. I have Clear and TSA precheck. The combo is awesome, and you don't even need any ID. Ok ok, you give up some privacy with Clear as they fingerprint you and take iris scans for their biometric system, but the fingerprints you already have to give up to get precheck. When I go to the airport, I go to the Clear line, get biometric/boarding pass scanned, the Clear employee takes me to the front of the TSA line, and I jump the queue. I just flash my boarding pass to the TSA employee, and I'm through to the X-ray machine, and on my way to the gate within 2-3 minutes. If I take an early morning flight, the time savings is not great since the lines aren't usually long in the mornings. But in the afternoons, the time savings are significant.
Another advantage with Clear is that they've partnered with Hertz at some airports, like FLL. Hertz have these Fast Lanes with Clear systems, and those never have lines. You just drive up, scan your fingerprints, the gate opens, and you go out. No need to scan ID, provide credit card, or do any paperwork. They don't have Fast/Clear lanes at MIA, and I've waited in the queue to get out of the rental lot for 10 or 15 minutes before.

I second what Papi said. Take what other dancers say about their earnings with a (large) grain of salt. I was talking to a girl (Girl A) at a club, and we were discussing what we did the last time I was there - basically, there were only two girls that I got dances with Girl A and Girl B. I got a set of dances with Girl A, and for whatever reason, Girl B got more dances from me than Girl A. Afterwards, Girl B told Girl A that she had gotten $400 from me for dances. Girl A had only gotten about $100 from me. Girl B exaggerated to Girl A about what she had gotten from me by a factor of two - I had only given her $200, rather than $400. This isn't uncommon. It's the stripper equivalent of dick measuring.
