Going Alone
@FLOrange "How much do you think you typically need to enjoy a SC? When we went I was listening to bad advice and burned through my 260 quick." and "the private dances are 40 dollars." Dude, find a different club. $40/dance is pretty expensive. Find a place that's more like $20 or $25 a dance. If you're stuck on a girl at the $40 club, go somewhere else and you'll probably be able to find a replacement pretty easily. As for how much to bring to enjoy a SC, there are threads that have discussed this, but it's going to be based a lot on what you can afford. Some guys go pretty often and just bring $100-200. Others go less often or have deeper pockets, and bring $300-500 or even more. To have a good time, I'd say bring about $300 and manage your time and money burn rate. $260 isn't a bad amount to bring and is a reasonable amount to have a good time. You just burned through it too quickly. If you had gone to a reasonably priced club where the dances are $25/song, you could have used $60 on cover/drinks/tips, and used the remaining $200 for dances. If you did 2 songs/girl, you could have sampled 4 girls. It's enough to have fun, but not enough to get too deep. Use the search tool on the TUSCL home page and read through past discussion threads for advice on how to level up on your SC game. These girls are sharks, so you need to know how to play the game so as not to get ripped off too badly. You WILL get ripped off at some point. We all have. It's part of the learning curve and the game.

Going Alone
I agree with what everyone's said here (including the financial advice). It's not weird to go to a strip club alone, and as others have said, it's probably preferable to go by yourself. Most of the time that I've been to a club, many guys are there by themselves, especially if you go during the day or early night shift - say before 8 or 9 p.m. Later on, you might see two buddies who go together, and then late at night, that's when you might see larger groups of guys, especially birthday or bachelor party groups. I tend to prefer to go by myself, or maybe with just one buddy who I can trust. But most of the time, I prefer the freedom of doing what I want, when I want, that comes with going to a strip club by myself. Think with the big head, not the little head. And only bring what cash you can afford to spend. This is an expensive hobby. $100 doesn't go very far. IMO, it's better to go less often and have a bigger wad to blow so you more to spend, and have a proportionately better time (usually). While mo' money doesn't necessarily equal to a better time, having mo' money to spend at a club is better as it increases the likelihood that you will. After all, the strippers probably aren't attracted to your youthful good looks. They're more attracted to the bulge in your pants, and not the one in front, but in back.

Where the English speakers are
Good review. I wondered what Kalani's (sp?) heritage was as she wasn't white, and she didn't look Latina. I thought she might have been Filipino or maybe Thai, but I wouldn't have guessed Hawaiian. I've never gotten a dance with her, but maybe I'll have to to do that the next time I'm there.

YouTube Stripper Cristina Villegas
@heaving - Well, there's definitely a lot of yarn-spinning by strippers of the various tragedies that they need money for - car died, medical bills to pay, about to be evicted, got robbed, etc. etc. etc. Anything to see if they can get some sympathy for from PLs so that they'll get money. But their real lives are sometimes just unbelievably crazy and dysfunctional. Why would anyone want to live like that? At some point, I'd think the girl would want some sort of semblance of normalcy/non-drama just so that she could get her shit together. I've talked to this one stripper over time where crazy shit just kept happening to her, and she told me these things not to get money out of me. It was just the way her life was. Freakin' nuts.

Doh - the link didn't parse correctly as TUSCL took the close parenthesis and made it part of the URL. Here's the working video exact time link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNrPsBvA0f4&feature=youtu.be&t=590

YouTube Stripper Cristina Villegas
I FIGURED IT OUT - FINALLY. Cristina Villegas's most recent video of her working an entire week had some dressing room footage, and on the wall of the dressing was a flyer advertising $20 Sunday dances. There was also a flyer advertising the Fury-Wilder fight, so it was a current video. The $20 Sunday dance flyer had the club name and logo on it. She works at Gold Room Chicago. (Video link to the exact spot on the video where the flyers can be seen: https://youtu.be/QNrPsBvA0f4?t=590) I can now rest in peace and stop wondering where she works. As noted above, she's not my type, but the intrigue of trying to figure out where she worked was just too much. Onto the next mystery to solve: Why do strippers have so much drama, and why can't they stop with the SS?

@Papi - the girl for the OTC-date had better be more than fairly-impressive for that kind of cost. She'd better be supermodel caliber and provide FS on steroids.

I may be contrarian, but I've enjoyed my SC experiences in Vegas. It all depends on what you're looking for, and how much you want to spend. Vegas is expensive, but everything is available for the right price. Also, if you go to Vegas during the right times, the hotels can be cheap, and you can easily get upgraded to much nicer rooms by slipping the check-in person a $20 (or more in higher end properties). You would get more return on investment in other cities with regard to SCs, like Miami, but there's no place else like Vegas if you're looking for a pro to hook up with while sitting at a bar in one of the casinos. Just sit at a bar by yourself, and they'll come to you - and it's not because you're a good looking guy.

OT: Common sense advice, but may be food for thought for some
@25 - You and I have similar vices at least when it comes to cars. I consider myself pretty frugal in most things except when it comes to cars and strip clubs. I drive luxury cars, but I drive them into the ground. I have a fairly new European brand lux-mobile, and a 14 year old Japanese lux-mobile. I'm hoping to drive the Japanese car for another 3-4 years before I finally give in and buy another one. The article Papi posted describes a way of life that's just too austere for most people - well, for me at least. There's are reasons for making money, and for me, it's so you can enjoy life, have security, and provide for those important to you. If you have to deny yourself the pleasures of life, is it really worth living? You don't have to go hog wild and have the latest stuff or the most luxurious items. But if you are judicious with your saving and spending, and don't have a "keeping up with the Joneses" mentality, you can have the best of both worlds, i.e., enjoying life to a reasonable extent, while at the same time, living within your means and saving for retirements so that you can enjoy the fruits of your labor and not have to work in your golden years.

Living well and enjoying my retirement
Today is the anniversary of the twenty first amendment
The Twenty-First Amendment (repeal of prohibition instituted by the Eighteenth Amendment) righted a wrong. The Eighteenth Amendment should never have been ratified in the first place. Constitutions should establish procedures and standards for governing, rather than banning or setting standards for behaviors, which is what statutes are for. Constitutions shouldn't have amendments that are added and rescinded based on the standards at the time, and the Eighteen Amendment debacle is a prime example of government overreach that created a huge black market for booze and opportunities for organized crime. Oh wait, this was posted in the front room and not the political room. Let me try again. I'm all on board with the Twenty-First Amendment. What sort of strip club experience would it be without naked women and drinking? Some of the girls (and guys) need some liquid lubrication in order to really get into it. One of my favorite things to do is to buy a girl a drink (assuming that the dancer drink prices aren't sky-high) to get her more comfortable with me before going in the back. Thanks to the Twenty-First Amendment, I've actually tried some drinks I hadn't crossed my mind to try before - vodka tonics and kamikaze come to mind in particular. A hot girl asked me if I'd buy her a drink, and she got a vodka tonic. She got called to the stage right when it was delivered, and when she was done, she made me take a drink from her class to prove that I hadn't slipped anything into it. It was yummy.

EATING BEFORE AND AFTER CLUBBING
I used to be a bit wary about eating food in a strip club, and there are some clubs where I would take a pass on the food. But the higher tier clubs I've been to have surprisingly good kitchens/food, which is one of the reasons why I tend to go to those types of places. I will typically eat at the club. That way, it's a good excuse to wave off wanna dance girls/girls I'm not interested in and scope out all the talent when I first get there as I can tell them I'm not looking to get dances right away since I'm getting food first.

Ohhhh myyy. The years have not been kind. I didn't recognize her at all. I wouldn't have even picked her out as being the same person. I like to think that I'm aging well - maybe I'm just deluding myself. But man, she really went downhill.

Am I wrong for blocking a H**
Here's a quick anecdote: I once overheard a girl talking to another girl about guys, and they were also talking about the types of cars they drive. One girl said that if a so-so looking guy drove up in a regular car, like a Toyota/Chevy/Honda whatever, she wouldn't think that much of him. But if the same guy drove up in up upscale car, like a BMW, that automatically increased the interest factor by a lot, and would elevate her opinion of him. I'm not saying that all girls are that shallow or that they're all gold diggers, but the appearance of success/money helps a lot. But it has to be real because if the guys drives a BMW and lives in a a rent-controlled building, then she's gonna call bullshit on the guy, and she's just going to turn around and walk.

@heaving - below average looking is no impediment. Have you seen some of the bfs these girls have? It's like, how did a total dirtbag like you end up in the pants of hot girl like her without paying for it? If you have a decent job and communications skills, you should be able to bench above what league you think you're in. But having a fat wallet (which could also be a good job) helps a lot - take a look at Ric Ocasek of the Cars - he ended up married to super model Paulina Porizkova for 10 years. Ric was definitely NOT a looker.

Ok...maybe I take that back about the civilian game being very different than the stripper game. In both worlds, the girl wants something from you. Also, some civvies are in it for the money just like the strippers are, but ideally, for the civilian girl, it's not (just) about the money. But a civilian is definitely still going to make judgments on superficial stuff, like looks, hygiene, habits, earning potential, etc. You just have to find the right civilian, just like you have to find the right stripper.

@heaving - No offense intended, and this is a total thread-jack, but you sound particularly pathetic loser-y in some of your posts. Is your SC MO to substitute paid companionship for civilian relationships since it doesn't sound like you've been particularly successful in latter arena? Going to SCs to go after strippers in lieu of civvies is probably not going to help you up your game for a "real" relationship since strippers are pretty much a sure thing. I suppose learning to make small talk with strippers can help with talking to women in general if you have those types of issues, but the civilian game is very different than the stripper game.

Deal breakers
@jjaries - The full body net thing isn't a deal breaker for me, but they're definitely annoying. I often wear dress shirts to clubs, and the buttons on the front of my shirt and the sleeves will get caught and tangled in the fishnets. Then we spend a few minutes trying to get untangled instead of doing dances. I tend to avoid girls wearing those things as a result, but sometimes I'm not paying attention to what she's wearing until we're already in the back.
