@PaulDrake Yeah I created another thread a week ago about falling for my ATF. My problem is the thin fine line between fantasy and reality. I keep telling myself I'll separate the two, but it's easier said than done. Financially, the strip club hasn't ruined me and I don't think it will. I have plenty of self control when it comes to money. However in terms of emotion, the club will get me real happy and then real sad right afterwards. You said you got emotional when you started, but it was different. How was it different from what I'm feeling?

@EchoPizza Thanks for that. I'm working on #1; I'm starting to go to the gym regularly. As for #4 I have my finances in a good spot as of currently. Status wise I have no idea where I stand; I think I'm just another average Joe. Personality-wise I try to be funny and witty, but whether I actually am to other people is something else entirely. I've only had one girlfriend ever so my experience with girls is just as you'd expect....not good

My only other hobby is cars! I'm currently building a 4th generation Chevrolet Camaro Z28. She's got the 5.7L LS1 V8 with full bolt-on upgrades and soon she's gonna get a new Texas Speed camshaft, new tires/rims, and hopefully a supercharger in the future. My dream car is a Corvette C7 Z06, but that'll come later in life... However going to the club changed me; I've discovered a new addiction I can't get enough of. I didn't think anything could be more expensive than building a car, but here I stand corrected.

I think I'm trying to chase happiness in a place where nothing is real..... And I'm expecting something real to come out of it

@Ishmael Going to the strip club isn't ruining my finances and it isn't interfering with my daily responsibilities. It's just the post sadness that gets me everytime. It just feels like I always have to recreate that feeling of being wanted by a woman. And goddamn I sound like the biggest PL on earth right now, but that's how it truly is right now.

I guess the real issue is that the strip club is just temporary happiness. Everytime I'm there it feels awesome because I'm with girls that are completely out of my league. In real life a girl like that and me wouldn't even cross paths. In the club all it takes is money and even though everything that happens in there isn't real; in the moment it feels real enough

I wish I could tell myself that everything that happens in the club isn't real....the girls just want your money not your feelings...

They earn a lot! However managing the money is just as important as making it

The money part is probably one the most important! One of my pals always ends up spending more than he should at the club because he has no self control. You do that and this hobby will be the end of you. It's gonna be hard to say no to all the girls, but you you're gonna have to if this is going to be a long term hobby. And also the golden rule....don't fall in love with a stripper! I learned this the hard way!! It only ends in heartbreak and bankruptcy

I mean everyone likes different things. I personally love girls with tattoos! However that's just me. And how does it ruin opportunities? What if the tattoos are in a concealable place? It's only an issue if you have face tattoos or full sleeves, etc

I have a job and I'm able to respond and read threads regularly. It only takes a couple minutes to pull out your phone and type up a message thread

I go to one club and one club only. I have been to a total of about 5-6 different clubs so far, but the first one that I have ever been to is my absolute favorite. I honestly only go to the club because of my ATF. If she one day just quit dancing, then I would also quit going to the club altogether. My entire strip club hobby is dependent on one person

Everytime I go to my usual club, I'm typically one of the youngest one around. Majority of people in the club are around 30-50. Most people I know tend to just use Tinder, Bumble, or actual dance clubs in finding quick hook ups. It's free and you can meet someone new each time. I should honestly start doing the same.

@ Reverse osmosis Yeah I've come to the realization that me and my ATF aren't gonna have anything beyond the club. If she liked me the way I liked her, there would've been progress by now. I was too busy trying to justify my infatuation that I never stopped to look at all the signs that point to it being nothing more than a fantasy. Apparently it's a noobie mistake to try and think that all the money you've spent on one girl should mean that she likes you more; when in reality she's probably just milking my wallet. I'll still visit my ATF, but I'll make sure the next time my imagination doesn't get the better of me Also I'm going back to university soon, so I'll have plenty of time to try and meet other girls in a more realistic environment.

I mean an LDK does sure sound like fun, but I can't imagine how embarrassing it must be walking around the club with a sticky stain on your pants

$1000 in one visit? :o I think Ishmael is right, she will probably expect you to spend the same kind of money next time if you're gonna start at 1K. Problem is $1000 per visit will add up quite quickly....

Can't you get kicked out for LDK? I mean I've asked a couple girls in the club and they don't seem to fond of the idea....

@mal_hodgson Oh man you really hit home right there, you literally described how I feel. Snapchat and Instagram truly makes the world feel smaller. Seeing my girl on social media is enough to set the fantasy train going. Once the fantasy train starts moving it's hard to stop. And for some reason the fantasy train always happens to stop in Reality Town And it sure does seem like you have quite the challenge! Best of luck to you Hodgson!

@ Ch3ll You're right. I think I probably just got too excited when she started getting personal. She added me across all her social media accounts and gave me her phone number voluntarily. It was my mistake to take it as a sign that she was into me. It's a sign that there is some form of friendliness present, I just like to see how far that friendliness stretches. I'm gonna see her this weekend so I'll see how it goes
