Recently I've been on a clubbing spree... it's been insane and tons of fun...but this is the reason I have no tattoos as well... ever since I was eighteen I've looked into it but clubbing always took those funds... same with getting a PS4 lol.... I could be driving a better vehicle and have clothing that made me look pimalichous but I look rather lame due to my addiction... hell I'd be further along in my poker carers if it wasn't for this Hobby
But...
It brings me happiness like nothing else can... life is so duel without it... so bland.... I feel alive and even young again with the right Lady
It's worth going without some things to keep at this wonderful addition of ours
How you guys feel ?

Most of us gotta pick and choose what we can do with our discretionary income - different people choose different things they deem more important to their lifestyle

My 9 year addiction to my ATF has just come to an end. I'm going to do some serious downsizing of my house (which will save me a couple of grand per month) and then I'm going to become more familiar with the Rhodd Island clubs.
Beyond that I've toyed with possibly getting a classic car. My first car was a '53 Chevy BelAire. I used to be a fair mechanic when cars were simpler to work on. I must have put a dozen clutches in that Chevy. I also picked up a wrecked '52 and did a complete engine swap and did need some help with that. It would be fun if I had a heated garage.

My only other hobby is cars! I'm currently building a 4th generation Chevrolet Camaro Z28. She's got the 5.7L LS1 V8 with full bolt-on upgrades and soon she's gonna get a new Texas Speed camshaft, new tires/rims, and hopefully a supercharger in the future. My dream car is a Corvette C7 Z06, but that'll come later in life...
However going to the club changed me; I've discovered a new addiction I can't get enough of. I didn't think anything could be more expensive than building a car, but here I stand corrected.

If it wasn't for this clubbing addiction I probably wouldn't have found myself in debt. Being that the casinos are in the nearest city I can SC, I'd always try to enjoy the best of both in a night. I'd often times find myself gambling more or chasing losses only to be able to spend more at the SC. So, if I hadn't got hooked on SCing I think more funds would go to gambling, but I don't think I'd have the same result as I've had.

I might be in the minority here, but I back strip clubbing into my budget and not the other way around. Meaning, when I'm looking at how to spend my discretionary income, I budget for all the other things that I want to do and if there's a surplus, then that surplus goes towards strip clubbing. And if there's no surplus or very little surplus, then I don't go strip clubbing.
I've been lucky recently in that there's, more often than not, a surplus to work with and it's enough for me to have all the fun I want. I like strip clubbing a lot, but I acknowledge that it's a very ephemeral experience. Most of the other things I enjoy doing provide more long-term benefits.
To each their own, though.

You're not alone Ishmael.........except I call it mongering money and it includes all forms.
When I first joined the site I was hitting the clubs more often than now. In recent months I go when I am on the road and when I find myself bored.
The clubs where I live do nothing for me. One gets decent reviews on here but I find it to be more of a bar than a club.
Baltimore clubs overall have seen better days so they are out.
North of here the best place to get a lapdance is an adult book store.....sorry, no, not for me.
The ROI in DC is well documented on here.............
And so it goes.

I’m also one who clubs at the end of the discretionary budget. My income varies but I’ve usually got enough to enjoy all my hobbies, within reason. But I fully fund fishing and hunting before I walk into a club.

I would be doing a lot more of my other hobbies (woodworking, fishing and going to auctions). With my work schedule my hobbies are generally more limited by lack of free time instead of lack of funds. The other hobbies are generally cheaper but when I work a 60-70 hour week I only have enough time and energy for one hobby and it isn't hard to choose which one I'm going to do.
I'll have more time for the other three hobbies when I retire, assuming I live that long.

Buying more books and putting more into savings

It's a net positive, not a net negative. Other than more retirement savings (possibly) what I spend on strip clubs in inconsequential to my budget.
