I wouldn't but you can easily get away with it! Easy. The last 2 times I crossed, no one was at the booths where they make you fill out the paper to get into Mexico and stamp your passport. I just walked right into Mexico. The scanner is a joke as well.
Ask a mesero you get to know. They can get you weed from those shady people no problem. Crap I have had them get me fresh made tortillas before to take back to the US.
