I was gonna say that sucks for you since you went there to escape the boredom at home. But you say there's still street girls working and I know you love them so it still works out for you.
All I gotta say is, try to be safe. There's a reason for this whole 'shelter in place' directive. Being intimate with strangers isn't necessarily the brightest idea right now IMO. But hey, it's your life and your choice.
I guess the clubs figured if the border is closed or hard to get through, then the gringos will not be there so no reason to stay open.
This is the worst situation I've ever seen, and that includes 9/11 and a lot of devastating natural disasters. I only hope we can rebound from this to get to where we were before all this.

Two clubs I've been to seem to have older women that had no problem getting attention: Playhouse Lounge and Hong Kong TJ. In my personal experience they simply give better mileage and their GFE is way more convincing than some young girl trying to pull it off.

I agree that it's gonna get worse before it gets better in regards to shelter in place laws and closures. This will not be over in two weeks.
I wish Rick were right, but I know in my heart that's not gonna be the case. We won't be able to waltz into strip clubs with pockets bulging full of cash and bad intentions anytime soon(shout out RHB).
As a matter of fact in a couple of weeks I think all those folks that started hoarding canned goods, frozen foods, and pasta will be closer to being able to say 'I told you so'.
We will see......

No I wouldn't do the same thing. I'm not even doing the same things in my normal day to day life. In a global pandemic I am more concerned about my family staying healthy and hoping for the world to recover so everything can go back to normal. Yes I hope the ability to do go to TJ as easily as before will return soon. If folks abide by the three week shelter in place that has a chance of happening faster. Surely you can go just three weeks without going to HK, right? Or are you so addicted that you can't do it?

Exactly as Declinetostate noted. I work in one of the counties affected by the soft lockdown. Soft is an understatement. If you judge by the traffic you'd think people are following orders, since there is zero traffic on both my way to work and coming home. But I still see plenty of folks out and about. It's good that they've closed all restaurants to take out status only. There's no dining in allowed at any restaurants. Schools all closed, including college. A lot of businesses have also closed for 3 weeks and won't reopen until April 7th.
I'm curious to see if this will all be worth it.

The only thing I can think of with the street guy pulling your arm is because he saw you were obviously a foreigner and was ready to try some shady shit. I'm glad you escaped unharmed but he was definitely up to something shady. When walking the street just keep your head on a swivel and decline any attempts by anyone approaching you, besides maybe street girls. No one tried anything close like that with me, I guess being black is good for something after all lol.
And like Tahoe said the girls do talk amongst each other, just like any other strip club. They might be competing but there are still a lot of friends in there.
Thanks again for the review, too bad your trip had to be cut short because of looming border closure concerns. I really can't wait till all this stuff is over with.

@Tahoe those single rooms may look excellent but being confined to one for a night might still be a different feeling.
I remember checking out of my master suite on a Monday morning. Then since I planned on staying at HK till around 7pm decided to book a single room since it was only $11 with my VIP card, less than the price for a single trip arriba without a room, which would have been $19. However once I got in that room I realized how tiny it feels in there. Couldn't imagine being in there overnight or multiple nights. It was seriously that tiny feeling to me. I don't know if I had gotten to used to the master suite or what.

I posted too early but what SLD said sums up exactly what I was about to write. If this person is so bored that he created this SJG character then he went overboard with all the fictional stories and the OT threads to set it up. Which is why I would more believe that Icey Loco is the created persona, not SJG. Icey starts a bunch of threads but doesn't spend all day typing post after post of manifestos talking to himself. Like SLD said, if that were all fake then this dude is even more of a nutcase than I think SJG is.

@ SLD I've asked him to meet at the club of his choice before. Numerous people have tried to invite SJG to a club. Founder himself offered to sponsor a trip to TJ. Wait, or was that Countryman? Either way, he says the same thing every time, my F2F life is private, privacy wall, yada yada. That's understandable, some folks rather stay anonymous and not meet anyone. I've got no problem with that. My issue with him is that he needs to quit trying to police people on how they have their fun in the club. But once again he'll never get that. That's why I feel not even an ounce of pity when he gets roasted by folks here day after day.

I haven't seen Baby Doc post much, but I like him already.
