HK and all clubs closed today. Girls working outside looked a little shaken. My hotel cost $60/1500pesos per week next to Chicago.

I was gonna say that sucks for you since you went there to escape the boredom at home. But you say there's still street girls working and I know you love them so it still works out for you.

All I gotta say is, try to be safe. There's a reason for this whole 'shelter in place' directive. Being intimate with strangers isn't necessarily the brightest idea right now IMO. But hey, it's your life and your choice.

I guess the clubs figured if the border is closed or hard to get through, then the gringos will not be there so no reason to stay open.

This is the worst situation I've ever seen, and that includes 9/11 and a lot of devastating natural disasters. I only hope we can rebound from this to get to where we were before all this.

I just received the following regarding my current room at Hotel Cascadas:
The Hotel Cascadas and Azul Restaurant will still be open. Due to city ordinance HK Club will be closed at least one week.

I wonder if Tuesday is the deadest day of the week for them? I thought it might be Wednesday. No 70% off special with VIP would bring in less mongers I would think. By closing on a Tuesday that means there only one day a week with deep discounts for staying at Cascadas. Well, Cascadas is still open but what's the point if all the clubs will be closed?

Another reason I'm in TJ is to grab all the cheap pesos during this month. I paid my hotel in pesos and it was so cheap at 25:1. It's a weird experience. What will happen if peso drop to 30:1 ?

Business will be booming for the coyotes since they can double their workload by getting paid by Mexicans to sneak them into the US for the chance at a better life and by Americans paying them to sneak them into Mexico for some better P4P on their return trip.

HK update:
restaurante Azul is now closed but the waiters will bring room service from the street vendors. Hotel Rizzo and hotel cascadas both remain open with their hotel bars open and girls working in them.

Yes it's a secret. The bar is inside the hotel so no one can know, and there're doormen outside the hotel doors. Everything here is still normal to me, but less variety to choose from. Mexico still rocks and I'm hiding in here from corona :-)

1. Can I get a room for the 30-60min? Or do we need to get a room for the night?

2. How do you choose a lady? Sounds dumb but more like what’s the process. Fish bowl? Just walk and grab some ass and pay a dollar? How many to choose from?

3. Bar - haven’t been there so what happens? Girls roaming or just chilling by the bar?

4. Crossing over. What are the restrictions? Last I heard it was essentials or medical.

1. Short term rooms are available although I did not partake because I already had my master suite.

2. There are a handful of ladies there in street cloths but they are all working. If you have contact numbers call. They need the work. There are also street hustlers pimping HK girls.

3. Bar has a typical hotel bar vibe. Except you are guaranteed to get lucky here unlike at home.

4. Crossed four times in four days 9pm into TJ and 7am back to US without an issue.

If you buy the 6 months visa, you can cross in and out anytime.

They will even sell you the 6 month visa during the closure. I bought mine on Sunday the 22nd mainly because they have started stamping my passport every month when I come and this will prevent it. The cost was $32.

@mf92802 why not just get a passport card? Valid for 10 years and no stamps ever.

I haven't gotten my passport card because I must turn in my passport in order to obtain it and I am down there once a month not to mention my other travels with my SO. I am not confident that union government employees will process my application and return my passport in time. I have obtained Global Entry and it is wonderful to pass the long line at the border during healthy times.

Maybe now with an April visit questionable it may be a good time to take the plunge! Thank you TFP for the advice.

Does anybody have any updated information regarding La Zona? I will be in San Diego May 31st through June 4th. I have made reservations at Hotel Cascadas for each night. I had no issues at the border (either direction) on my last trip the end of March. Has anybody been denied entry lately?

Border crossing looks normal by walking. But driving into US has a 10hrs wait time for some people. The zona looks like ready to reopen, the streets have 80 SGs all over, and hotel Cas has 30+ BGs, and about 25 rooms rent by gringos.

While COI is where my mongering roots started, TJ was my where my mongering changed from a hobby to a lifestyle (until I met Mss Right), so TJ has a special place in my memory and in LC.

That being said, I just hope things improve once TJ opens up again because all the reports sound pretty lame.

A six BG line up at Hotel Cascadas may be better than nothing to some mongers but to me it sounds very lame, not worth the time or effort.

Tips: make sure to ask nicely to see all the girls line up with your new vip card. You may not see them all at once but a few times a day. I heard up to 40 girls in there.

To each their own and spend how much you want on who you want, but too call HK BGs " too fucking expensive" seems a bit extreme.

Yes, Pre Covid, HK BGs offer arriba at the highest price in the Zona but the quality of the BGs is definitely worth the $20 extra.

That being said, two of my five best arriba experiences were with Adelita BGs.

Yes 5 of my best arriba experiences were with HK spinners, 2 yrs ago. Today 6/1 many mongers visit the zona, walking around the streets, and packed in hotel. They must have hoped for a reopen hehe.

I visited hotel cascada's on May 31st. my original trip was to have been four nights but I shortened it to just the one night. I talked with the hotel manager that I know and he indicated a reopening on the 15th of June would be a best-case scenario but he is skeptical.

I contacted my favorite waiter and he handled bringing ladies up to me to my master suite. The selection was dismal but I participated because I went to all the trouble to get there and paid for the room. I sampled twice but found the whole experience to be overpriced and underwhelming.

The good news is when I explain to my waiter that I prefer to sit and drink with the bar girls prior to taking them upstairs he brought me to a speakeasy that had been created in one of the hotels. It was actually fairly nice with music playing and about an even ratio of bar girls to PLs. It had the standard Little red bar benches tables drink service and plenty of groping including FRMS. I was assured by multiple waiters that they were in the process of bringing in more bar girls.

Your experience is pretty much what I would expect until the boarders open up, underwhelming and overpriced.

For me, the best thing about the Zona Norte is the variety and volume of BGs available but with only 5-10% still in TJ, the TJ experience should be underwhelming for the time being.

From the HK website earlier today: We are not currently open due to Covid-19 but we expect to reopen soon. However, Hotel Cascadas directly above the club is open. Keep checking our website and social media for opening date announcements.

Good (or poor) selection is a subjective evaluation and can be influenced by the state of mind of the beer holder (beholder).
Saying there were x# girls but only a couple I found attractive is more informative.
