K - I actually did ask her what she meant. But I think I might have said something about having to go to work the next day, so she dropped it. I talked to her on the phone sometime later but duh - didn't think to ask! Didn't think to mention I'd be generous if we saw each other OTC either. Missed connections!

In 1988 a friend took me to Bare Elegance in LA. It was just a little place then, and a wooden bar came between you and the dancer during private dances. A hot 19 year old blonde asked me if I was in staying in a hotel nearby. I wasn't and I was too broke to get one. In the mid 90s I frequented Centerfolds in Houston. One night a busty blonde from Ohio (yes I prefer blondes) assured me that we could have "casual sex" the next night if I met her at another club in town. I chickened out. Also in the mid 90s a busty blonde in NYC asked if I was into after hours parties. I had no idea what she was talking about. She dropped the topic It's been possible for decades. But you have to know how to play. Guess I'm your typical PL. TUSCL s a great investment.

    Stripper web - PL Enlightenment
Yes, it's all theater. It's all an act. The thing they like the most about us is what's in our wallets. It's why they can like young men, old men, fat men, skinny men, ugly men, married men, desperate men, lonely, insecure men, stupid men, intellectual men, arrogant men, mid-life crisis men, ad nauseum. But hey, if you spend money and treat them with respect, they will pretend to like you even more! It's better than a casino! Everyone comes out a winner! Who else in the world can make an aging, overweight guy feel like the stud he never was in high school, if but for an hour or two? Isn't that worth a paycheck every now and then? Doesn't that give a guy a break from the incessant barbs and snipes and criticisms of a ten year spouse? Just have fun indulging the fantasy. Or find a way to make your real life more like you really want it. Your choice. The world owes you nothing. Especially strippers.

I used to go to Bare Elegance every chance I got, but that was a long while back. Girls were gorgeous.

    ATF Proposal
I don't think marriage will improve the OTC experience. Marriage is work, even under the best of circumstances. The fantasy will dissipate. Unless you're willing to accept the lifetime of negotiation, financial bullshit and other crap that goes with marriage, I'd suggest enjoying the relationship for what it is now, and when it's time to move on, move on.

An escort show with crappy sex scenes? One, two seasons, tops. Maybe not even one. Several independent films have had more or less hardcore scenes over the last several years. "Homeland" gets pretty intense, and sex is ancillary to the story. I mean dude, an escort show with crappy sex scenes is like "Law and Order" with no court scenes. Like, what's the point, man?

    Need a term for this
Just for reference, how would you all describe the current Supergirl? She's 5'8, athletic but not the bodybuildng type, but not a spinner.

I suppose if guys knew dress sizes things would be easier. Spinners would be what, 0-2? I'd guess a size 12 would be considered "thick" or "heavy" in a strip club, but then you have to factor in height and athleticism. Maybe a better descriptor would be model types: rail thin would be fashion model, curvy-athletic would be bikini or lingerie model, thick would be plus size model.

The problem with the 1-10 rating scale
Currently I would set Charlotte McKinney at 10 and Roesann Barr at 0. Kate Upton would be at say 9-9.5, Reese Witherspoon at 6. Mayim Bialik would be a 4, but I'm being generous here. Every guy has their own range. I've seen maybe 1 or 2 10s in 15 years of clubbing. Mostly they ran in the 7-8 range, but still had some good times.

Unwritten rules of the strip club...
From what I've read elsewhere: 1) Bathe 2) Bathe 3) Bathe, especially if you're of South Asian descent. 4) Brush your fucking teeth 5) Bring cash, spend like a liberal 6) Make up your mind quickly, don't waste your time or hers on bullshit talk you don't want anyway. 7) Ask about boundaries, don't push them. 8) Shit guys just treat them as the human beings they are. 9) Always remember this is fantasy land. She doesn't like you, other than maybe in a professional sense. She likes you like your dentist likes you: You come, you sit in the chair, you pay as you leave. See you next time. 10) She doesn't want or need you to "save" her for Jesus or from the life she leads. She just wants to be compensated adequately for the work she does. Just like any guy. Do these things and maybe you'll be surprised? I haven't figured that out.

    Etiquette
A long time ago. I was at Centerfolds in Houston. I was waiting on a dancer when this FUGLY FUGLY FUGLY one sat at my table without asking. Not my thing at all. Shrinkage. Shriveling. I closed off my posture. Turned away. She didn't get the hint. She said, "don't be afraid." I replied, "It's not that I'm afraid, it's just that I'm not interested." It took her a few seconds, but then she got it. Soon after she left, the dancer I was waiting for came along. All better. I guess I could have been more polite, and it's not like I'm not anything to write home about, but man, yuck!

    The aftermath of "no"
This sounds a bit like dating. Disappear for awhile. Don't return calls or texts. Then come back at the end of a month and pay attention to others, but reserve the $$$ for her IF she comes around. If it's meant to be she will. If it's not, there's surely another DS around the corner.

How would being rich change how you club?
With sufficient money, I'd pursue a really high quality fantasy: A long weekend GFE with a DS. High-rise hotel room with a private hot tub on the veranda. I'd love to try something like that at least once in my life, before it's too late to really enjoy this sort of thing. That's just a few years away, I'm afraid.

    You're a Stripper Teacher
Really great strippers somehow always leave you wanting more. Eye contact, giving a little more per song, making him wonder what might happen if he got just one more dance. Telling him she likes something about him more than the other guys in the club. A vague promise of fun during a future visit. Anything to keep her pleasurably in his mind after he leaves. Always keep him reaching, pursuing, dreaming. He will empty his wallet many more times than once.

SC's are luxury.. So.. Minimum salary?
The math is actually kind of simple: If you want to spend $300-400 CASH per trip to a strip club, just subtract that from your monthly paycheck after taxes. If you're left with eating ramen noodles every night, you're below minimum salary. If you're covering all your costs (rent, food utilities, x-port, retirement etc) you're good to go. Just don't make my mistake: I climbed out of debt several times only to whip out the atm and credit cards and took months paying it back.

Getting burned even when you know better
This all makes me think of those traveling carnivals or fairs - the ones where the guy tells you you can pick any huge prize you want if you just bust a balloon with a dart. The first dart is free, but every other dart is like 5 bucks. When we get taken, we so want to blame the guy, but really the guy is just out there to make money, same as everyone else in our society. Do we blame other guys for pushing the line, trying to maximize return for their effort? Why do we get all nasty about women when they do the same? I'm really glad for the guys in TUSCL because we can all learn about the pitfalls of this hobby. But I don't blame the women for treating us like PLs if we behave that way. The strip club experience is just like any other drug. Manage the addiction in ways that won't kill you or ruin your life.
