You, Me and Her/ The Girlfriend Experience
Anyone been watching either of these shows? The Girlfriend Experience on Starz and You, Me and Her on the Audience channel.
We have been watching the GFE because the previews seemed good and we thought it would have plenty of steamy escort sex. Turns out we’re calling it The Boring Experience. The sex is basically a few seconds here and there and usually shot with very dim backlighting. It has this whole other side story about her normal job which seems like it’s being drawn out to fill in empty time every week. Is anyone watching this and enjoying it? It’s sort of sad seeing all her older married clients getting emotionally attached to her and paying several thousand dollars for a few hours with her.
You, Me and Her is a little different in that the premise is a married couple hires a college student/wannabe escort. Starts off with the man cheating and backing out and then the wife meeting the escort and falling for her. It’s been going SO SLOW but they’re finally to the point where they’ve decided they just want an actual threesome because the wannabe escort is falling for both of them. Both of us enjoy this show a lot more because it’s more our lifestyle than TGE is but we’ve been watching it almost shaking our heads in confusion and disbelief because it’s turning into a straight up poly show. We can’t get past the part of why the married couple was doing things separately with this college student and now suddenly want her to be their third since all three of them suddenly have feelings for each other. It’s just weird to us.
Anyone been watching and have any thoughts?
