Eviction / Homelessness Crisis and the Pandemic
There was about $47 B allocated to help the homeless, but only about $3B was spent. Most of the money flow to those that needed it was stopped by state governments. In the meantime, the fed spends over $100B per MONTH [on treasuries and mortgage backed securities] to lower interest rates and to indirectly support a friendzied housing market (for homeowners like me and others here). If you don't give a shit about fairness-- then at least be honest. ...more tent cities coming to location near you.

^^^ of course her race is mentioned as part of your response because...it's an all-consuming topic for you. I'm no athlete, but it seems to me she's risking breaking her neck if she's not in focus. Her decision, and she's still a champion.

Writing from Houston, and I've been taking many trips Hobby -> Den. Hobby is smallish and easy to get in and out. Den is like a huge metropolis. Houston itself is like living in a humid barbecue pit. How can anyone live here?

So who has actually provided “mentorship?”
I'd estimate that 3/4 of my SBs have been the product of good parenting and have their life and career goals in order. Finding college girls like that is time-consuming and I realize how unusual that is on a stripper forum. They don't need mentoring; I want the excitement and stress-free experience of reliving my youth without drama. Finally back after Covid and seeing another econ student at cu Boulder. Only 2x per month now which is more than enough.

Newspapers: Do you still read them?
In order from most liberal to most conservative, I have online subscriptions to WaPo, NYT, Economist, WSJ. Often ignore the editorial content on WSJ-- but news is 1st rate. Also follow about 10 writers and economists on Twitter. Love having a 10" tablet for news, Kindle for books.

This strip club promotion system is fucked up
I love Warrior's logic here: A bartender goes online and fucks his 60-yr-old ass for money -- and he comes here explaining that she's not a sex worker (like those strippers who get groped for a living).

Warrior, I've met an SB waitress in a strip club, too. Do you really think she's not taking offers from other men coming into the club? As I've been saying for weeks, you're getting quite goofy in you're old age. What you're doing is far closer to prostitution than "dating."

Vice has an article on how to eat out a non-op trans "woman"
^^^^ Huh? I'm not preoccupied with transexuals because the choice of others doesn't affect my lifestyle. I never said that trans-women are the same as biological women; I said that they deserve protection from violence, hatred, bigotry, and discrimination in the workplace. If the 0.000001% chance of seeing an exposed pre-op tranny in the locker room bothers you, then work on sorting it out in the courts.

16 yr old signs contract to play Pro Basketball
Devil's advocate: Consider time-value-of-money. It depends on how that money is used. If the kid's parents are smart enough to invest that $600K at age 16, that money would be worth about $8M at age 60 compounded at 6%. It's hard to comprehend that money grows exponentially and that starting early makes a huge difference. The kid may end up with greater net worth than an MD who finishes residency at age 30, $200K in debt. There may be many scenarios where investing that money early in life is a far better choice than attending college. It's a great opportunity for a kid with the right athletic talent and parents with financial savvy.

Transsexual in women’s locker room. What could possibly go wrong?
You can figure that only 0.5% of the population is transexual and that only a tiny fraction of those are pre-op trans-women. And only a tiny fraction of those accidentally or intentionally exposed themselves at a spa. By the time you do the math, you probably have a case or two across the entire nation sensationalized on right-wing media. Because claiming that all liberals are trying to push an alternate view of reality is a lot more "sexy" than coming up with a simple solution (like installing a locker room curtain for privacy). Of course, sensationalizing a few trivial cases obscures the real issue that the trans population needs protection against discrimination and bigotry. And there are lots of topics that contain some substance. For example, Trump's ban on transgender soldiers and Biden's recent reversal. Why should gender identity disqualify an otherwise well-qualified soldier? Let's face it -- most of these threads represent thinly-veiled intolerance and bigotry.

If you're reading this @SJG, I wonder whether (1)this story is about an actual trip you made to an AMP, where you had sex with the owner or, (2)you wrote a fictional account of an encounter where an AMP worker fell in love with you in the first 90 seconds, or (3) you're at the point where you can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality? I'm guessing the latter.

(2)"Since I was still paying rent, car payments, and credit cards for my kids, SB thought I should be doing the same for her. " ____________________ You realize that you are contracting yourself. Did a crazy woman the age of your daughter fall in love with you? Or did she extort you for money? I don't see what PPE v. monthly allowance has to do with this story. She just sounds like a looney bin.

That's the right way to handle a blackmail attempt--tell her that she's committing a federal crime and cut off all forms of communication. Funny, I've been sugaring since 2015 (with a break for Covid) without a single problem. Am I lucky or just better at the screening process? I think extortion is very rare.

There's nothing there that should be insulting. It's a matter of taste and a guess you're closer to Robert Kraft than @JohnSmith. It's not my style to lead on three girls at once. But that's probably a minority opinion.

No doubt about it, owning a custom home or a beach condo is a terrific asset for sugaring. Sure beats the combination of a recent-model Mercedes lease and a dilapidated apartment in the city. A common theme in all your posts about sugaring, @Warrior, is that you seem obsessed with getting a good deal. Yet it appears that you can easily afford to pay more, the money itself likely insignificant. For example, rather than driving your previous date home crying, would it have made much difference to pay $800 v. $600? And isn't it a little unusual for someone to engage in both higher-end sugaring and TJ brothels? Curious about the psychology, and why getting a good deal is so important to you? @JohnSmith was the ultimate SD, paying $1000 per meeting plus tropical vacations plus shopping trips. You could tell from his 3000-word posts (bordered on erotic literature) that the money was the last thing on his mind. BTW, many of these girls are looking for "exclusive monthly arrangements" to avoid working menial jobs like retail while going to school. The "exclusive" part can be a logical strategy to avoid getting an STD. Many sugar couples exchange STD panels these days. It doesn't necessarily mean they're infatuated with you. I'm also curious how you plan to juggle the three girls, all of whom are interested in "getting the job." Do you need to give all three a few romps to decide on the winner? Or do you enjoy the attention of having them fight over you? Final point, I don't think SA is overrun with escorts, and even if I'm wrong, insisting on one platonic date probably eliminates most of them.

My practical advice to you GACA since you're a newbie and recently divorced: Ask yourself if you're looking for an SB or a girlfriend. Ask yourself what you can afford, make a budget, and realize that sugaring is probably a lot more expensive than occasional stripper OTC. Communicate the above, honestly, to the girls you meet online.
