    Have You Had COVID-19 Yet?
Surely you've read that Omicron is 5x more likely to cause breakthrough infections to those vaccinated and boosted. It's far more contagious but much less lethal. Perhaps a good thing that brings us closer to herd immunity.

What kind of work do you do @Mike? I vaguely remember posting an article from MIT Technology Review in one of your threads a year or two ago. It quoted the work from climate scientists at Berkeley, UCLA, Oxford, and pointed out the near unanimous agreement that climate change is making fires in the west more likely and more intense. I remember the thread disintegrated into mindless name-calling. So I won't try to argue with your cogent gnat-on-the-ass theory. The fires today near Boulder destroyed the most homes in Colorado history. Almost the entire eastern half of CO is in severe drought. It's very depressing, although we will get a few inches of snow soon to put out the fires.

The effects of climate change are undeniable and it's depressing. We've had about 1" of snow the entire winter and the suburbs SE of Boulder are on fire as I write this. At least 600 homes lost so far. Fire season in late December with 70 mph winds! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10356817/Wildfire-spreads-Boulder-Louisville-power-lines-down.html

I think if the same thread was posted over at Reddit "sugar lifestyle" (now with over 125K men and women) the overwhelming consensus would be to postpone and tell her. Mutual safety is part of the culture. It's also not unusual to trade STD panels. It's probably implied that you don't simultaneously partake in TJ brothels.

The rectum list originally had "UV-lamp." But it was removed from the list to avoid ridicule of #45.

Just curious: If the ER needs to remove a screwdriver from your rectum, does it make any difference if it's flathead or phillips? Would it be removed counter-clockwise? What about the safety of getting an MRI? Also, if you insert a "stress ball" into your rectum and go to the ER, wouldn't that cause more stress, defeating the purpose?

Why not forgo the estrogen and just compete in the Special Olympics, @Muddy? I'm sure you could qualify in your very own natural state.

Hey Teachers and Doctors, Leave Those Kids Alone
I did a quick search under "gender-affirming" surgeries. Surgery on minors is very uncommon and is allowed in some states under the order of a psychiatrist and the diagnosis of severe "gender dysphoria." For example, for a kid who's already attempted suicide. The idea that surgery is done at the whim of liberal elites is comical horseshit. I have no opinion other than it should be left to medical experts. I understand how the topic would be clickbait to nutcases intolerant to the LBGT community.

Reid will be remembered for his significant role in getting the ACA through congress. The ACA is more popular than ever despite every effort to sabotage the legislation. RIP Harry. Nothing new; the OP is a psychopath.

@Warrior, old friend, I don't understand the animosity. I'm trying to help you. Sugaring among geriatric men, like yourself, amounts to prostitution. By being honest and direct with you, I'm saving you ten years of therapy! But if you want to meet my mother for an age-appropriate date, let me know. Also, if you're going to write off your date above as "not-to(SIC)-bright," you should at least check your spelling. People might assume you grew up on a farm.

Michelle Wu, the new Mayor of Boston, is cute if you're into Asian women. She's pals with Liz Warren from her days at Harvard Law -- which will make her an automatic favorite here on TUSCL. She's my type: https://www.boston.com/news/politics/2021/01/09/elizabeth-warren-endorses-michelle-wu/

    Omicron
Yes, it's possible that Omicron is more benign than Delta. It's also possible that a significant fraction of those infected in S. Africa already had Covid or had already been vaccinated. That's what NYT is reporting. Time will tell. Studies from Denmark and UK don't seem to agree w/ S. Africa. The way I understand it, viruses usually become less lethal and more transmissible with time.

    Political polarization
Biden's recent approval from Democrats isn't 90% -- it's more like 75%. As things stand now, the Democrats are going to get slaughtered in the midterms. There've been countless articles about the role of social media in creating polarization. Where voters get their news is often their own filtered information bubble. Conspiracy theories run rampant and at a velocity that would be impossible before tech companies like FB and Twitter. Trump was master at disseminating propaganda in bite-sized nuggets on Twitter. It's as if Trump disappeared after he was banned on Twitter.

Founder - You've gone through this cycle many times, now. In a perfect world, ignore is used to get rid of someone whose only purpose is to be disruptive. In practice ignore means (1) I don't like your opinion, or (2) I don't like you, or (3) I don't want to be challenged. As I said above, it leads to a bland forum.

We've had threads moderated by the OP in past versions. In practice it eliminates dissenting views and makes the board much less interesting. Obviously it's your board and your call.

Because I'll also want one finally tearful rendezvous with a thoughtful and empathetic stripper who poses as a shit-truck driver on a stripper site.
