I'm convinced that 98% of secret shopper offers of any kind are a scam. I don't even know how people legitimately score that kind of gig.

I wish I remembered the name of the website. I googled it after viewing the ads and there was a whole list of customers on travel review sites that commented about how shady it was. Then there was a smaller portion that said they bought into the packages and commented on the seminar saying you didn't have to commit to anything they offer you when you attend, but the timeshare hustlers will definitely try to win you over. I don't want to go on a vacation to be bombarded by timeshare sharks. LOL. I hear often that buying it is a lost cause anyway.

Do you prefer Newbie or Experienced Dancers
In the newbies' defense, I've worked with plenty of 'veterans' where they knew very well how to talk up the customers, but seeing them dance for them was nothing to brag about (ie: They're extremely finicky about being touched or their looks are so high in demand at the club that they'll get multiple dances anywhere despite that they just do a very simple bump-and-grind lap dance.).

I've been getting random offers for 3-5 day vacation resort packages advertised at just $99. The website set a 10 minute (easily resettable) timer to make the transaction, but they say you have up to a year to set the book dates after the purchase. They all say it's because of COVID affecting business and the only fine print/thing the customer is obligated to do to seal the deal (and apparently avoid a freakishly expensive fee that further research of this company has confirmed.) is to attend a 2 hour seminar for some kind of timeshare. This is for select resorts at Cancun, Vegas, and Orlando, I believe. I saw other people saying they got the same offer, and while it isn't completely scammy, nobody seemed wild about the timeshare seminar obligation. One person said they got charged an additional $400 for not attending during their stay. I don't think I want to try that vacation package.

If I think the dancer is pleasing to the eyes, I'll want to see how skilled she is with private dances regardless of how long she's been dancing. I have yet to have a poor experience with a newbie, but I usually only get 1 or 2 dances at the most with them.

Would you meet up with an engaged stripper?
@spice. Or the alternative . . . the dancers that complain to the other girls that their BF/husband is accusing or suspects them of cheating and act like he has no logical reason to question them of such things . . . are always the same girls I catch jackhammering their arm or bobbing their heads up and down in my peripheral vision when I'm walking by the booths.

"To the dancers here, do protect a PL's history with you if he suddenly shows up with a group? Assuming the guy is not an asshole where you gleefully out him." 99.9% of the time when a PL that usually comes alone brings a friend or several, they have already spoken of me to their friends so that there are no surprises or awkwardness.

Being in the conversation with non-PLs
I don't think I've ever overheard strangers or acquaintances talking about strip clubs. But there was one time (about three years ago) I was having breakfast at a brunch restaurant in a very nice neighborhood. When they get really busy, they have communal tables open where people can sit and eat, but they'd be sharing the table with strangers. That's where I sat and ate. A middle-aged couple decided to sit across from me and they were very chatty and charismatic. The topic came up on what I did for work, and I sort of fibbed and said that I was a cocktail waitress at the Doll House. The woman perks up and says that a family friend of hers dances at Wackos and how stupid it's been that they've been getting raided all the time, and how it's lame that adult entertainment is so strictly regulated in Jax... I was not expecting this random couple to be so open minded on the subject. We kept talking and it went from strippers to medical marijuana until I finished my meal and wished them well. I never said that I danced or had a BIG interest in clubs, but it was oddly satisfying hearing their opinions on the scene.

Up The Stairway To The Sex Industry: Lingerie/Nude Modeling
I ... honestly don't think that's a common problem. That situation has never happened to me because the shoot won't begin until the model release is signed and money is collected beforehand. I only make contact moderately/highly repped photographers to work with, so I've never suspected that could happen, but it's easy to just leave if they refuse to pay upfront. The same goes for the other way around (Where the model is paying the photographer to shoot them).

When you get a call from husband or boyfriend.
@Rick, Everything she explained made sense because he spilled a *lot* about his personal life involving his family and work. While she wasn't directly upset with me, she did not sound thrilled to be having the conversation. Whether she was lying or not, that was not a situation I wanted to keep aggravating by seeing him anymore.

When you get a call from husband or boyfriend.
From my perspective, yes, I got a call from a wife once. That was the last time I decided to make contact with the custy. He was an EMT specialist seeing me along with two other dancers ITC and OTC for about two and a half months and it was obvious he was clubbing and going out with me to blanket a bigger problem. Probably shelled out at least $5k a month considering he went to the club 3 times a week and did OTC once a week with that many girls. Had an apparent drug issue (always took and offered me some mystery pills when we went out.), ALWAYS talked poorly about his wife and kid back home, and was recently messed up about not being able to save two child patients and started to dislike his job. Then one day he texts me to confirm that we're going out that night and I say that I'm free, then he asks me to call him so that he can share his gameplan over the phone since it was too long to text. I call his number and a female voice answers immediately asking "Are you sleeping with my husband?" To which, after the initial confusion, I said no. She then goes on a long tangent about how she found random dancers' names in his phone contacts and her friend told her that she saw us eating out together one day. Followed with a long sad story about how he's been skipping days of work, taking money out of his son's college fund to spend, and how he's been turning abusive towards her. The conversation ends with "Oh, you're awake... I'll let you go. My husband wants his phone back." She hangs up. Then I get a series of texts 5 minutes later "please, believe me, she's a lying ass bitch!" "I told you she's psychotic, she laughed after she hung up!" "im getting my own place soon, then we can keep seeing each other!" Since the drama finally came into the light, we did not keep seeing each other.
