The private room cost is definitely nuts.
I haven’t been to Tootsies since pre-Covid so IDK how much has changed. Pre-Covid: + there were VIP rooms downstairs and upstairs – downstairs VIP rooms were $100 and upstairs VIP rooms were $150 (I think they were half-priced on dayshift pre-8pm) – post-Covid I have read the smaller cheaper rooms downstairs were closed but IDK if this was a permanent thing or some kinda remodel? I think one can ask the staff w.r.t. the different VIP room options and prices – pre-Covid when the downstairs VIP rooms were open there was a girl standing outside that would collect the room-fee (i.e. if this is still the case then one can ask her the deal w.r.t. downstairs rooms) – the downstairs VIP rooms were against the right-wall (wall opposite the main stage) and just past the downstairs lap-dance-area and the girl that took the room-$$$ would stand just outside these rooms behind a little stand. w.r.t. an upstairs dance-area – at least pre-Covid there was an upstairs dance-area that was the same as the two downstairs just a bit smaller but same setup of semi-open booths with a bench-seat – this upstairs dance-area was all the way to the far-left as one came up the stairs – IDK if this setup has changed but even pre-Covid it was not uncommon for PLs to get dances in the upstairs couches in the main-seating-area (I can see the dancers preferring to do this since if they give dances on the floor/table-side/seating-couches, they don’t have to pay the club the $5/song charge as they do when they give dances in the dedicated lap-dance-area) - the dedicated lap-dance-area is not 100%-private but more private than the seating-areas (the dedicated-dance-area is a communal-area but out of view of the main-area); but I think the dedicated lap-dances-areas also have cameras (one can get good dance-mileage but not extras; I assume the cameras in the dance-areas are there to make sure custies pony-up the room-fee if they want extras).

The private room cost is definitely nuts.
This club has become more and more of a tourist-trap over-the-years – even a year or two pre-Covid there were girls already asking $1K for VIP – this club has gotten a “baller rep” over the last few-years especially after it started being mentioned in some rap-songs – as a result this club seems to get a lot of out-of-town visitors and these are often inexperienced-SCers that may “know of Tootsies” but are not hardcore SCers thus being inexperienced-tourists they are often ripe for getting-overcharged like any other “tourist destination” strip-club or not – the club also seems to get a good # of out-of-town dancers that come-down for a few days or weeks with the sole-intention of making as much $$$ as possible and many of them try to accomplish this by quoting max-price to every custy they encounter thinking that with the club’s baller-rep and high # of tourists looking to have a good-time (vs trying to save $$$) that they’ll find enough $uckers to bite at the inflated-price. SoFlo clubs that offer extras are the norm so there will often be a lot of competition among the dancers since most/many offer-extras – that means that IMO it’s more of a buyer’s-market vs a seller’s-market at least for custies that know how extras-clubs-work which seem to be the minority especially at a tourist-heavy-club like Tootsies – as I often post, IMO the key to getting a fair-deal is to try and know the going-rates upfront and make a fair-offer vs asking the dancers for their prices since the latter will often get you inflated-quoted-prices – at a club like Tootsies IMO $500 may not get you every-dancer but will get you many if not most – again IMO/IME the key is to make-the-offer/state-the-prices vs asking the dancer for a price (I think some dancers will agree to $300 or $400 if a custy is willing to bide-his-time). One also needs to be careful – as I mentioned this club tends to get a fair # of out-of-town dancers just looking to make as much $$$ as possible as fast as possible and they figure it’s unlikely they’ll have to deal w/ these custies again – if one does not dot-their-i’s and cross-their-t’s some of these transient-dancers will take your $$$ and not deliver (vs the local Cubanas that tend to deliver) – i.e. some of these dancers (often the non-Cubans ones), will agree to a lower-price, ask you for the $$$, then when you get to VIP they’ll just do dances and claim ‘you didn’t specify what you wanted” – and this is why I have a no-pay-upfront policy (except the room-fee payable to the club) – I tell the dancer upfront b/f agreeing to VIP that I don’t pay till the end – the best I’ll do is show them I have the $$$ but I make sure I then put-it-away in a safe-place b/c some of these girls *will*’ pick-your-wad once they know how much you have and where you have it.

w.r.t. club dress-codes – IME not uncommon for clubs that bill-themselves as somewhat “upscale” to have a dress-code – also IME it’s more common for dress-codes to be enforced on nightshift although some clubs are consistent w.r.t. their dress-code irrespective of shift. The OP mentioned in one of his comments wearing athletic-pants that can pass as slacks – I often try to do this by wearing similar pants that are black and have pockets – these are “usually” not an issue but then again I rarely visit at night anymore and I’m also not that much into upscale clubs – but if I’m hitting a “somewhat upscale” club particularly at night, I try to dress a little better just in case; I also feel more out of place being dressed-down at night. In “most clubs” that somewhat enforce a dress-code there are two things that IME may get you barred from entering: 1) wearing a shirt w/o a collar (I don’t recall ever being barred entry while wearing a shirt w/ a collar even if it was just a t-shirt) 2) wearing pants (or shorts) w/o a zipper – in the dives I hit I will usually wear dark-colored baggy athletic-shorts and I never really have an issue – most of my visits are on dayshift – if I go at night, then I opt for dark thin pants that usually don’t have a fly – the few times I’ve been denied entry at some clubs when I was wearing “pants” was when my pants didn’t have a fly/zipper (same for shorts; some clubs allow khaki-style shorts w/ zippers but not athletic-shorts w/ no zipper) There are some pants that are thin similar to athletic pants but have a thin zipper; these can usually pass as “slacks” at almost all clubs IME – the key is to find ones where you can barely tell the zipper is there if at all since these are more-comfortable for dances. I think if one sticks to collared shirts/t-shirts; and to pants w/ a (preferably thin) zipper (and preferably in black and w/ pockets); then this is probably good-to-go at almost any club (IME).

    Forum, Discussion, or Review?
For me personally, the purpose of a review is to inform people w.r.t. what the club has to offer, vs just discussing a singular-topic such as dress-code, or a specific dancer one likes, etc – there are reviewers that go to a club; say the club “was great”, but they didn’t get a single dance, can’t comment on the mileage, nor the prices, etc; so for me that review does not offer much – for me a review should have details/specifics (vs generalities) – reviews that say “club was great” … “girls were awesome” ... usually don’t have much value (and I assume a good # of the generic-reviews are likely written just to get the free-VIP vs wanting to provide useful information). w.r.t. providing info on a singular-topic like dress-code; if it’s a club that is reviewed fairly-often, then keep an eye-out for the next published review about the club and then put that info as a review-comment – or if you are not that active on TUSCL to where you peruse the daily reviews often, then just put the info as a comment in the most-recent review of the club.

IME more often than not custies and dancers will often have differing opinions (if not polar opposite) of what a "good club" is (especially w.r.t. seasoned PLs and dancers) - which makes sense.

I doubt songs are under 3-minutes (could be u weren't paying attention and the dancer told you it was a new song even though the current song hadn't ended?) - I haven't been to this club in a while but songs were typically around 3.5 minutes. There isn't a "set price" for extras - the problem is too-many out of towners *ask* for a price then just pay it thus driving-up-prices - as I often post, dancer-competition in these clubs is often fierce and this "should" keep prices down if custies learned the going-rate$ and made the offer upfront vs asking how much - seems most girls have settled on $300 for 15-minutes bc custies just ask and pay what the girl says.

Booby Trap Strip Club Makes Competing $5 Million Offer for Miami Heat Arena Name
"... On November 12, popular porn site BangBros announced that it would be re-submitting a $10 million offer for the naming rights to the arena after its 2019 offer to rename it "Bang Bros Center (BBC)" failed to materialize ..." "BBC" is a fairly popular porn term used for "Big Black Cock" - so I guess naming an NBA arena "BBC Arena" would be fitting 😊

Wow - he always looked tall but never thought he'd get to that height. If he's 16 that means he was only 10 when Trump won the nomination - at that time he looked a little odd bc in reality he was just a little kid but his size made him look older.

I don’t use social-media – it doesn’t interest me for the most-part – I use TUSCL b/c strip-clubs interest-me. Only social-media that interests me is YouTube (if that is considered social-media) b/c it has a lot of content. w.r.t. Elon and Twitter – my first-thought it why pay 44-billion if he could start his own platform from scratch (I’d assume it would be much cheaper and he has the branding to make it popular almost instantly). Perhaps it wasn’t about starting a social-media platform as much as it was taking it away from the hands of leftist-extremists – the left has proven that the only way for their “message to gain transaction” is by shutting-down any contrary-opinions – it has also come-out how social-media platforms, and most of all Twitter, was colluding hand-in-hand w/ the Biden administration to sensor what the Biden administration wanted censored (the government basically doing an end-around the 1st-ammendment). All Elon has stated is that there would be more-freedom on Twitter w.r.t. what is posted vs it being only-one-sided – yet the lefties lost-it b/c apparently they feel “free speech” is only limited to their personal lefty beliefs – most social media today blocks things that are true if they don’t pass the woke-test; and allow lies if they fit-the-allowed-narrative.

    Florida Man Make Announcement
Trump has positives that many Republicans/Conservatives like; but too-many negatives - DeSantis enjoyed a red-wave in Florida that seems to have cemented-him as the right-man-for-the-job in the eyes of many Republicans/Conservatives - there is too-much-shit going-on now in the country and w/ elections and Republicans need someone that knows how to navigate the political-swamp - DeSantis has proven capable of knowing how to effectively-deal w/ the swamp and the fake-news-media, something that Trump was/seems unable to do - Trump's "bull in a china shop" approach got a lot of things done in his 4-years; but he was unable to effectively deal w/ the swamp and even many in his own party. I saw a recent article that two billionaire GOP donors had come out that they would not support Trump this go-around - even Trump's daughter Ivanka said she would not get involved in the 2024-campaign - Trump has been vilified to the point that his name has been made toxic - in-lieu of DeSantis I think Trump would likely be the GOP nominee; but almost all Republicans/Conservatives seem to be eyeing DeSantis as the best-way-forward.

Every strip club is turning into a night club and you'll pay with Bitcoin
I’m no business-person/entrepreneur; so hard for me to say it this would work or not – there are businesses (strip club or not) that try to “branch out” to attract a larger-customer-base and are very-successful; and there are businesses that “branch out” and fail in their effort. I can see certain clubs doing well if they do it right – as @Warrior mentioned, E11even in downtown Miami is a hybrid nightclub/strip-club and kinda a party-club and seems very-popular (never been) – Tootsies Miami on the weekends seems to get filled w/ a lot of partiers that seem to be there mostly for the vibe/scene vs buying dances or doing VIPs – so I can see it working for the club but makes me wonder if the dancers will do well in that type of environment where it’s more about the scene/vibe/party vs getting with the dancers. I don’t think this would be the end of “conventional” strip-clubs – I would think there would still be a demand for them – what I would see as competition for mileage-strip-clubs is if brothels/prostitution became legal (seems in other countries where prostitution/brothels are legal; strip-clubs are not much of a thing or they are few in #s and often not that good).

Can club scan your id without telling you and risks of club having your info?
I can't think of any other private-business where one's ID is scanned – kinda seems/feels like an overreach w.r.t. one’s privacy; not to mention the possibility of one’s personal-data being hacked. I “assume” that it can be used for “keeping out trouble-makers” – but I wonder if that is being used as an excuse – big-data is a big-thing now-a-days and perhaps many of these clubs are using this to gain data on customer demographics attending their club etc, and using “it’s a security measure” as an excuse for wanting to gather data. I recall not-too-long-ago many clubs used to deny-entry to unaccompanied-women (not sure how many still do this) – the “rationale” was that they were working-girls there to look for “business prospects” – as some TUSCL-vets may recall, a few years ago a club in SoCal (in COI I think) got sued for denying entry to an accompanied-female – this female was a lesbian that liked hitting strip-clubs and she let the club know that but still got denied-entry – anyway she sued the club (I don’t recall what the result of the law-suit was but I think/assume the club lost) – anyway this makes me wonder if a custy sues w.r.t. being denied entry into a club if he doesn’t allow the club to *scan* his ID if the club would lose that suit (given that no other private business AFAIK has such a requirement)?

    Re-reading my own Reviews
Hardly ever - I've done it a time or two more out-of-curiosity to see how I have "evolved" as a PL - when I read my first few TUSCL reviews I kinda LOL at how easily I was satisfied back-then when I wasn't aware of what the entire strip-club scene had to offer. Being a variety-PL also means that I'm constantly looking forward to a new adventure/dancer vs sticking w/ the same-old same-old (and why I don't stick to fave-dancers nor usually look-forward to repeating w/ the same dancers except maybe if I haven't been w/ them for a while; and thus why "reliving" old visits doesn't do that much for me) - also; after so many visits over-the-years and so-many-dancers; these days I find it hard to even remember how those dancers looked even if at the time I really enjoyed being w/ them - sometimes reading one of my old-reviews will lubricate-my-memory but still as a variety-PL I'm always more interested on what I haven't experienced vs what I have already-experienced.
