I'm fine. I'm disgusted with my life and myself, but I'm not unhappy about that.

I write it like I mean it, but mostly they just want my money.
“You don't get to play the "both sides are equally culpable" card when one side has been pounding the shit out of it when another has not.”
Both sides are going after the other. The difference is Trump committed crimes. To every one of the indictments Trump’s response has always been “lawfare” “rigged” or “persecution.” You know what he’s never said? “I didn’t do it.”
If the hush money payment wasn’t illegal, why pay $400k to conceal a $130k payment? If he declassified the presidential records, why not respond to National Archives and say “I have them, but they are declassified.” Why engage in a conspiracy to hide the documents and deny that you have them?
His excuses fall apart quickly. He had criminal intent.
He shouldn’t have been prosecuted in the two NY cases. Any good defense lawyer would’ve told him to settle/plea once he was sued/charged. He loves playing the victim.

I understand the implications of the escalation of lawfare just fine thanks. It scares me. It was at the heart of my point that both sides are engaged in the lawfare war and I don’t see how it goes away as we seem to getting more divided as a country. We need a reset button.
I blame McCarthy and McDonnell for this. They had the opportunity to convict Trump when he was impeached for trying to prevent Biden’s inauguration, but they would have risked being primaried. They instead just hoped he’d go away on his own. And now the joke is on all of us.

That’s fine. We appear to agree that it’s both sides, but disagree about when the degree of lawfare matters.
As for the hush money case, I said before it was like Jay Z in 99 Problems getting pulled over for going 55 in a 54. It’s still beyond the law. I agree that suit against Trump should never have been brought, but he was guilty and he knew what he was doing was wrong. Why else agree to pay $130k to Stormy and then pay a total that’s more than double, all so it wouldn’t be a check coming directly for Trump or his company going directly to Stormy? Does that sound like someone who believes what they are doing is innocent?

For all of you saying that lawfare is the threat to our democracy, have you forgot who led the chants of ‘lock her up’ in 2016? Or who held up aid funds to a foreign country while he asked its president to investigate a rival, and then when that failed, asked that they just announce an investigation? Pay any attention to what Gym Jordan is doing with his subpoena power? Or the Biden investigation which has gone on for two years without a crime to investigate and where the key whistleblower was indicted for lying about his evidence on the Bidens?
FFS, I hate having to defend the piece of shit president’s son, but have you ever heard of someone being indicted for tax fraud after they’ve paid all of their taxes, interest and penalties? Or being indicted on a gun charge for a gun that was never fired or used in a crime?
This coin has two sides.

Marriage certainly isn’t for everyone and forever is a long time, during which people change. Hopefully it’s growth, but people change. For those whose first priority is looks, yeah, marriage isn’t for you.

I think it was the democrats’ loyalty (and stupidity) that got them here. If they’d have been more honest with Joe that he’d lost a few mph off his fastball he could’ve eased into this and they’d have had a real primary. Jacked up Joe at the SOTU probably also kept them thinking he could get through the election. Hell of a choice we have in November, and both of them would be lame ducks.

It’s not overpaying if it’s worth it to you. Who gives a fuck what other people are paying? More often than not, we have to compromise something— looks, GFE, personality, availability, price, types of acts — to get the rest of what we want. You had it all and you’re questioning it because she held onto the club just to see you? I think that’s nuts. If you’re ready to move on because after 3 years it’s run its course or you want to cut back, fine, but don’t ruin 3 years of good memories. Sounds like you and she should just do the occasional OTC meet.

“Nobody’s gotten a handjob in cargo shorts since Nam.” lol
While the way it’s organized isn’t as important, it is important to be organized. Only way to keep track, to spend within limits and to know if you’ve lost any of your cash during a cash autopsy the next day. Most importantly, it helps you not make mistakes with spending decisions in the club, which is a risk given it’s dark, there’s a lot of quick spending and there may be drinking or drugs involved.

I’m interested. Vegas actually used to be pretty good for clubs but that was 15 years ago. CH2, OG and when this club was Cheetah and had $10 daytime dances you could have some fun. I’ll be there in Sept but would love a little intel ahead of time.

I don’t carry a wallet in everyday life. DL and my primary credit card in my phone case. For the club, I carry about $200 in 20’s in a front pocket. I try to have some 5’s and 10’s so I can tip the right amount and not risk rounding up. I carry VIP money in 100’s and 20’s in another pocket, preferably one with a zipper or button. In summer, that’s usually a back pocket. In colder weather it might be a shirt or pullover pocket.

Listing simple dislikes is boring. It’s been done. We read about them all the time on this forum. IMO the better question would have been what if a 9 approached you, spent your personally appropriate amount of time with you and then asked for dances or VIP. What would be your reasons for saying no?
Bad breath is problematic but I carry mints and am assertive enough to give one to any girl whose breath isn’t fresh. The most common reason is I’m in the club to see someone else. Other than that, sometimes you just get a vibe that the dance isn’t going to deliver. I can overlook pretty much anything else.

^ I agree with drewcarey 100%.
Yesterday afternoon, The NY Times published a piece citing an anonymous close advisor to Biden, or something like that. The source said Biden asked if he should withdraw. I took the fact that a close advisor was allowed to go to the press with that story as Biden floating a balloon to see what the reaction will be if he pulls out. I didn’t think it was possible before, but I think there’s actually a realistic chance he pulls out. Kamala hasn’t distinguished herself as VP and wasn’t doing well in the 2020 primaries so she’s not my first or sixth choice. I know nothing about Shapiro, but some combination of him, Newsome, Whitmer, Pritzker, Jefferies or Moore would give us the best chance to avoid another four years of Cheeto Mussolini.

I have a credit card on me because I always do. I’ve only used it in the club once in 30 years because I thought I had an opportunity I couldn’t say no to. Nothing stolen, but the club (CH3 in Vegas) added ridiculous fees and I’ll never do it again. Until I need to.

The Kim Kardashian popularized trend toward slim thicc has been good for me. I still see plenty of spinners who are too thin for me and thick girls who are too big for me. That’s the beauty of different strokes. Lots of those girls of all shapes are at the clubs for years and sell. Free market at work is a beautiful thing.

I tend to not be interested in girls under 21, or under 23 or 25 ideally. At least not knowingly. But more girls in the club is a good thing for all customers. Legal issue of denying people old enough to vote and die for their country the ability to make a living from the legal employer of their choice is a real problem.

It’s problematic if you can’t wall off your feelings or thoughts about what she does when she’s not with you, not only in her home life but also ITC. You’re not the only one she’s fucking.
Related, I was sitting with a girl who was wearing a large what I thought was an engagement ring. She said she bought it for herself because it made her feel pretty. Not sure if she was telling the truth but I committed to believing it and took her to VIP.

Not sure what you’re seeing but I’m going to Vegas in a couple of months and hotels are more expensive than they’ve ever been. Reviews here are reporting that the free limo rides and cover charge waiver are back at some clubs so that’s a sign things are trending back, but they are still acting like it’s still in the boom.
