The image of a chain smoking rough drunk dancer yelling from her seat at the other end of the room (too lazy and/or out of it to walk over) "Take me upstairs!" not only tells us everything we need to know but in hindsight I hope you see how hysterical it is too.

My thanks to all who made comments. It is as I've always suspected, a poor value proposition. I will stick with my current strategy. If I hit it off with someone, I just keep buying dances, I tell them don't wear yourself out, we'll be at this awhile. Bonus if we find a quiet corner of the club and double bonus if she doesn't mind me getting a little handsy. Still no extras but if there's none really in the offing anyway, no loss. Locally, Ricks and Flashdancers has some decent length songs and I can get a good 15-20m out of $100 in normal dances.

Sad, I had a few good dances there but it was always empty. It doesn't leave allot of choices left around there.

Right, NYC is expensive but one of the few places where lappers are still $20 and don't buy what a girl tells you about her charging more (I'm looking at you VIVID). VIP seems a typical at $800 an hour though there may be shorter times for less. I've been told things are less stringent in there but I've never partaken. I always wary of hidden charges. I didn't know Show Palace was the only nude club. Fairly convenient though from Manhattan by subway to Queens Boro Plaza. It's also been one of the locations of choice for a Strip Club in NYC in TV and Movies. Watch out for the hustlers, always get a good bit of chat and you'll get a fine dance. Flashdancers (both locations) and Rick's are my faves but each can be a hit or miss. In before 8p at either Flashdancers location is only a $10 cover. There's places on the far west side of Manhattan too but I never venture that far over. Read a few reviews though of each place you might be interested in. If your roaming the streets near some clubs, they might have guys handing out free passes.

I wouldn't necessarily chalk it up to AVN being in town, sounds more typical to me, though I shudder to imagine the extent of the gouging when the Super Bowl comes to town.

My time's more limited nowadays so I can usually only spare about an hour, I find the right girl and it's an easy $300 burn - hell, if I don't find the right girl and I do some road testing instead, I'd probably still spend about $300. Back when I had more time to spend and bar tabs were longer, I could spend over $1000 per visit, but you know what, still about $300 an hour. A few days in a row of that is a bad thing but strip club money seems to come from a different place.

Mass transit or walking if you're in Manhattan, don't drive in the city because the traffic is terrible and the parking is expensive. Girls always dropped the upsell when I told them I wasn't interested. They know it's expensive.

I'm going to rescind my recommendations and it makes me really sad to do so. These places had some good times for me bus as I said, I haven't been back there since before the COVID and when I read the newest reviews it seems that all these places have just gone super greedy from the cover charges on in. Maybe they are trying to make up for lost revenue. Anyway, good luck. Chicas Bonitas seemed to be getting good reviews lately and maybe Mate27 suggestion about going to PHX instead might be helpful.

My favorites have been Crazy Horse III and Treasures. If you want to have a meal too, nice steakhouse at Treasures. I have had mixed results at Treasures though dance wise over the years, good nights and bad, run ins with some ROBs from time to time. Big on the upsell there. Been a while since I've been back so take it with what it's worth. After the latest reviews, agree that Rhino and Sapphire are 2 to avoid. They are a mill anyway and you wouldn't necessarily get the attention you want. On another note. Good luck with the boy. I would have never wanted my father to take me to my first strip club but that's me. (Yeah, I won't be taking my son to his first SC either when he comes of age).

Actually I wasn't surprised at Trump's lawyer's look. Recent reviewer for Rhino was saying the same thing about the pricing. These 2 have always been full of themselves. They are a mill and a griff for poser PLs in my opinion. I've had more fun and my money went (a little) farther at many of the smaller clubs around town.

Honestly, I don't begrudge anyone who wants to tip $1000 for an air dance in VIP or hand a girl $100 because she smiled at you as she walked past. You're welcome to be the more magnanimous individual, besting the other PLs in a dick measuring competition to get some stripper's attention. TUSCL has always been a place of reviews, recommendations, advice and opinions about this "hobby." For those of us, most of us I'd guess on some sort of budget, I'm questioning the value proposition on tipping, especially outrageous tipping. If you're getting higher mileage and a menu of extras because of it, more power to you and great info to share. If you're lamenting always falling for a ROBs promises and tricks, heed the warning because no matter how high a tip you could still get diddly. I do alright not tipping regularly, that's my experience. And I find the girls who are asking for a tip are usually not the ones deserving it.

Hair color doesn't matter to me at all although I'm glad the trend for grey dyed hair seems to have peeked. That was weird.

HM, that didn't sink in? The aside? A mom was there picking up her daughter (who we assume works at the club). Time for homework? Reminds me of a bad club in deep dark Texas I once went to. Would love to see that question on an SAT! The standard $20. I think that's one thing NYC has over allot of other places. I haven't been to a club here yet where it's more than that. I can't believe the amount of reviews I've been reading where regular lappers are $30-$40+. Seems like the VIPs in those places can be the better deal though as NYC goes straight for the $$$ in VIP.
