NYC VIP Advice?

New York City
Since getting back in the swing in NYC just over a year ago, I've been getting credible, desirable and tempting suggestions for going VIP - sometimes the dancer doesn't suggest it but I'm thinking it. So my question to my fellow mongers in the big city - is it really worth the money here? If I'm pondering dropping a grand, I've got to know what I'm in for. What are the add-ons. I've done VIP in other places, Vegas in particular and there is always, oh it's a 2 drink minimum at premium prices, there's a tip to the host/hostess, fees on CCs (I'm gonna carry $1k+ in cash in midtown?). I'm not necessarily against the extras, I paid them in Vegas and other places when I understood the game. I think I've gotten away rather cheap lately when I think about what I used to spend in a night. But it's all about the bang for the buck (no pun intended). Thoughts? Suggestions? Stick with getting multiple lappers since it's all the same anyway?

On another front, I've been in VIP with a waitress coming in every few minutes asking if we want a(nother) drink. What's the privacy and/or leave us alone factor?

Thanks for any comments.

I love NYC but it's not a good place for strip clubbing.

If you’re in NYC, want a sure thing, and are considering spending $1K, get an escort. That kind of money will get you a quality hour with a stunner.

Be careful with the escort option. Despite there being lawlessness in the city, busting escorts and their clients may be among the top LE focus.

i'd rather spend 1K at the racetrack than in any of the NYC shitholes masquerading as strip clubs.

escorts, street girls, etc. currently is the way to go. this way will also not cost you 1K.

hell for 1K you might even able to find a retail clerk at a mall that's hotter than any of the above options.

Ricks Cabaret - you can get the private for 30 mins for about $400-500. If you go during the day, you will have no competition. Even at night, ask your fav girl for her number to arrange a private room another time.

Does NYC even have a viable SW scene, other than with the migrants in Queens?

there's one known as the penn stroll out in brooklyn. many clips of that on youtube. and then there's certain spots where the asian girls work at over in flushing queens.

but the migrant queens scene is by far the most well known and documented. way more entertaining and value for your hard earned dollars.

===> "is it really worth the money here?"

Generally speaking, fuck no.

That includes Dougmann's recommendation of Ricks. $400-500 might sound like a bargain, though that doesn't include the girl's tip. But you won't get much for it besides maybe a woody. There are cameras back there and the girls generally won't do extras.

Also, in the places where more can be had, you'll pay closer to $1,500-2,000 for the privilege. To each his own, but IMO that's very steep for a single nut.

I've always had the most fun in NYC by clubbing in Queens and Brooklyn and arranging OTC. Though even then don't expect any bargains compared to almost any other city you club in. NYC is an expensive place to monger in.

Funontheside you specifically go out of your way to look for cheap extras at places like ebony inn… NYC obviously has a SW scene but obviously it may not be dirt cheap like ebony inn and other places.

I can't tell if OP is looking for advice on add-ons/extras as including cost of drink/tax/general tip in NYC VIP rooms that only offer camera-ed dances. OR if he's asking for advice on cost/availability of extras (cough, cough) in various VIP club sections with privacy.

If it's the former, IDK what to say. CC fees and cost of drinks doesn't seem like the biggest concern when dropping $1,000 on a VIP room that doesn't even offer true extras at all (think Rick's, Sapphire, etc).

If it's the latter, then yes, prepare to lay down at least $2K for establishments that full fun VIP in Manhattan.

My thanks to all who made comments. It is as I've always suspected, a poor value proposition. I will stick with my current strategy. If I hit it off with someone, I just keep buying dances, I tell them don't wear yourself out, we'll be at this awhile. Bonus if we find a quiet corner of the club and double bonus if she doesn't mind me getting a little handsy. Still no extras but if there's none really in the offing anyway, no loss. Locally, Ricks and Flashdancers has some decent length songs and I can get a good 15-20m out of $100 in normal dances.

If the intentions of what you're looking for in the VIP isn't clear between both parties then it ain't happening. At least assume that
