A beautiful stop ruined by exploitation

I will start by saying that this place is extraordinarily exploitative of its customers, using hidden fees and underhanded tactics to rack up the prices. This would go so far as to interrupt VIP dances. I plan on never returning. I cannot recommend coming here unless you have hundreds or thousands of dollars extra to lose. That being said, I figured I should give the devil his dues and do a full review regardless. Note that this night was both a weekend and a night where AVN was taking place, so my experience may be an anomaly - based on the club's history, however, I doubt it. They also offered extras, but again, this may just be because of it being AVN weekend.

Starting with the setting: I was visiting Las Vegas for AVN (a porn convention) from 01/26 ~ 01/28. I brought plenty extra planning to spend on some SCs - it's the weekend, so the clubs were surely charging more. On the way to my hotel, I saw a sign about a club doing a grand re-opening: Scores Las Vegas. After some research online, I learned that they gave free rides to and from the club with no cover charge (cover is normally $50). I had read on TUSCL that the club was pretty exploitative, but many of the reviews were quite old. I figured I would give it a shot if the cover was free.

I called in to set up a ride, and I spoke with Julio - the star of my night (you can see how poorly this would go if my driver was my favorite part of the night). An absolutely pleasant large African-American man who was good at conversation and fairly funny. On the phone, he quoted me a free ride to the club and back from my hotel, two free drinks, and a free cover. I had an excellent ride, and I gave the man a $10 tip for the free ride - he deserved it. Once I arrived at the club I was patted down and let in. As I approached the front desk, I asked about the free cover and two drinks. There was a free cover for riding with the club, but no free drinks.
