BTW, my comments are not a diss of others who dress differently. This is purely MY experience and observations in MY area.

What I wear is for my own benefit, but it generally seems to get me a few points. Dressing well seems to communicate that you give a damn, and seeing as how my #1 quality in a SC is not being an asshole, this is a good initial way to communicate that fact. FWIW, my SC uniform is: * Microfiber dress slacks, b/c dancers don't grind against denim. (I actually learned that little tidbit here at TUSCL.) The other night, my fave thanked me after a couple couch dances for "letting me rub my ass all over your pants." * Shirt that buttons; doesn't have to be a dress shirt, though. But after a dancer undid 3 of my buttons at the tip rail, I don't want to take away another dancer's opportunity to do the same -- and though 3 is the "record", it's happened a few times since. So I never wore a polo to a SC again.

From the same dancer that I'm taking to VIP? Always! My dougster is dumb enough to where it's happily surprised every time that it yells "more" out on the floor and I say "ok".

@juice, plus points for getting the point, even if it's no longer your thing. minus points for talking about yourself in the third person. ;-)

RFCookie raises a good point, though. A lot of times when the dancers are at each others' throats all the time, there's a palpable sensation in the air as soon as you walk into the club. But I never felt that at Oasis. Of course, if my ATATF was there, I'd forget to breathe, so maybe I'm not the best judge of what was in the air. ;-)

@Che, that's the kind of thing I was getting at. Thank you for having reading comprehension skills higher than an eggplant. ;-) I feel sorry for the kind of guy that can't appreciate it when non-nut-popping fun occurs in a SC.

@3LM, trying to see where I said that it was the "highlight of the night". Trying to see where I said anything that anyone could *possibly* interpret as having implied that. Suspecting that the first sentence was applicable to you. FWIW, the "highlight of the night" was nutting in the VIP with my fave earlier. But there's not much conversation to be had about that.

Apparently rule #4 is super seekrit. ;-) The whole sex thing is in the air. Looking back, there ARE dancers that, had I slept with them, the magic would be gone. But others probably would've gotten MORE money from me in the long run. For a dancer to just say "NEVER" is as narrow and short-sighted as the customer who thinks there's only one way to enjoy a SC. If you want to shoot yourself in the foot just to abide by some arbitrary rule you dreamed up when you were drunk, that's your prerogative. We've got "zero tolerance" laws in a lot of other parts of society; why not SCs too? ;-)

I find it amusing that this happened at Oasis. My ATATF danced there and after a VIP with her, she'd go back to dressing room for a bit before rejoining me to hang out for a while and maybe give another LD or three. And she always INSISTED that I get dances from others if the opportunity arose (and I was interested in them) while she was gone. Granted, she had just made big money from me, but she was still cheating herself out of more small money. Another ATF (from another club) would actually pimp dances for other dancers. "Would you get a dance from so-and-so? She's having a bad night." I know that both of these are uncommon. But the whole thing just struck me since you mentioned Oasis to start with.

motorhead, that's not really an example of any recent issue. "Huck Finn" has been banned for decades by allegedly intelligent adults (who, btw, you NEVER want to see stripping). Fuck historical accuracy; someone's feelings might get hurt.

I hear ya, motorhead. The first and only escort I tried (well, if this whole site wasn't fiction) was doing it (pun intended) part time to supplement other work-at-home gigs. She is older, so her appeal was moreso limited to older guys like me, who (on the whole) tend not to be the maniacs that require many escorts to require references.

I bet the odds are way higher on stupidity than autocomplete.

I sent a note to ask why and they said because I was new and hadn't submitted any reviews yet. I sent another note pointing out the asininity of that statement, so then they changed their story to that the escort was new and had no reviews already. I sent another note pointing out that that was bullshit as she had 5 other reviews. Never heard back from them again.

8-ish at Pink Pony. I'm more liberal with # of dances there, b/c I never do VIP there. I say "ish" because the dancer (the charmingly schizophrenic Rita) and I both lost track. She said, "Let's call it 6." I told her that I thought it was more than that, but she didn't care.

Riffing off motorhead, I watched John Pinette's latest special last night. He was talking about "Cake Boss" -- "I didn't know that you could arbitrarily name yourself as boss of a type of food." He then declares himself "Ham Boss" and goes into an excellent Brando-as-Corleone riff.
