Clubber's post reminds me of a story I see published in editorials every few years. It goes something like this.
Five friends of various incomes meet weekly for drinks at a local bar.
They pay their tab according to their income levels. Of the $100 tab, Tony, who is a wealthy business owner pays 50%, and the rest chip in for the balance. The bar owner one day says that since they have been such good regular customers, he is going to discount 10% from future tabs. ( kind of like getting a tax decrease). On the next visit, the tab was $90. Tony pays 45 and leaves. The remaining four split the $45. Afterward they become angry because they only saved $1 each, but Tony saved $5. In their drunken fury, they find Tony and beat him up. Tony says fuck this and stops attending the weekly drinkfest.
The remaining four now have to pay more for their drinks, but they can not afford it and stop meeting.

Good post clubber, the only problem is that most liberals still feel enttiled to wealth distribution and logic is irrelevant.

I think at Tootsies, sexual contact is their "warm hospitality".
At $300 this may turn out to be a fairly crowded event.

I have absolutely no need to discuss TUSCL with dancers. I do however tell them my name is Dougster from TUSCL when I want them to leave me alone. It works every time.

It comes down to preference. When I was younger I chased skirt in bars and was pretty successful. Dinner and a movie usually got sex. A lot of time you just need a date or two and feign interest in the person. Now it is just simpler to go to a SC or AMP, choose your girl and get what you want.

In addition, as I am sure phpl can attest to, successful people tend to have better pot and higher standards. You can appreciate good pot just as well as you can appreciate a good wine.

S cat, my comment was not directed at you. But since you bring it up, your comment that people you used to associate with at parties did not amount to much seems a little judgemental from someone under the influence of alcohol at 11 am. I know several successful potheads. It is my guess that fewer people have messed up lives due to pot than alcohol. Regardless of choice of drug, successful people tend to associate with successful people, and losers tend to associate with losers.

I see nothing wrong with pot use in moderation. I have been known to indulge before a SC visit. It definately adds to the experience. I have never seen a pot user fall down stairs like a drunk.

If you can not find a dancer a St James that gives high contact dances, you should give up the hobby. I get asked if I am a player more than I ask if the dancer is.

A recent review of St James said the reviewer had a choice of a room with or without a curtain, and he chose the curtain. I have never seen curtains in the 4+ years I have been visiting the club.

In my experience with Phx clubs there is no sex ITC. However, with the right girl I have had exceptional dances at Bourbon Street and Centerfolds VIP areas. The HiLiter always had good dances without VIP with the right girl.

Management may have less liability with ind contractors as opposed to employees. If they had to pay employees, mabe there would not be so many fuglies.

I prefer the warm weather. I do not go clubbing as often in the extreme cold as I like to wear shorts. I have noticed that I do not get as many colds/illnesses since I stopped clubbing in the cold.

I agree with Dudester. 20+ years ago, the Ricks in Houston was the premier club. Now it is not even close in comparison.

It is probably a regional thing. Phoenix has always had an abundance of young hard bodies. I have not been in Houston long enough to go back 15 years, but in the last 4 the talent has been consistent. I used to travel a lot in the 80's, and remember that the areas that have hot women now had them then.

Increased margins do not always come from price increases. In this case, the increase could be attributed to increased revenue with a less proportionate increase in costs. Maybe the A club customers started going to more B clubs.
