Damn, dude, you do grade harsh! I also happened to be there Saturday night. The talent was a little below 390's normal standard -- and as you mentioned, more overweight women than you normally see there -- but I definitely thought there were several higher than a 7. And I thought I was tough on ratings! :)

Fizman, including the trip I posted about, I've had at least two trips since June that were not worth it. I had a trip in April that was looking very bad until it was saved by a great dancer, but I haven't seen her there since.

Not sure this is entirely on point, but here goes: This is why I never, ever mention dancers by name in my reviews. If I have a bad experience with a girl, it doesn't mean you will. Also, if a girl gets a reputation as a ROB but later changes her ways, she won't be able to shake the reputation. It's more important to know how to recognize a ROB than to try to steer clear of certain names.
Lastly, of course, if you know how to treat the ladies you won't meet as many bad ones.

Good call, I actually asked my girl about that. She said girls are trying to come over from other closed clubs, but since there's only 10 dancers allowed, the club is giving priority to girls who worked at Polekatz NWI previously.

Lots of good theories on here. I think it does have something to do with going to Chicago clubs. Guess it's time for a road trip ...
That said, a couple thoughts:
* I think you can tell a true 18- or 19-year-old girl. She can make up her face to look older, and the older ones can make up to look younger. But you can't change your body. Even the hottest, most fit, thinnest 30-year-old is not as thin as a thin 19-year-old, because she hasn't started growing out yet. Those girls who look like you could fit one hand around their waist -- a 30-year-old just can't copy that. (Although I have gotten many, many very good dances from 30-something dancers.)
* These days I'm mostly going to Club 390 and Atlantis. These are upscale for the Chicago area, so they might be cost-prohibitive for younger dancers. If anyone knows what club all the 19-year-olds are at in Chicago, let me know! :)

I definitely still see college-age dancers in Vegas clubs.
Interesting point about non-alcoholic clubs. Back when Industrial Strip was NA (and fully nude), I used to go there a lot, and I would see a lot of younger strippers there. Now it's no longer NA, and I don't go there because it's topless only and there are full nude clubs on the Illinois side of the border. And I'm not sure there are any other non-alcoholic clubs in the Chicago area. (Maybe Admiral Theater, which is no-touch and therefore no-go.)

I've never noticed it. I'd think it would be tough for that scam to last very long -- maybe some people wouldn't notice, maybe most people wouldn't notice, but there will always be someone who notices and it only takes one complaint for management (and, maybe more importantly, other waitresses) to catch on.

Had it happen twice, and nothing to brag about either time. The first time, it turned out she just wanted me to buy crack for her (not my field). The second time, in Vegas, she told me I should hang out with her and her friends the next night, and gave me her number without me asking. I assumed she just wanted me to pay for her and her girlfriends to go clubbing, but called anyway just for the hell of it, and never heard back from her, which I took to mean she found some other ATM.

I've been clubbing in the Chicago area for a good 15 years, and in my experience the economy doesn't have much of an effect on mileage. Most clubs around here have their own level at all times; a few go up and down in mileage, but it doesn't correspond to the economy (I'm guessing it has more to do with how closely the cops and city councils are watching).
What I have noticed, though, is that good economic times tend to bring out more dancers. You might think it would be the other way around, because there are more women who need money in bad times, but there's also a lot less money being spent at SC's in a slow economy. There may be more girls who give stripping a try, but there are fewer who stick around. The added competition in a strong economy seems to put pressure on the girls to keep up the same level of mileage they've always had, in my experience.

Samsung, thanks for posting. It seems that troop's and harry's reviews have already been taken down, unfortunately. As for the shill reviews, even if you can't prove they're written by shills, they should still be taken down for being just this side of incomprehensible. I know we're not expecting professional-level writing here, but wow, those are painful to read.

Happened to me once. I was playing with a stripper's boobs when all of the sudden she pulled away from me. Then she got a big smile and said "open your mouth". So I did. And she squeezed her boob and squirted -- and hit the target from a couple feet away! I was extremely surprised, but it was fun. This was about 10 years ago, but I remember it tasting very salty.

Club O. They are fully naked on stage and have fully naked private dances for $30 a song with really good grindage. You can also get topless dances for $20 a song, but I have no idea if it's the same level of grindage because I've never turned down the fully nude option.
Club O has the advantage of being immediately off the highway. PoleKatz is very close to a highway; Club 390 is out in the sticks. In my experience 390 is the most expensive, followed by PoleKatz and then Club O, but you can spend a ton of money in any of those three if you let yourself.
BTW, most people (myself included) would tell you that Industrial Strip in Hammond, Ind., is the best club in the Chicago area, and they do have fully nude private dances with very good grindage but they do not serve alcohol.
