Closed On A Thursday Afternoon

I drove down on a Thursday afternoon to finally experience the wonders of the day shift that I've heard about hear and in previous (nighttime) visits to the club. Signage on the door, and info on here, indicates that they open at noon on weekdays. However, when I arrived at roughly 2:30 p.m., there were no cars in the parking lot and the doors were locked. A phone call to the club didn't go through. I peeked in the door and they had Halloween decorations up, which makes me believe they were still open relatively recently (I was there the first week in November). So I don't know if they simply didn't have people working that day, or have had a temporary COVID closure, or are no longer open during the day, or they're completely out of business or what. The phone number out of service is not a good sign, though.

Based on previous visits, I can tell you the facility is nothing special. It's a medium sized room with a small bar to the left and a stage in the upper right corner. The furniture is low-end but at least in good repair (nothing's broken/taped up/etc.). Drinks are reasonably priced, and dances used to be $20 a song. In my peek in the window, one of the decorations was a witch holding a chalkboard on which someone had written "Dances $25". That would be an increase from my last visit.

Overall, I don't know what's going on at Fantasy. It's worth monitoring and trying to give them a call before heading out there if you're looking to go.
