Is it possible that your definition of rude/disrespectful is so unique to you that he is simply clueless about how you want to be treated? This seems unlikely but I have known women who expected to be worshiped and showered with gifts as a sign of respect, and often failed to reciprocate with similar effort in a relationship.
Have you given him any feedback about his behavior. If he is unwilling to hear and acknowledge corrective feedback or unwilling to make an effort to treat you better, then dump him and move on. If he is treating you poorly at this stage of a relationship, then just think how he will treat you when the magic of a new sex partner begins to wear off.

Your money, so you decide how to spend it. For the record, many clubs charge $20 per dance. $40 is on the higher end (unless you are getting more than just a dance).

This is a recurring problem with this club -- GPS prices and boycotts of customers who are "cheap" (actually I don't consider an offer of 150 for 20 minutes of "work" in a private dance to be a cheap offer).

In spite of the sexy outfits, suggestive dancing and stripper poles, it wasn't sexy enough for the horny bastards segment of the viewership. But it was too sexy for the pre teens and church lady segment of the viewership. When the show if based on sex appeal rather than great music, it is impossible to get it just right.
Never been a fan of JLo or Shakira but I appreciated the energy and the dancing.

The private dance areas are curtained and to my knowledge do not have any wall hangers for clothing. If you carry your wallet in your pants, I recommend a buttoned or zipped pocket. If and you have reason to remove those pants during a dance, I recommend that you place your pants over one arm of the couch where they are visible rather than leave the pants on the floor where they might be more vulnerable to a thief.

I misread this title. I thought it was an escort clearance service called T&A Precheck for customers.
I also have TSA precheck and it does save lots of time in busy airports. Well worth the $85 dollars for 5 years.

Some of the above stories perplex me and further peak my curiosity. Why would a girl working in a relatively safe strip club (at least relative to working the escort scene or the streets) rely on a pimp who provides so little obvious benefit to the dancer. I'm sure the reasons are complex and vary from dancer to dancer. I suspect that the "drug connection pimp." the "business manager pimp" and the "deadbeat boyfriend pimp" are the major pimp roles. Like others, I would prefer that clubs ban pimps and boyfriends.

Thanks for the clarification, good Sir. I don't live in Portland but I scan the Portland reviews because I travel there, infrequently. I certainly trust your report on good two way mileage in Portland clubs; maybe I'm conflating "two way mileage" with "extras" when I'm drawing broad conclusions about limited mileage.

I would suspect that the "Rev" would have more than one of his reviews selected for the HOF, but he'd have some competition.
For clarification, the HOF would be for reviews, not for reviewers. And it would only apply to those reviews that had been published. I agree with gsteph that the current review process is OK for separating the junk from the acceptable reviews. However, there is a wide range of published reviews and some merit special recognition (HOF status).
I would envision browsing the HOF reviews for entertainment value. Some reviews were great reads, some were "rousing" reads and some were just great sources of chuckles and smiles.

However, I'm a bit fuzzy on the defining features of entrapment. Does it matter if the accused made the offer of if the police officer made the offer?
Regardless, this is yet another reason to legalize and regulate prostitution.

Good review. If eye candy and limited contact dances are all that you expect out of a strip club visit, then MV is good. Otherwise, it is overrated and out of date when compared to clubs that allow more personal contact.

Good review. I stopped by more recently and I was generally impressed with the talent. There were a few older and heavier dancers but lots of young attractive dancers. Prices are still reflective of an upscale club, including a $20 VIP access fee.

The world is always changing, strip clubs included. From my perspective, three factors are probable contributors:
1) GPS side effects. Some girls are attempting to charge high fees for a brief ITC encounter. This drives customers away in the long run. Always remember that 3 x $200 is much more than 1 x $400. And this imbalance is made worse when the $400 sucker decides that it wasn't worth the money and spends his money elsewhere.
2) The rise of internet porn
3) Casual hookup culture, often made even easier through lots of apps and smart phone programs.
