This smells like entrapment to me.

I agree that it feels like entrapment.

However, I'm a bit fuzzy on the defining features of entrapment. Does it matter if the accused made the offer of if the police officer made the offer?

Regardless, this is yet another reason to legalize and regulate prostitution.

What a waste of a perfectly good burger

Perfectly reasonable. After all, it's far more appropriate for police to be ridding our streets of bicycle riding johns than it is for them to be investigating all the rapes and assaults that are happening. Safer too! Kudos to these fine examples of law enforcement!

LEO to the rescue! The guy did not have enough money on him to get FUCKED by the lady in blue ! So, she decided to SCREW him well with just a burger. I bet she learned that trick in POPO school. She and her precinct should be proud.

Bet he would have gotten away with it if it was a bacon cheeseburger!

Do you think they have different standards in New Mexico (nothing against people from NM, of course!)

I thought it was legal to offer someone dinner in exchange for sex afterwards.

Most prostitution busts do involve entrapment.
