it isn't based on political party, it is based on individual lawmakers that like to pretend they are moral authorities and others who are afraid to not yell "me, too!" when the legislation is proposed. No one will ever be voted out of office for closing down strip clubs - but many people would base their votes on that platform. That is the real answer.

100%, it depends on the girl. You are gambling, unless you know the girl from previous experience. Many, many times, the VIP is no better than the floor. Sometimes, though, it is much, much better. Best bet is to go with your gut until you find a few that will do what you want / expect. At least then, you'll have a sure thing if you want it. Gamble when you feel like it.

good to know about the high drink minimum. When I decline a VIP (maybe 2 in every 5 times), it's because the drink minimum is stupid. I don't want that much alcohol. If that's the condition of using the room, I'll just skip it. Girls to the room are about the same price, at that point. Clubs need to get rid of the drink minimums, beyond the first 2. Makes me stop spending money.

Accurate. I've been here and had the exact same experience. Was hoping for a nice place to have some beers when in town, with a few dances. It's a dive and not worth the time or effort.

Listen, there are plenty places that will treat you just as anyone else. If the place(s) you've been going don't do that, don't go back. If they don't want you there, for whatever the reason, just find a new place. I'm not black & I have been in plenty places that I just didn't gel with the vibe.
