At least the Food is Good

I go to this place every time I'm in town, lately, primarily for the food in the restaurant. Doesn't speak well for the club part.

I got here late and had already had a dinner but went in anyway. Drove myself, cover was $30 on this Monday and I got two drink tickets that I used against my bill in the restaurant. A dancer did come in about halfway through my meal and I was happy she sat and chatted. She wasn't much of a conversationalist but we made it through. Went out to the floor after dinner and I opened a tab with a waitress. Not many dancers or customers around it seemed in the large place. I got talked into an upstairs room for VIP, $200 for a half hour plus $100 for 4 drinks (and $20 to tip out the host when we left) - I think. Had a fine experience but I'm going to swear off VIP in that place because the drink minimum is just too much. (Hey, you guys paying attention? You got a goddamn ad on the Las Vegas page after all, you must read the reviews)

Went back downstairs and tipped a dancer on the small stage (they weren't using the large one). She came over and we chatted a bit, thought we were getting a long great. She did a couple of floor dances stopped, paid her and we chatted some more. She got up a couple of times to use the restroom. I bought her couple of drinks. She did a couple more dances and stopped and said maybe I should pay her $200 now. I was a bit taken aback. Well, she said, did you think you were just going to pay for dances? I'm spending all this time with you. (I glanced at the thin customer presence). I told her I had planned on giving her 100 towards dances and that's what I would give her now and then she could go if she wanted. I apologized for misunderstanding (I was still a bit confused over what was happening since I thought we were getting along). She left and I sat a bit bewildered and then just let it go. A short time later, I heard her name called to the stage, once, twice, three times. She never showed up. Guess she was just fed up. My first girl from VIP came by. I got a couple of floor dances from her and left.
