Dire Straits. Even the last album in 1991 was at least passable. The first five albums and the live album Alchemy between 1978-1985 were all great.

Ski - CCR until "Mardi Gras" I still don't understand Fogerty allowing the other two to not just write songs, but sing. Bad idea and a bad album. All the previous albums are ace though.

Anywhere there are Titties.
I'm a routine speeder. Just a lack of patience I suppose. I've been fortunate with regard to tickets though, I think the last speeding ticket I got was on the Harbor Thruway in Baltimore about 20 years ago on the way to a family event in Northern Virginia.

If I were in that Zoom session, I'd have had an extremely hard time keeping my composure.

To see Aerosmith go from the band that did "Toys in the Attic" and "Rocks" to becoming a band for 13 year old girls...painful.

I have one beer when I hit the clubs, then switch to water. My best friend is a OUI/DUI attorney and I know how much his fees are. I've said to him many times that I'm happy to refer clients to him, but I don't to be one.
That's just me though. We're all grown men here, each can make his own decisions. I'm just risk averse. Plus I'd rather spend the money on pussy than on booze anyways.

Trouble getting enough workers is no joke. One of my clients is a small trucking company. They've had difficulty getting a full time driver paying $75-80k per year to start, plus full benefits. Every now and again, I'll speak to the owner who is in his 60s and he'll be on the road hundreds of miles away because he can't find drivers and had to make the run himself.

No prenup. Oy vey. This is very good news for the Seattle matrimonial bar if nothing else. Two teams of lawyers will be very happy by the time this hashes out.

I've always had fun when I've visited Montreal, but the time years ago that I went there for New Year's Eve with some friends was a mistake. So cold that when you went outside the inside of your notice almost instantly froze. I'll go back again, but never in the middle of winter.

Papi - part of the problem with that is that some places that are the boondocks don't necessarily stay the boondocks. Ten years out they're an "exurb", twenty years out they're a suburb, and the folks in charge don't want a strip club in their hood and do everything they can to get rid of it.

Big fan of Chick Fil A. Love me some Five Guys. Also been a fan of Jersey Mike's since they moved into my area.

I went on a Sunday afternoon two or three weeks ago as well. Was also very sparse/quiet. I ended up leaving with a full wallet and I'd have to categorize it as a failed trip.

I've yet to see one review that would make me want to check this place out. All indications are that Skibum's description is apt.

"Business like" is an apt description of the Cubanas in general. Many are attractive, most will follow through with what was agreed to, but they are about the 180 degree opposite of GFE. As long as you understand the deal and aren't looking for more, they're usually fine.

Only when I visit Florida. Smell like an ashtray every time after hitting a club there, and it's all the more noticeable to me coming from Massachusetts where it's basically no smoking just about everywhere. I'm willing to put up with it for a couple/few hours to have a good time, though it would be an even better time without the smoking.

Good Chinese food. There are more quality places within a 15-20 minute drive than you can shake a stick at. Whenever I visit Florida it never ceases to amaze me at how you cannot find decent Chinese food down there, so I'm thankful.

A couple of weeks ago at Desires. Glad that it is back to normal-ish, or at least enough so that a good time can be had again. It'll be nice when things get back to normal normal again for PVD in general, not just Desires.

It's been a couple of years since I've been to SoFla. I always enjoyed this place in the past and had lots of fun times. I have to say, I don't like the sound of these changes. I'm sure I'll check it out next time I'm in the area, but I think I'll be tempering my expectations. Not all change is for the better...

AOC makes me think of a line from Daryl Hannah's character in Wall Street about being an interior designer: "a great spender of other people's money" Or at least AOC aspires to be. Ten TRILLION on an infrastructure plan? GTFO.

mikey - No, not an alias of Skibum, but you do have the Jewish lawyer part right. You are an anti-semite LCD piece of shit and this site (and many others) would be far better off without disgusting trolls like you. You keep being you though.

The fight scene between Richard Gere and Lou Gossett, Jr. near the end of An Officer and a a Gentlemen is one of the most realistic fight scenes I've ever scene. They don't just eat shots from each other, every blow hurts and is felt, like in reality. Was always impressed by it.
Also, the final swordfight scene in Rob Roy between Liam Neeson and Tim Roth. I like the way the characters quickly get exhausted swinging the swords around.

I wasn't aware Jack In The Box had ever been in Massachusetts. You learn something new every day.
