Last time Trump faced one of the most unlikable candidates I've ever seen, she was despised by large swaths of her own party. I don't know how it'll go, lots of time left, but I don't think it's any kind of slam dunk.

I'm not for widespread loan forgiveness but we do need to change some things. Educating people for one, not everyone needs to go to college and for those that do taking out 80K a year to earn a degree where you'll likely make 40 is just fucking stupid. We've told people they just need to go to college and get a degree and everything will work out. Simply not the case anymore. If you need to "find yourself" do two years of community college and then transfer. Helluva a lot cheaper.

And yet tons of them fly in every weekend in the fall and spring... To lose money? Food and hotel are cheap off strip. Transportation hasn't been this cheap in Vegas in decades. Drugs? Right... You think strippers just come to Vegas to party and they'll go home with non-losers for free.

There's money to be made in Vegas, that's why plenty of girls fly in for a week or even the weekend (LA, Phoenix), it's just not there in early June.

During the recession Southwest, and I assume others, were throwing free points and other perks to get people to sign up. For a few years I cleaned up and got a bunch of free flights, I was putting everything on that card. As the economy improved they tightened up and I ditched it, much better options now.
