"Six packs are too hard; I love your comfy beer-belly" Papi. I laughed so hard at this one because it's so true. I have had many dancers tell me they love big, soft teddy bears and hate dancing with skinny guys because they are too hard and bony. lol

Lol! ......TVLand pulled "Dukes of Hazard"
Rockstar - you raise a good question about Wal Mart. Their decision is a bit curious. That does surprise me. But NASCAR's decision does not surlrise me. They may be a conservative organization, but it's a sport driven (no pun intended) by advertising dollars. They're not going to bite the hands that feed them.

The actor that played Boss Hogg (Sorrell Brooke) was far from a dumb hillbilly. He was from New York, went to Ivy League schools, could speak 5 languages and was a military counterintelligence officer. Very smart guy.

Lol! ......TVLand pulled "Dukes of Hazard"
Bringing this discussion back to the theme of strip clubs -- here's what I'm afraid of. I'm not a southerner. And I do think it's wrong for the state capitols to fly the battle flag. After all, they were the losers! Having said that, this knee jerk political correctness from the left (and yes it's mostly from the left) scares the hell out of me. Today, someone finds the Battle flag offensive. So it's removed from Wal-Mart lNASCAR and TV Land. So what's next? Big Macs? My Honda automobile? Porn? Strip clubs? If you start sanitizing the world of everything that offends someone, then there won't be much left. That's what bothers me.

And wasn't there an old episode of "Bewitched" where one of the characters asks a young actress, "Are you a thespian?" And she looks outraged.

I'm surprised the network suits allow Leave it to Beaver to be shown "Ward, you were a little hard on the Beaver last night"

    Giving up your table ?
I rarely pay for a booth, but did on a very busy night. A group of 4 guys came in and asked me how much. I said $50. They paid it. Suckas. Lol

I think it was Colin Cowherd on ESPN radio that drawing the comparison to red and blue states. He's right. If you Google a map of popular soccer states it does very much mirror the political map. I don't watch it myself, but I do understand why its gaining popularity as some have said. I agree about SEC football having a stronghold in the south.

Thanks lopaw. Using the car dealership analogy makes sense. That reminds me of the story several years ago where an African American guy dressed in a hoodie and sweatpants went into a prominent BMW dealership in Indianapolis. Not only didn't a salesman approach him, he was asked to leave. It turned out he was a Colts football player and that dealer just lost out on the sale of an expensive car! Should be a word of caution to clubs that service to anyone.

On the other hand, if dancers do discriminate, they practice equal opportunity discrimination. I've seen/heard of dancers that won't dance with old guys, young guys, fat guys, white guys, black guys, Middle Eastern guys, Hispanics, women, broke guys. I guess the only ones they don't discrimate against are guys that spend lots of money! :)

"It might not be fair, but dancers are independent contractors and are under no obligation to approach a customer if they don't feel like it" Just to play devil's advocate, isn't that quite an ironic statement given the lengthy discussion we had yesterday about whether night clubs are "public accommodations" and whether the 1964 Civil Acts makes it illegal to deny entry. So just when sclvr5005 just had me convinced that it is illegal to deny entry to anyone a dancer basically says its a moot point because she can still refuse service once that individual is in the club Hmmm....now I'm more fucking confused than ever.

    If Hillary is elected President.....
Her handlers certainly are changing her appearance now that she is running for prez. When she was Secretary of State, she was looking old and frumpy. Gray hair. Glasses. Bad hair style. But she's dyed it blonde and updated the style. Took 15 years off of her appearance. Maybe one of the interns might find her not totally disgusting looking.

Why the hell is the White House lit up with rainbow colors?
All politicians flip-flop. That's not unusual. But he flip flops then flip flops again depending in what he is running for. In 1996 when he ran for the Illinois state senate he was for gay marriage. Then flip flopped when he ran for president. Then flip flopped back again.

@jester Thank you for pointing that out. 3 years ago Obama was publicly against gay marriage. He claimed he only supported civil unions. (Though in private he admitted he was lying).

I stand corrected if my interpretation is incorrect, but it's been my understanding that in general, night clubs are not considered public accomodations because they often cater to a specific clientele or social class. (Although some local and state laws due include bars and night clubs in the definition of public accommodations). Of course it's discrimination to exclude a protected class. A strip club cannot arbitrarily deny entrance to a black female for example, but if the club can show they have a history of not allowing all single women because they may be prostitutes and thus are distruptive to business, it may not necessarily be illegal. I'm not saying it's right. I have no problem with single women in the club. Maybe the courts to clarify it further.
