For someone who seems to have a knowledge of history, our OP apparently missed the historical origins of the founding of this country. Right or wrong, some traditions run deep. Not saying I agree, just providing a historical context

I’m certainly not a leftist, but I don’t get the obsession with her. She has an amazing body but she’s the definition of a butter face. I trudged thru the first season of “Euphoria” and a couple of episodes of Season 2 before I gave up. I kept hoping it would get better but I found it boring.

The US Naval Academy (and perhaps the other service academies as well) somewhat dictate your choice of majors. 65% of majors must be in engineering and if too many students declare Political Science for example, they guide you towards a different major. It may sound harsh and “un-American” but if the US tax payer is going to foot the bill for college students then perhaps a similar model to Annapolis might be considered. Major in gender studies, art history and social justice at your expense. No loans

Just a few observations…. I watched perhaps 15 minutes then dozed off. Not making a political comment, I was just tired. lol. I didn’t watch the whole thing - but I thought Biden was relatively energetic. I’m by no means a supporter but he was far more coherent than many of the YouTube clips show him to be. Why did he give the State of the Union in March? Historically it’s been a January event. But he’s given it in February in past years and this year pushed it out to March. Just curious. I’m not a big watcher of state of the union addresses. But I thought what I saw was very political. Something like you would see at the convention. Is this the modern norm? To be political? Rather than give the “state of the union”

And the VP isn’t any better (may be worse) if JB keeps over. Does Kamala often seem drunk or is she just goofy?

I would agree that probably all Italian restaurants are overpriced. Looking at their menu on line - spaghetti with marinara sauce (no meat) is the cheapest thing on the menu at $13. Not counting the salad and bread stix, you literally have about $1.25 in ingredients if you made it at home. And not as good

I was in a club that didn’t offer lap dances, just stage dancing so they had one or two girls that circulated the room with singles for exchange. I think it’s customary to always tip a dollar or two to a waitress or bartender. But asking a dancer for change is weird unless you know her well
