It sounds like Sophia's death is a homicide. I also see Emily Willis is in a vegetative coma after a drug overdose. Jesse Jane and Kagney Linn Karter were already lost this year to suicide.
Nowadays with OnlyFans and similar sites, virtually anyone can be a DIY pornstar. I wonder if we are going to see a rash of suicides from these OnlyFans pornstars in the next five or ten years.
It's hard life for these ladies. I can't believe it has been six years since August Ames was driven to suicide by online harassment. Jessica Jayme shortly thereafter. Jesse Jane and another retired starlet very recently. This is sad.
Enough of the damn fundraiser nonsense. Life insurance is a real thing, people, and for many, it costs very little especially when it is stated at a young age.
I'm not willing to donate due to someone's failure to plan ahead.
The below data from the CDC shows suicide rates by profession and gender.
None of us wants to see anyone kill himself or herself. It's very sad, and I can only imagine the pain that a person must be going through to do it, and even more so, the pain caused to those the person leaves behind.
But I'm more concerned at the disproportionate rate of males who kill themselves, compared to females. Despite the note about a wide confidence interval in the data, there seems to be a rather large number of construction workers, automotive repairmen, and in general blue collar workers who choose to end their life. What about these people?

I think Ive only ever donated to two gofundme accounts. The first was a very good friend with MS who was having stem cell treatment. I felt it was a waste, and it didn't work, but he is a very good friend. The other was another friend whose brother-in-law died suddenly. On his (my friend's) couch. New Year's morning.
You can choose to not donate to anyone regardless of the fundraising being online or offline without performatively declaring your outrage.
Yes, there are some outrageous or inappropriate (in my opinion) gofundme campaigns that I don't donate to. But for every one of those there are many that are worthwhile, at least to the niche audiences or close friends/family targeted by those campaigns.
I'm not going to contribute to Sophia Leone's funeral expenses. That would be weird. But I suspect that her friends, family, and some industry peers will (which is the actual point).
Because very few people at that age pay for life insurance. That's not a new thing, nor is it limited to adult industry workers.

Then all you have to do is not donate. It's not like someone specifically asked you. It's just in the news story.

Are you aware the mother of the Kansas City Super Bowl parade shooter started a Go Fund Me account?
That’s one example of how out of control this is

I never jerk off to their movies.

I'm guessing she wasn't in the running for the Mother Of The Year award.

Too soon?
