This club is always slow--what you saw was pretty typical. And you're right: No dances in the stage area; VIP dances only. With the right girl they can be very worthwhile.

Suki is definitely a ROB as I experienced years ago. I foolishly let her step out of the private room after paying her and midway through our time. She obviously never came back. That's fine: I've never gone back to Synn since that. Spearmint Rhino nearby is much better.

Definitely The Lodge. Better looking dancers and higher prices keep some riff raff out. I’ve also enjoyed the Spearmint Rhino (the original one in Dallas) but it’s sometimes a miss. It gets jumping later at night than I’m often out.

Yes, a number of times. Back when I was Ph.D. student, I spent a lot of time helping a dancer earn her MBA. A couple of years later she graduated, realized she made more money dancing and stuck with it. I have recommended a dancer to a company that was hiring. That was 7 years ago. She is still with the company and has been promoted a couple of times. She's doing great. And similar to Warrior, I spent a lot of time advising a dancer on her online businesses and helping her with some challenges. I also mentored a dancer who started a yoga studio. I also invested in that business and was paid back with a decent return when she sold the business a few years later. A lot of this is quite natural as it corresponds to my real job. So when girls are entrepreneurially minded, it comes up, and I help.

THanks for the review. Pre-COVID I wasn't impressed with the girls here but am considering trying it again. Your review convinced me to do so.

Years ago, when a friend turned 36 he realized he was then able to legally fuck someone half his age. That became his goal in life--find a girlfriend half his age (not a stripper). He succeeded a year or so later. He's still single and mid-50s so now he wants a girlfriend a third of his age but acknowledges he may need a stripper to satisfy his 1/3rd goal. Mid-20s to mid-30s is perfect IMO.

I'd add New Orleans to the list. Some of the girls are overpriced due to Bourbon Street being a tourist trap but I've had plenty of fun in a few clubs there.

MBOT is closing down. Some of the dancers have told me they've been asked to pick up clothes and such they've had there since the March shutdown. The club was long past its prime but remained one of my favorites.

Try some burger patties from Pat LaFreida (via GoldBelly). Since I'm not traveling I've tried close to 40 mail order burger companies and blends. The Pat LaFreida Gold Label were the near-unanimous choice of those who taste tested.

Real wagyu (of which Kobe is one of many types) is fantastic and far more than $65. Get it from CrowdCow.com and HolyGrailSteaks.com. I've been on a quest to eat wagyu at all the 8-9 US steakhouses that have the real stuff. I've got 6. Grilling wagyu would be a huge mistake because of the high fat content. Useful review. I spend part of the summers in the area so try to go there. Otherwise, it's a very unremarkable club. I've had the similar offer for better dances for more money. In the name of science, I gave it a try and the dances were...identical to normal priced dances.

Useful review. Thanks! I find the club hit or miss. I love the girls there but some nights don't find one I connect with. Perhaps because I'm only there about twice a year.

I can confirm that Suki is a ROB. I went to a private room with her. Paid her. She did, I think, 2 of the dances and said she had to step out. She never came back. I waited about ten minutes and then left the club. She is very much to be avoided.

The online porn industry happened. I still enjoy this club but it was amazing when I first visited in 1999.
