With the recent upgrade to Yellow Tier for San Fransico, has anyone been able to verify if all the clubs have reopened? I know Gold Club and Larry's are both open, but judging by their websites I can't tell if they're open for actual dances or just dining. And after checking google reviews I see the owner of Deja Vu Centerfolds is saying they opened a week ago, but I see nothing on the website and theyre not answering phone calls. If theyre open thats huge, because that means all nude clubs in the area can start reopening. Anyone in the area that can verify before I drive out there to be dissapointed?
I keep in touch with a handful of managers at my fave clubs, although they're flakier than strippers about responding :) I'll shoot out a text today and let you know if anyone is opening
I figure the all nude clubs (which as far as I know don’t have the facilities to serve food and somehow sneak into the ‘restaurant’ category) fall into the category of night clubs, so I’d guess it will still be a long while until they open up
Ah damn yeah I just don’t know. I wanted to go tonight but they’re not answering their phone. I just don’t know why the owner would have said they’re open if they’re not. Think I’ll just wait for official word
MBOT is closing down. Some of the dancers have told me they've been asked to pick up clothes and such they've had there since the March shutdown. The club was long past its prime but remained one of my favorites.
Have you driven by/seen that personally? Their social media and website are still not updated. Crazy to me, as you think they would want to attract buisness if they just reopened. Unless they're trying to stay under the radar with the opening in fear of being shut down...
Sounds like only the Deja Vu Corp owned clubs will survive. The anti-monopoly folks will probably raise hell and cause all strip clubs to disappear from San Francisco in the future.
Quick update: I heard back from a manager, and confirmed via checking the website (the websites don't outline the details though). Some of the clubs, like Hustler and Gold Club (I imagine Penthouse as well -- any place with a kitchen) have re-opened, nightshift only, basically as restaurants. No lapdances or stage dances. Buying dinner is required if you want to drink. The girls can come sit at your table, but if they want to drink, they too need to get a dinner (basically, you're buying dinner for them too... I suppose in lieu of dances). You can bump up to have dinner with your stripper in a private VIP room. Must be wearing a mask to get in the club.
I'm not in any rush to go eat indoors at this point, I've been outside eating only. But, if I were the eating indoors type, I'd consider heading there for drinks and dinner, and basically look at it as the ante to re-connect with some strippers and see if I can get some OTC going. I figure many of the girls must be ripe for it.
Yeah Like TFP said that sounds pretty terrible honestly. I would have to imagine dinner with the stripper in the VIP room would include a dance on the low, otherwise whats the incentive.
@TFP there are a couple of clubs in the north Sac area that aren't really promoting they're open, but they are. I would imagine Centerfolds could be doing the same. I just want someone to actually verify that in person lol. They are definitely not answering their phone, and I don't want to drive an hour there to see they're closed that night or that they're open, but not giving any dances. It's tough. I'm gonna go thanksgiving week I think and if no one else goes I'll give a report then.
As of last week, Centerfolds (SF) is NOT open. Most of the places only have dances available in VIP areas separate from the public for very high prices ($500-$1,000).
Gold Club Centerfolds doesn't have a separate VIP room, so I doubt there would be any dances available if open. They did have a kitchen though.
Also I believe many of the dancers working are not former regulars.
Indoor dining is being banned after Friday of this week in San Francisco County. Indoor dining is also now banned in Sacramento. If you are looking for a club, stay out of NorCal.

I'm sure theyre not advertising it. They'd get shut down
Centerfolds has no kitchen yet Icey claims they are open. How is that possible?
