I sued The Cheetah In Atlanta, GA. What will happen next?
This has been said already, Imcall1140, but TUSCL is not the place to come for the help you need. This forum is not therapy, no matter how many times some of the regulars treat it that way. If you are the person in those court records, then you should consider talking with a professional about your situation and the amount of distress it has caused you. If not that, talk to someone you know and trust IRL. We are strangers to you, and even if any of us were inclined to assist wouldn't know how.

"Cookout was whatever maybe better than Mcdonalds at least." Not gonna lie, Cookout is a place I'll look for when I'm in the Southeast. I just make sure I pick the side of the building without the homeless guys asking for change when I decide to get a drive thru burger and cheerwine float in the middle of the night.

I had to read this a few times, because I was thinking why would anybody want to see some police recruits climb a pole? Then it clicked that it's for the dancer license applicants. Odessa, huh?

I've also been to 4 of them. I shudder to think there are people who consider Sheetz locations as more than gas stations that also have food.

    Follies Atlanta coming back?
People keep talking about Follies like it was a dump. It had above average trim and a pretty sensible layout considering how many people were crammed into it at peak hours. Now the last time I was there the couch in the upper VIP booth on the right was broken down and missing a cushion on the back (plus I might've left it worse than I found it) but overall the place was pretty decent. I've been to clubs where the nicer broken down couch was flipped upside down until it was time to get to work so the uninformed would think it was totally busted. If we say the legit GCs are 8 and up for layout and decor, I'd say Follies was a 7. Maybe even a 7.5 because I liked their stages set up like catwalks all around the club. All the other stuff about the old Follies being deader than fried chicken is probably true. The ATL crew will have their say on the latest whenever they're on again.

"What will happen next?" What will happen next (if any of this is remotely true) is your personal information will be public record, and if you keep posting about your lawsuit here the power of the search engine will not be your friend. Maybe that?

10 things that most people like, that you don't.
Inspired detour by dr_lee. I'll riff on that. Things most people like in strip clubs that I don't: 1. Attention 2. More than one dancer at my table 3. Dance specials 4. Dancer lineup parades 5. DJs 6. Drink specials that aren't u call it 7. Fancy stuff like curtains around VIP that blocks my view 8. Stripper dirty talk during dances (unless done very, very well) 9. Dancers grabbing my junk in the open 10. Sex

Polls. How many threads do we have on TUSCL that could be easier to follow if we had a way to track yes/no/maybe or for/against/neutral voting? Having an option to comment with a vote or comment without voting would also be nice. Also, if polls do get put in I'd suggest no blind voting in the VIP forum. We've already got thumbs up and down on posts for drive by critiquing.

Electronman's idea of comparative reviews was a good one, it just being able to review more than one club at at time (with individual scores) so they are linked. Have the VIPs get different viewing options if linked reviews. I'd be up for reviewing multiple clubs in a few towns to test it out.

The Story About The Autistic Escort
The self-diagnosis and internet symptom shopping I didn't dwell on because that isn't an issue connected with her choice of work. Lots of people have that tendency, even if it's just to have people they can relate to. She might be onto something regarding her condition, but a first person narrative written to persuade isn't going to tell us much. Mental illness is something the afflicted often don't realize they have, so it's interesting that the author was so adamant about autism.

The Story About The Autistic Escort
"Since my misdiagnosis, I’ve emailed my psychologist evidence that autistic people can be sex workers. He’s said he’s going to consult with other psychologists who specialize in autism and get back to me. It’s been over a month and I haven’t heard from him." This sounds like a lazy doctor that hit a particularly motivated patient. Why wouldn't the psychologist have referred the author to someone else if autism wasn't their speciality? Why just tell them they're wrong and punch a clock? Better option would've been to give their assessment and a referral for a second opinion.

The truth hurts, but if you accept it, it will set you free
“Opinion: White people must face their white privilege”
"Where is the male privilege outrage?" This is a pivot, and if that had been part of your initial comment it would have landed differently. Your new point seems to be that picking one arbitrary attribute over another doesn't seem that productive. "Inequities need to be addressed, but to pretend you can't succeed in America because of your demographic is wrong and only going to further polarize our society." If someone is saying they see obstacles when they have made a genuine attempt to better their life, possibly many attempts, they aren't pretending. It's what they perceive in a personal, lived in experience. Maybe some of it is self-inflicted, but that speaks to their ability to interpret outcomes. Which stems from the community, family, and external perspectives the person has been exposed to during their life. A sufficiently motivated and capable person can overcome a great many things when that potential meets opportunity. It they ever meet. Expressing a challenge isn't the same as acknowledging defeat. Hard to do and can't do aren't the same. If there are inequities, where they exist they should be addressed like you said. That's easy enough to agree on. But if I had an answer for making that happen at a national level I'd be posting on this titty bar forum from a much nicer place lol.

“Opinion: White people must face their white privilege”
"I get annoyed when people try to make others with 'advantages' feel like they didn't work as hard or they should feel bad about it." If that's what's being done, then sure call people out on it. But acknowledging obstacles exist for some is not the same thing as diminishing the success of others. The two things are not necessarily linked. People who look alike, have generally the same backgrounds, resources, and talent finds reasons to make claims of inequity against each other. It stands to reason that the issue gets more complex the further apart the comparison points are.

“Opinion: White people must face their white privilege”
"I know successful people from most demographics and the thing they all have in common is they put in the work." There's no reason to dispute that. But what does that mean for the rest of us? And is "putting in the work" an equivalent amount of work within your circle? It's all relative. The challenge with looking at a societal issue on the scale of a nation is that most people who've ever lived only see a small, non-representative fraction of the data to inform their opinions. That's why these barroom debates almost never go anywhere, because in order to make progress the participants need to accept another point of view even if their own experience does not align with it.

“Opinion: White people must face their white privilege”
"You have to go out and try to earn better or else what's the use of doing anything?" This is a good point. What seems to keep this conversation spinning around and around and around across countless threads is whether people believe that one person trying to improve their lot is the same as another under the same circumstances.

Hypocrites and inconsistent with hiring standards
You already have replies from two dancers, so that's a good read. I do think you've got a point about clubs keeping dancers who aren't fitting the look (fitness, not other stuff) if they're turning away others who do. But there's a lot of stuff beyond looks that go into that. At least you're in a town with a lot of options.
