I am one of Shadowcat's friends who mostly lurks these days due to life changes...wife retired, no work travel, etc. so I have few new experiences. Helene nearly destroyed the only local strip club with estimates of a year to reopen. I still read this message board as it is entertaining and it gives me a way to keep up with some of the guys I've met over the years.

No front yard but a patch of trees which Helene decided I didn't need anymore. Hopefully someone is coming next week to clear them all out.

One of my favorites was a dancer that had a soul patch about the size of a quarter. Maybe I liked it because it was different?

I saw Bernie Carbo play many times here in Asheville. I also know the pitcher who gave it up!

Years ago I had a regular who would say “you go to your car and get the money and I’ll go get the condom”. She would even tie it off for me when we were finished.

I got extra attention from a dancer in January once who said it was because her Christmas bills were due. That was the first time I had ever thought about it.

Most of the stolen bases I've seen have not been particularly close and I watch most of the Dodgers games. Plus only one other player has 50 sbs in MLB this year so I don't understand trying to minimize his accomplishment.

The Fox Theater in Atlanta. It has the most lavish restrooms I've ever seen in a venue.

RE: Rick Dugan's comment about the women wanting more...I've had that happen in an age range of 10-22 years younger. An outlier also said that to me that was 40+ years younger. It seems not being an asshole goes a long way with some of these women.

A friend of mine moved there last year and rents an apartment. He says he transfers $1400/month to his local bank and usually has money left over. According to him, the most he pays for girls is $27/night and he sees 2-3 a week with come just coming to hang out at his place to watch tv and use his pool. He keeps telling me I need to come visit!

I've given in to VIP dances being $10/minute ($150 for 15 minutes) so I'll accept that. I do still balk at anything higher than that, including at my lone local club which charges $170/15 minutes.

My profile says I joined December 2004 so 20 by the end of this year! I too was drawn in by Shadowcat and Sheikitout's reports on Platinum Plus in Columbia, SC...mostly about one particular dancer there. I happened to be in that club one afternoon and saw this dude wearing out a path in the carpet from a corner seat to the VIP. I later went over and introduced myself to the infamous Shadowcat and we've been strip club friends since!

I have a friend who moved to Pattaya last year and loves it. The prices quoted earlier seem high according to him. He talks about having strippers come to his place for $30-40 for the night.

I was there once and watched the end of the Cincinnati Reds winning the World Series in 1990! I remember it being extremely crowded and pretty much all the girls being knockouts. And this was before the Kaplan guy bought it apparently.

I told the best looking dancer at my local club that the reason I didn't get dances from her was because of the amount of perfume she wore. Her reply was "why should I change just for you?" She's quite popular so clearly she doesn't need my pittance of LD fees.

Springsteen once said if the meaning wasn't obvious, then the song was always about sex.
