gk and T_Bro are correct that "who (by name) to look for" would be very handy; however, that is also potentially problematic. Identifying whom to look for based on the level of extras they provide is generally avoided based on the concern of exposing them to LE scrutiny.

Good idea gone bad? Strip Mob for climate change (video).
MG said, "IMHO, there is no such thing as 'reverse racism'. True racism involves the use of power, and it's kind of hard to believe that whites in the USA are at the 'mercy' of non-whites in the year 2009." If that's your humble opinion, then your humble opinion is ridiculous. You do not get to redefine terms in hopes of winning a point in a discussion. Words mean what they mean. Since 1933, the word "racism" has meant "a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race; racial prejudice or discrimination" Anyone can hold such beliefs. To suggest otherwise to "immunize" some people from such universally-loathsome attitudes is a pitiful attempt to shut down meaningful discussion on the matter.

Good idea gone bad? Strip Mob for climate change (video).
MG claimed, "... from the Right-wing's point of view, is that they basically don't believe in the concept of equal opportunity or diversity." Nonsense. This is a damn lie, told by damned liars. I am confident you would consider me "right-wing," and I can tell you I'm 100% for equal opportunity, as are all my "right-wing" acquaintances and friends. And diversity is a matter of course...being against diversity would be as nonsensical as being against the height of Pikes Peak, for example. Affirmative action is explicitly in opposition to equal opportunity. Instead, it aims at some perceived equal outcome. Huge difference, and wrong for any government to try to impose.

    'Lion of the Senate' paralyzed
MG referred to "the really small percentage of people (like you two wing-nuts I'm sure) that still approved of GWB's performance at the end of his term." I thought about this, and decide to "grade" GWB's performance throughout his two terms. I will readily acknowledge that the last two years of his tenure were by far the weakest. He deserves blame for not standing up against Pelosi and Reid after they took over the legislature in January 2007. Grading President George W. Bush - National Security -- GWoT, incorporating OEF and OIF: A -- Steadfast leadership in the face of obscene assaults from people who have no clue regarding executive leadership responsibilities: A -- Border control: C -- Overall: A- - Economy -- Implementing moderate tax rate cuts to recover from the recession he inherited and offset the huge impact of 9/11: A -- Signing the new spending and entitlements such as prescription drug coverage at the federal government level; spending like drunken sailors: F -- Signing the Pelosi budgets after the democrat takeover of congress in 2007, with minimal pushback: D -- Falling for the hysteria about the banking crisis, leading to the first "bailout": C -- Overall: C - Supreme Court: -- Myers (dropped out of consideration): D -- Roberts: A -- Alito: A -- Overall: B (should have never nominated Myers) - Integrity: A - Overall presidential grade: B (Were he graded merely on 2007-2008, that grade would obviously drop, but that is not the measure I considered.)

Reviews: General Statements vs. Personal Experiences
The basic facts are handy, but should be contained in the general club data section. They don't change much. The reviews are really about personal experiences. We all know that different people are certain to have different experiences, and that our own experiences will vary per visit. But the personal experiences in reviews give an indication of what may be possible or what a customer might be on guard against at a club, and are therefore valuable. Also, they can be entertaining.

    Strip Club Consultant
To the managers, I offer this feedback, as SC Consultant: - Pay the dancers a wage. Forcing them to pay to work at your club diminishes your right to enforce even the most basic rules. (And you should enforce some basic rules: Be on time, don't bring narcotics into the club...) - Eliminate the dancer-bonus per drink. Sell drinks at a comfortable profit for the club, but don't make the customers feel like suckers for buying drinks. - Allow dancers to name their own price for their private dances, and don't tax them per song. They're making you money by bringing in customers. - Charge customers for entry into the private dance area (or "VIP Area"), but only charge once. Give a wristband upon payment, so there is no contention about who has paid the toll. - Do not patrol the private dance area. The attendant/bouncer should remain near the entryway to that area, and should only intrude if called upon. - Don't hire a DJ; save your money and let dancers select their playlists on a simple music server. Almost all DJs are obnoxious buffoons anyway, and you can have a sign posted for the dancers to remember their rotation order.

Do you get any sense that customers are spending less and Dancers are more Despe
While seasonal considerations are legit, as samsung1 notes, some of us are in beach-free areas, and the half-naked women walking around town are less likely to ride me like a rented mule than are the dancers at clubs I visit...

I don't mind the various topical musings, but lose interest in threads that devolve into personal attacks. However, for those who wish posts like the start of this thread would not pollute the TUSCL boards, Founder's advice is sage. Another way I've heard it said: "Don't feed the trolls."

I've only been clubbing a couple of days in the past two months, but the mileage was maximum and the cash outlay was at the level of dance-only. Also, the appreciation for mere stage-tips was way higher than usual. It seemed like actual gratitude...

Steve's thread; Steve's "rules." His example ("Here's what I mean...") was surely more of a dislike than a true fear. Lighten up, Francis. That said, my contribution was a fear rather than a dislike.

That is odd, as you note, S'Cat. Also odd was the PotUS taking occasion to tell the country that the police "acted stupidly." Bizarre, megalomaniacal behavior.

Most give me their real name. Some even introduce themselves by their real name, and add "But my stage name is ____." If they don't offer their real name, I don't pry for it. But I relate to several dancers more personally than professionally. They are regular folks, and with some, there is no fantasy left between us. I don't therefore discard them, if we have things to talk about or do together. I find nothing wrong with having some of them as friends in the "real world."

My proposal is sounding better all the time: Anyone who believes in man-made catastrophic climate change caused by "greenhouse gases" such as carbon dioxide should do their part to save the planet...Stop breathing. The world will truly be a better place.
